Cottage vacation rentals in Netherlands

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

Our stay with Nanda and Peter was just the right thing in a nutshell! The polite reception and a brief but precise introduction to the property made us feel right at home. The AirBnB offers everything as indicated and it is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Communication worked out great and we were given tips and recommendations for the area. The combination of a nice and privacy-respecting family next door, the opportunity to interact with the trusting animals and the quiet environment make the AirBnB unique. An absolute recommendation for every animal and nature lover. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

The cottage is very cozy and equipped with every comfort. The outside space space is beautiful. I enjoyed the scrambling chickens.

We loved Claudia’s place! It far exceeded all our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures suggest. An incredibly beautiful area so close to the waterfront from some gorgeous sunsets. 15 mins walk from the small village with an excellent small Spar supermarket and takeaway but very peaceful too. Also excellent cafes/restaurants a short cycle away and Claudia kindly let us use all her bikes. Impeccably clean, really comfortable beds. Brilliant hot tub and super fun area downstairs perfect for teens! It could not have been any better for our short stay in the amazing Netherlands. Wonderful!

Judy is a lovely person who cares for her guests. I loved using the hot tub each morning and relaxing in the sunshine in the afrernoon in a peaceful setting. Judy recommended a bike shop and I rented a bicycle for my stay! It was so easy to get around and the area is beautiful! The town of Buren has some nice restaurants and it is a pretty, Dutch village. I truly enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this place if you need peace, quiet and time in nature....simple pleasure!! Thank you Judy.🙏

We had a great stay in Esther and Marc's cottage. Beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. It had everything you needed for a short break. The view over the water in the sunshine and the sunsets were lovely. Friendly restaurant with good food just at the end of the road. Beach, villages and towns within easy reach. Hot tub in the garden and a canoe and bikes at your disposal and a delicious breakfast brought to your door. Highly recommended 👌

Great location close to Sluis. Nice garden for the kids to play and the house has all the amenities for a relaxed stay.

Wonderful place to stay, an idyllic retreat in the middle of a green wonderland.

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. It is a very cozy cottage. Sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Marlies had taken the trouble to decorate the cottage in Christmas atmospheres. There was even a Christmas tree. She also had a delicious Christmas turban at the bakery. We really felt at home. We had some bad luck with the weather but you can walk here with various excursions within walking distance. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay but really worth the money.

Nice cottage in the middle of nature. (woods) House was clean and everything present. Spent a few nice days on the Veluwe, cycled a lot and walked, so had beautiful weather!!! Certainly subject to repetition.

Mariska and her family are extremely welcoming and great people. They have a folder in the tiny house that describes everything you’d want to know. Spending time on a farm with all these animals was incredibly calming and peaceful. 10/10 would visit again if in the area!

We stayed here for 4 days and felt very comfortable. Caroline and Jan are very nice and helpful and the house is beautiful and very cozy, especially the sun rays give a very great light through the old windows. You can also sit comfortably in the quiet garden, enjoy the sun in the morning and listen to the birds and bumblebees. My dog Murphy also felt at home! Which is also very special: there was even food to bridge the first afternoon! Thanks so much for the great break!

For a long weekend on the Veluwe booked this cottage and we would do it again in a heartbeat! Nice location, nice house, lovely shower and bed. And a sweet dog who occasionally comes to check that you are all still there;-)

It was a warm welcome. Rachel immediately made you feel welcome. A clear explanation of the cottage. The cottage is truly top notch! Superb location with an orchestra of the birds. Really nice! And not to forget Charlie. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet place with nice sauna. For our three children aged 5.3 and 1 year, everything was present in the house including nice toys and games. We had a good time both in the cottage and the area😀.

Had the most peaceful week at Marlou's lovely cottage - 100% would recommend! The cottage is beautifully decorated which gives the place a cosy, serene and calming atmosphere. It's also excellently equipped - with everything you could need to cook each night in the kitchen, high quality teas and coffee, very comfortable bed, a large comfy sofa & tv with netflix etc - plus thoughtful touches like candles. You can do walks in the nearby wood from the door. Marlou was super friendly and communicative. Stayed in lots of air bnbs but this one really stands out in terms of quality and value!

Chantal's house is lovingly and tastefully decorated. It has everything you need to feel good and switch off, everything is thought out with attention to detail (e.g. matches can always be found near candles) - both in the house and in the garden. The location is perfect as a starting point for hiking in the beautiful dune landscape or for a bike ride, for example, to one of the beaches or the beautiful towns. Thank you - also for the nicely prepared welcome!

Ria and Nico are great hosts. We were several hours late due to many traffic jams and were still received in a very friendly manner. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The surroundings are wonderful and the proximity to the beach is simply unsurpassed. We had wonderful days there and would stay with Ria and Nico again at any time. Thank you

Very pleasant place. Beautiful large space where it is wonderful to stay with a small child. Near the forest, lake or village. Plenty to do by bike!

Jolanda’s place is located on the edge of a nature reserve. So long walks along the river are a must with some very unusual birds to be seen and heard. If you have a car, you have easy access to Motorways, you can also hire bikes from Jolanda and quiet rides into the neighbouring towns are within 30 mins. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and the hosts are friendly and were great for suggestions of where to go and what to do. Hope to visit again sometime.

we were very satisfied. everything was great. A very nice house . The area was quiet . It was also not far by car 12 min to the beach. The kitchen was super equipped. We will be happy to come back.
