If you are going to spend a few days in Weimar, you will love this big and bright apartment. The windows look out to the south. The whole apartment is fresh, maintained and well equipped only for you and your family or friends. You can feel like home. For arriving by car there is good parking in front of the house and the city center can be reached within a five minute walk. The neighboring house was once the home of the painter Alfred Ahner. The most popular bar „Zum Falken“ in Weimar ist very close. There are good bands and other events organized by students. It's a lively scene. When you enter the apartment, you can enjoy and feel well. You will love the high quality sound system or play on the piano. Put you clothes in the chest of drawer or use the hallway as a walk-in wardrobe. There are also many board games. The well equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking. Everything important is present and there is a large selection of spices. Do you like coffe or tea - no problem, it's all inklusive. In the white and bright bathroom are fresh bath towels and soap. The most freaky accomodation in Jena. Wooden cottage on steep slope and fantastic view over the city. The highlight is a heatable bathing tub on a big wooden terrace !!! We visited Melanie for the second time and it was all great again. Melanie is super sweet and always available and helpful. Our children felt comfortable on the horse farm and were happy to be able to pet Icelandic horses every day :) The place is also cozy and has everything you need. So we will be happy to come back a third time :)

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

What a place to stay...... there is nothing left to be desired. Complete, high-quality furnishings with everything you could ask for. And this in an apartment that is modern and open, with generous space and top technology. All this and the very likeable hosts, in a wonderful down-to-earth environment make a vacation a highlight. Always responsive, very helpful and with the warm parents on site in the same house, but separated as an apartment with separate outside access, you feel like a king as a guest. Uncomplicated and very flexible charging of the electric car was possible, parking in front of the house on sight in a quiet, upscale residential area rounded off the overall picture. All consumables were available, even coffee beans were available for the arrival and a first cup of espresso in the coffee machine. Unfortunately, we were only here for a few days. Thank you again.

What a beautiful and cozy cottage. It's absolutely quiet on the edge of the forest. In the morning you can watch squirrels and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The decor fits the cottage, and it was lovingly decorated for Christmas. The welcome by Monika's mother -Cornelia- was soooooooo warm. Thank you so much for the delicious Christmas cookies, homemade jam and dried mushrooms. The highlight was that we had snow over Christmas. We would be happy to come back, but then in summer to hike extensively and enjoy the beautiful nature.

The spacious apartment is very thoughtfully equipped and offers great space for a wonderful stay. The "garden of the senses" is filled with many bird voices of various bird species, very neat and lovingly designed. A place of peace and relaxation. Philipp and Angela are great people and hosts. We will be happy to come back.
