A large Victorian house close to the centre of Bakewell. The house sleeps 10, and there’s easily enough space to hang out and not be on top of each other. Dining room, and outside dining area too. There are 2 living rooms, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office space and a seclude garden. Lynwood is near the end of a quiet, private road and will give you a great base from which to explore the Peak District. Loads of lovely restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Amazing walking trails nearby.

The cottage is in a traditional converted barn and is in the private grounds of a working farm, just outside beautiful Monyash. The nearest pubs are less than 1/2 mile away and the nearest village shops are in Hartington. Endmoor Farm is a 2 minute cycle from the Tissington Trail and is close to the Peak Pilgrimage and Limestone Way, so great for walking. It is Pet friendly with a lovely shared garden.

Deborah’s Airbnb was perfect for a weekend stay with my family, including my niece who is 1 years old. The property was in a beautiful location with both privacy and peacefulness, as well as walking distance to Bakewell and local activities. Deborah was very helpful in accommodating a flexible check in and was quick to respond to any questions we had. My family kept commenting on how fantastic they thought the Air bnb was! What a house! An amazing place near to the station, which was really useful. Comfortable and big beds and a nice shower. Gill came by and gave us some croissants one morning, and has been the perfect host - friendly and easy to communicate with at all times. A very relaxing place to stay in a pretty little town. Would recommend!

The apartment was extremely clean and perfectly set up. We went on a beautiful walk to Eyam right from the doorstep from had a perfect lunch from the fish shop across the road. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and were very comfortable in the house and had every single thing we needed.

We used this lovely home while waiting for the purchase of our new home to complete, we wanted somewhere in Chesterfield that was going to feel like a home and be comfortable while I’m undergoing chemo, Winston’s home ticked every box and our 2 dogs and 2 house cats definitely approved, the garden is secure and safe, parking outside was perfect, we couldn’t have picked a better property, even suppling a Christmas tree and decorations made it that much more special, thank you 🙏

John was a great host. He was always prompt with communications and gave really clear instructions for arriving and the stay. The house was spectacular with 2 living rooms, kitchen and 5 bedrooms spread over 5 floors. There were TVs in every room, all the appliances you need in the kitchen and even a pool table in one living room. The location is at the top of a very steep hill so a bit tricky to walk back from Matlock to own centre. But there are a couple of pubs within a 5 minute walk. Finally the views from all floors were absolutely spectacular!

Had a wonderful few days staying at Catherine's place. It was just as the photos and descriptions stated. It was super clean and tidy, with lovely comfy beds. The private off street parking was a bonus too, although you can park on the road outside. Thank you for the little extras of mild, bread and homemade marmalade, which were lovely touch. The views are spectacular and it is a 10-15 minute walk from town. (It is a steep walk back up) however you could drive down and park in the towns car parks if mobility is a problem. Matlock itself is beautiful, peaceful and felt very safe with lots of lovely shops and the park and river walks are fab. We will definitely be back in the future for a longer stay to explore more of the area. 10/10
