The stay at Heman’s apartment was once again absolutely wonderful! The whole family is incredibly warm and welcoming, which creates a very homely and comfortable atmosphere. The location is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful, local neighborhood slightly away from the busy lakeside tourist area — yet still within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the lake. As the apartment is located on the ground floor, it’s possible to overhear occasional some noise or conversations from the yard, but overall the area is very quiet and perfect for relaxation. A small mountain nearby offers the chance to take short hikes into nature and rewards with stunning views over Pokhara. Heman’s and Ekraj’s apartments come highly recommended and would be a great choice for anyone visiting the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would happily return. Our hosts were very warm caring people which made the accommodation even more enjoyable.

This apartment in Kathmandu is located outside the tourist area which I loved. You feel more like a local, whilst being approx 20 min walk from Thamel. It is in a quiet area, away from the road. Nice clean room and beds were quite comfy. Host is easy to communicate with. Great location, walking distance from where the buses leave to Pokhara.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Shristee's place! The apartment was more spacious than I expected, it was clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect, it was close to Jhamsikhel, with plenty of lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance. Communication with Shristee and her mom, Jayanti, was very easy. They were incredibly accommodating, promptly addressing any requests or questions we had. Since we stayed for three weeks, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, providing extra bed sheets, towels, additional kitchen items, and even a small bathtub for my 5-month-old. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. We’d gladly return for another visit!

Bhawani's place is a peaceful cave. It's has a huge potential and very convenient location. I loved that the sheets and blankets are clean. Host is very responsive n always ready to help. Restaurant is next door with geest food. Pashupatinath is in walkable distance n grocery stores are around. I loved it.

This is a lovely place to stay in Pokhara, set back from the road, quiet and really comfortable - especially the bed! Nearby is a great supermarket, fruit and veg shop. Only 10 min walk down to lake. I was in the kitchen apartment - had everything I needed and I loved the huge windows and light and the fact it backed onto gardens both sides, even had a resident cow and chickens in one. A lovely roof terrace too. This family are such lovely people - really welcoming and kind and there to help with anything. There was such a nice feeling here as soon as I arrived, I felt lucky to find it. Also they have a lovely dog Hannah who greets you every time you come in!

Jyoti’s place and location are fantastic for all types of travellers - maybe those who prefer a quiet place nestled away from the buzzing of kathmandu and yet being at walk-in distance from either transportation or 20 minutes walk to Thamel. Jyoti also is a fantastic kind human adding value to the world.

In such a busy city as Kathmandu, Pratima's place offers peace and quiet in a lovely neighbourhood. And with lovely views as well. The location was perfect for my circumstances, and Pratima was a very responsive and hospitable host.

I love this little gem in Kathmandu - Jason and his family make you feel at home every moment. They were helping me with every single detail during my stay. The place itself is even more beautiful than pictures and the little community around makes a super quiet cozy and homy environment I will be definitely back (and very soon) Thanks!

Had a fantastic stay! The property is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has a cozy, welcoming feel. Dolma was a super host—friendly & attentive. Highly recommend!

The apartment is spacious and has a kitchen suitable for cooking, wifi worked well, the bathroom is separate but private and the sink is outside on the patio. This is fine except you are in full view of the neighbors. It is quite dirty with dust and grime. The area is a long walk to thamel but you can get taxi or motor bike for $1-3 each way. The price is right so good value for the money.

The place was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Both husband and wife were incredibly responsive and provided excellent local recommendations. We felt right at home and would definitely book again on our next visit to Kathmandu. We loved this place! It was very central and the host was very accommodating. Great spot to enjoy the very best of Kathmandu. Lay out of the apartment was great.
