Felt at home from the moment we stepped into Debendra's place - all thanks to a friendly, helpful and attentive host and great staff. Amazing momos for dinner, great value room, and walkable to the centre of Kathmandu whilst feeling like a small and secluded slice of peace & quiet.
A panoramic view reveals the majestic Annapurna Range, showcasing snow-capped peaks under a clear blue sky. Lush greenery in the foreground contrasts with the mountain's rugged outline, creating a serene natural landscape.

Himalayan Yoga Retreat Farm

KrishnaRating, 5 stars99 months ago
If you are into hammocks, yoga, meditation, sound healing, being away from the city bustle, vegetarian food, farming, having kitchen access, and gracious hosts then you have found your Pokhara destination. Access to a yoga studio and kitchen is a huge plus. Rooms are basic but spacious and romantically rustic. They have yoga classes and retreats available, though we were free to practice our own. Great value altogether for what you have access to. Also on the way up to Sarangkot if you're feeling in the mood for a good 2-3 hour hike. A little hard to find at night but they are excellent with communication.

Experience Nepali Culture in the Village Homestay

RovinaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I had the most amazing week staying with this beautiful family in Barang village. From the very first day, they made me feel right at home. Everyone was incredibly kind and took such good care of me. Amma felt like my own mother and honestly, the whole family felt like family to me! Every meal was prepared with love, and you could truly taste it. All the ingredients were organic and grown right there on their farm, which made it feel so nourishing and deeply connected to the land. The village itself is very peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and with a gorgeous view of the Himalayas when the sky is clear. It was so beautiful and heart warming to experience all of your generosity and care. I’ll forever carry this place in my heart! Thank you so much 🙏🏽

If you want a change of scenery from big cities, you are in the right place: between countryside and jungle, you have many activities to do... The welcome offers a catering service, with a very nice restaurant garden by the river. Hosts are available for you if you'd like anything.

Tranquility on the outskirts ;Yoga Retreat Pokhara

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just what I was looking for, peaceful and quiet and friendly staff and guests. The yoga classes, meditations are great - but optional. The dining room is lovely with attentive staff. There's not a lot of variation, the meals are well-prepared, vegan and many vegetables are grown in the gardens below. There's view spectacular, all the more so when the sun shines. There are several walks and Ishwor has suggestions and will make arrangements for outings, some led by himself! Lest I forget, the massage available is divine.
A serene landscape view showcases a calm lake surrounded by lush green hills. Snow-capped mountains are visible in the distance with clouds gently drifting above, creating a peaceful atmosphere in the natural setting.

Mahadevi - Twin room w/ Ensuite

VadimRating, 5 stars103 months ago
One of the most beautiful and quiet places I've stayed in Nepal. Hosts are very helpful and can provide anything needed including delicious food. Hot shower is a little difficult but also can be arranged, which is a small trade considering the rest that this place provides.

Manakarni Family - Special Room

My friends and I had a wonderful time in the Ramakanta's house. He and his family were very helpful and anything we needed. They organized a trip by jeep in the reserve; it was amazing! Ramakanta is a surprisingly caring person. He met us at Bharatpur ( it takes almost six hours!); and also pursued and put our group on the bus to Kathmandu. I definitely recommend cosy and authentic house Ramakanta to stay in Chitwan!

Sanu House Homestay

ChunhuaRating, 5 stars13 months ago
The landlord Sarita is very friendly and kind, with an angelic smile. She provided a lot of local travel tips and took me to many local activities. She can provide meals at any time, which is just as comfortable as living at home, This is the warmest family hostel I have ever stayed in, Thanks a lot for Sarita did for me. Will stay again when I back from Pokhara .

I made the best decision to spend 3 nights at this hotel on my first solo trip to Nepal. The hotel staffs were super friendly, they waited for me and cooked a hearty dinner meal upon my late arrival to the hotel. The surroundings of this hotel was serene and beautiful. I will definitely come back to this place soon. I had such a memorable trip.
