Comfy, cozy family home.

Our home is cozy, full of warmth and elements of nature. There is a large deck with a wonderful view and a trampoline out front for children. An enclosed side yard is available for guests with dogs (there is an additional $50 fee for pets). A carpenter by trade, I have spent the last few years creating a home which is playful yet peaceful. My home is intended for families, respectful couples or mature individuals. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for a house to party in.

We went looking for a total peaceful and quiet getaway and this place more than delivered. Very quiet area, so many areas and things to explore. We didn’t have many questions, but the ones we did have she was very responsive. All amenities were as listed. The outside dining and relaxing area were a huge hit. We are looking forward to going back for our next getaway!

Teddy was a welcoming host and began communication to support our vacation right from the initial booking to ensure we would be satisfied with our decision. Our dog was also accepted and the space was pet friendly which is a must on our travels. The kitchen, bathroom and bed linens were all well stocked and the bed was really comfortable. A large private yard area, with a fire pit were available too! We cannot say enough about the amazing deck space and lovely view of the autumn leaves and Kootenay Lake. It was really our own private hide-a-way and we thought it was a special little gem.

This was our 3rd time staying with Cibylla and Steven, it’s honestly one of our favourite places to stay. The suite is beautiful, spacious and has all of the comforts of home. Cibylla, Steven and Ruffles are very friendly and welcoming. There is so much to see in do in the area, we are looking forward to visiting again in the near future. We stayed at Kim's cabin over Christmas and it was a great choice. The cosy, wooden interior, the log fireplace, and the moody views across the lake really made it a special stay. The open layout of the main living area makes for a great group hang-out space. - the well stocked kitchen overlooks the living space, with an island with stools in-between - perfect for laying out spreads for people to graze! The dining area to the side, while removed slightly from the main area, is still very open and holding conversations between the 3 areas was seamless We only used the 2 downstairs bedrooms and the furnishings were good and in-keeping with the cosy and rustic feel. We made use of both the sauna and jacuzzi tub, and both worked well. As a group of just 4 we fit very comfortably, but even with 6 I feel there'd be plenty of room to hang out together, or spread out and have your own space if you wanted. Overall a very comfortable property than captures the warm vibe of the Kootenays.

Better than the photos! Debbie was an amazing host. We were staying in her suite while having to go back and forth to the hospital with my mom. It was a stressful time for my little family. We can’t express how much we appreciated Glenn’s care and kindness. He plowed the snow every morning and made sure we had everything we needed. Home was amazing. We loved interacting and meeting him as he lives in the adjoining unit. The home is super comfortable and a chef’s kitchen with all you need to cook. Views were breathtaking. Thank you and we would definitely stay again!!

This property might be the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Words cannot describe how beautiful Angels home was, the property, the surroundings, and the incredible views and peacefulness of Heaven! Honestly, I didn't want to leave!!! My wife and I had the most incredible vacation, and thanks to Angels warm and inviting hospitality we will return to visit again and again. The property has everything you could ask for and need, all you have to do is show up and start relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Heaven!
