We had the best stay at the Inn for a girls weekend. The house is beautiful, with plenty of spacious bedrooms and gathering areas. We loved cooking in the kitchen and visited the neighboring winery for flights and pizza. Would recommend this stay to anyone! Owner was communicative and gave us great recommendations. 10/10 stay!

Another wonderful stay for a weekend getaway with other couples and kids. Bunk room and garage game room were perfect separation for kids to have their own space. Lots of nature in this area- crabs, eagles, perch, turtles, frogs and catfish to name a few critters! House had every convenience of home- trash bags, laundry supplies, dishwasher pods, soap, laundry baskets and cleaners. It was so nice to arrive and not have to go out for basic supplies!

Absolutely amazing place and host!! There was an air conditioning issue that Juan went so far above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. House and finishes are top notch. I wish I could give more stars. You will be hard pressed to find a better place and host.

Wonderful home! can sleep way more than what was described using airbeds if necessary. worked for us as singles!!! clean, neat and spacious!! private space....one the landscape is complete it will be 1,000,000 stars!!!!! Note: bring a portable speaker or 2 if you like music!!!

If we could give it more than 5 ⭐️’s we would! Beautiful, spacious and cozy retreat. Everything we could ask for to feel right at home. We highly recommend the Sunset Retreat anytime you are looking for a place to relax and rest your head in the Williamsburg Va or surrounding areas. It’s the small things such as bottled water on every nightstand, smiles with every greeting, bath bombs for the jacuzzi and fresh eggs from the hens that greet you at the doorstep. Super clean and attention to detail in the comfort category.

We had 6 in our party and could have easily had 10 with plenty of room to wander. We ran out of time to enjoy all the amenities of the property. Great for a getaway! Host was very responsive and available.

Very comfortable and well-stocked unit with easy access to VCU, where my son had a school tournament. As others have noted it has lovely high ceilings and is in a quiet area with a private sitting area and backyard, and also an impressive range of kitchen equipment and essentials supplied (including both drip and k-cup coffee!). Would definitely stay again.

Have stayed here before and definitely will in the future! Has everything you need and the location is great!

Butterfly Cottage was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Mary was available for any questions or recommendations you might have. The cottage was well appointed and comfortable. Bathroom was large as well as the stackable washer/dryer. We would definitely recommend her as a host!

It is located in a resort with lots of services & activities & staff to assist. They gave advice on sites to see & how to best get to them. And restaurants and shopping. I used it as a base for sightseeing by car & it is located at the edge of town with good access to roads. The unit was super clean & fully featured including an easy to use washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. And very spacious. It is on the 2nd floor with elevator giving more privacy. Lots of parking.

This unit is perfect for a quiet little getaway. Perfect size for a couple who likes the peace and quiet and just needs some time alone. The staff at the registration office is polite and friendly. There were a lot of people using the pool. The fire pit near the office is a nice addition to the stay. The location is convenient to everything you need. This is a wonderful place to go to enjoy some one on one time with someone special. Elizabeth is always there for you if needed and reaches out to you to make sure your stay is above and beyond what you expect.

What a blessing to find this Airbnb, wonderully located for our granddaughter's wedding! Comfortable, quiet, woodsy, but right down the road from Rt. 17, and an easy drive to everything else. Becky & Chris are "just folks"; friendly, and hospitable. I would definitely return whe we visit family in Virginia.

The host was super responsive. Great location. There were many extra chairs. Great value. Nicely stocked kitchen. Clean.

We are two families that met up for a relaxing getaway after celebrating a high school graduation. This was the perfect place. The downstairs had lots of games and a big screen for them to hook their switch up to. We watched movies upstairs. And use the well-equipped kitchen each night to make a big dinner. The kids took the kayaks and canoe out one afternoon as well. Although I would say they definitely wouldn’t swim there. Compass entertainment complex is very close and they enjoyed their time there. We also went to a movie there one night. It is a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. Especially down on the dock at night. It was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this home.

the cabin is a perfect place for someone looking for a quiet night or two and doesn't require too many amenities.

Loved staying here, though there wasn't much to do around it is within a 30 minute drive to Williamsburg! Enjoyed the peaceful setting as it was great for our dog! The wifi didn't work well but was nice to be disconnected a bit, would recommend staying here for a quite time!

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Much needed peaceful, private getaway!! Fun unique setting. Nice newly updated bathroom and kitchen were a great addition to the otherwise rustic ambience.

The cottage was wonderful; Beautiful inside and out. Cheryl provides accommodations I have never had at any other rentals, such as a stocked coffee bar, snacks, drinks and even food items. The cottage was so welcoming and we enjoyed the peacefulness the area offers. Cheryl commumunicated throughout and we appreciated her thoughtfulness. We will definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a tranquil getaway.

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.
