This was my 2nd time staying here, loved it so much! Took my parents this time and they loved it! The location is excellent and very accessible! Lots of amazing things to do and restaurants! Located between Nottingham Road & Lions River is so ideal, we spent a lot of time along Curry’s Post & Nottingham Road!! The dogs are so friendly we are major dog lovers, and we felt so safe, although there are others on the property you never seen them or hear them. Rooms & the cottage were serviced daily. Had a lovely time thanks so much Charlie & Sarah. Can’t wait to be back!

we loved our stay. it was perfect for exploring the midlands and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. the house itself is lovely with lots of personality and the bathroom was amazing. the reading nook was cosy and the area is safe, peaceful and quiet. highly recommended

Amazing stay! Lora was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. Visiting from the UK, Angela the host gave clear directions & gate entry info. On arrival we were greeted with a thatch roof rondawel in the most serene & private surroundings. Felt so tranquil & peaceful looking out over her beautiful garden. The rondawel has a lovely rustic feel & was spotless with the little touches of tea, coffee, sugar & milk plus some delicious biscuits & a dram of Sherry! There’s a fire pit to enjoy looking up at the vast African sky & a swimming pool to enjoy by day. Vervet monkeys were busy foraging & little duikers came to visit. We stayed here 4 times during our visit we enjoyed it so much. Angela gave us tips on places to visit & eat & was so friendly during our stays. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The setting is incredibly peaceful, with breathtaking views of the river and mountains. Whether we were relaxing on the day bed or simply soaking in the natural beauty, every moment felt special. Our children had an amazing time making the fire for the hot tub, chopping wood, and swimming in the river—it was the perfect outdoor adventure for them! The tented camp itself is beautifully designed inside and out, blending comfort with nature effortlessly. This was truly a magical escape, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended.

We booked Penny's place at the last minute and she was more than willing to assist us. The space is lovely, we enjoyed meals in the open plan kitchen with a view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The shower was piping hot and clean which was superb on a rainy cold weekend. Full dstv bouquet allowed us to enjoy the UCI XCO races. All in all, an incredibly pleasant weekend. Thanks Penny.

I booked Lauriane's place for family attending a wedding nearby. The cottage was beautiful. Perfect if you love peace and quiet and especially if you're a horse lover. Access to the nature reserve was also very easy. The accomodation is exactly as described in the listing. Thank you for a great stay. Mum especially enjoyed her morning coffee while watching the horses go by.

Had a wonderful stay in a very well equipped cottage. The stairs to the loft are very steep. Perhaps a handrail on the side would make it easier and safer to get up and down. The location is awesome. Very peaceful, safe and secure. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect area for our trip. Just down the road from the meander. 2 malls just along the road to get shopping and the house is not far from the road to Underberg. The room had everything we needed to hand. Directions were a series of photos, ideal for me, l wasnt trying to look for numbers just the gate that was a big win. The room was cleaned and serviced each day. The very hot shower was great as we had a day and a half awful weather. Plenty of extra, soft blankets for yhe bed helped hub out. Village at Yard 41 was our breakfast place. will go back if we are in the area.

Peta is an amazing host. She gave us excellent recommendations and took us on a lovely walk. She really went out of her way to ensure that we had a good stay and that we did. The beds were very comfortable and warm, the house was cozy and we had stunning views over farmland. It was like living in a story book. She left us delicious bread, butter and we even had tea, coffee and rusks. The sherry was a lovely little touch. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem

We spent 3 days with our family at the Stables cottage and had a wonderful stay. The location is peaceful and the scenery is stunning. Kate also organised dinner on request and we thoroughly enjoyed it esp the vegetarian meal. Our 3 yr old was overjoyed to see horses, goats and dogs on the property. The staff ( Anna, Ruthie and Mbongeni) were super nice and made sure we had a comfortable stay.

Our stay at the Magical cottage was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle. Elmine was the perfect host, making us feel at home with the tasty rusks, extra firewood, etc. The views are truly wonderful and peaceful. We loved our morning coffee in the veranda and had plenty company from the Southern Boubous, mousebirds and many others. Thanks and we will be back.

Our family of 10, along with 3 children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which served as our base for a wedding function. The house is spacious, providing ample room for everyone. We loved the lovely lounge, the veranda, and the large dining table that allowed us to catch up together. Zanele, who lives on the property, is friendly and helpful, while Craig is a very responsive and accommodating host.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Even on the day where it rained non-stop for 26 hours we had a blast. It was a cozy, romantic, comfortable and peaceful stay. Everything we hoped for. The cottage is well appointed, tastefully furnished. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathrooms clean and functional. Kitchen was lovely to use and well appointed. We never even ventured off the farm. We had a lovely walk when the rain cleared. It is private and relaxing. If you need a place to just shut out the world and slow down then this is it.

We had a great stay at Inversanda Farm. The fenced yard was large so our dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was cozy and a substantial size so we could comfortably stay for 4 nights. We would definitely be back!

I found Crofters Loft to be clean, spacious, homely with all the kitchen essentials one would need. Lovely blooms and pond greeted me at the entrance and fresh flowers graced the dining table. Eggs and milk were also an added plus. Lizzi the hostess was communicative since the reservation including check-in till checkout and was warmly polite during my stay. It has a lovely fireplace which I unfortunately didn't need as the weather was warm. I will have to go back during the colder month's ;-). I loved some of the art on the walls too. The Photos are a true reflection of the accomodation and I would recommend Lizzi's place. Thank you, Lizzi

Staying with Patrick and Desiray was superb. The location was like a piece of heaven and the hosts were so accommodating and kind. The place was private, farm house style, everything lived well, it was a home with gorgeous art work on the walls and books- just felt like home. It was also easy to keep clean and easy to cook in and find what you need. Loved every second and could have stayed longer!
