Adorable Mountain Guest Suite

We went looking for a total peaceful and quiet getaway and this place more than delivered. Very quiet area, so many areas and things to explore. We didn’t have many questions, but the ones we did have she was very responsive. All amenities were as listed. The outside dining and relaxing area were a huge hit. We are looking forward to going back for our next getaway!

The Col Suite - One Bedroom

We booked Courtney's place so as to ride the Slocan Valley Rail Trail. She has 2 units side by side. Next door is the Slocan Hotel..great little bar. On the other side was small coffee shop/bakery which we did not have time to try. Friday night Legion across street has home style dinner. Very much enjoyed our stay. Clean. comfortable and convenient.

Cabin in nature only 5 minutes away from Nelson

I loved my stay in Bunkieland. It was so peaceful with a beautiful view from the deck. Exactly the escape I was looking for. It was also great to have a place my dog could stay, he loved the bunkie just as much as I did. Also a great location if you are coming to Nelson to bike... very close to Morning Mtn trails. Maria was super nice and helpful. Would gladly visit again!

Riondel Kootenay Lake view guest house

ShellyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Teddy was a welcoming host and began communication to support our vacation right from the initial booking to ensure we would be satisfied with our decision. Our dog was also accepted and the space was pet friendly which is a must on our travels. The kitchen, bathroom and bed linens were all well stocked and the bed was really comfortable. A large private yard area, with a fire pit were available too! We cannot say enough about the amazing deck space and lovely view of the autumn leaves and Kootenay Lake. It was really our own private hide-a-way and we thought it was a special little gem.

Absolutely incredible. Everything about Bill and Barb's place was beyond perfect! We stayed for a few nights on our honeymoon, spent one entire day just on the water going from private beach to private beach. Blown away by every detail, the decor, the kindness- couldn't have been better. Thank you. and would HIGHLY recommend!!

Look at that View!

PatriceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cibylla and Steven were once again so kind and hospitable. This was our second time staying in the suite and we just love the place. The suite is in a great location surrounded by nature, and a short drive away from a nature park and old growth walking trails. And we can't forget the view! Enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck was a must each morning. The suite is spacious, warm and very comfortable! We look forward to staying again. Thanks Cibylla and Steven!:)

Beautiful home in Nelson

TerryRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Such a lovely home with spectacular views during the day and at night! The kitchen was a joy to cook in and all three bedrooms were beautifully appointed with comfortable beds. The sound of the creek flowing was a peaceful backdrop at night and there is a charming deck and stairway out the back garden by the creek's "outdoor shower" for quiet moments too. We were working each day and came home each evening to relax in the comfort of James' house with inviting leather couches and thoughtfully decorated art and furnishings. Without question, we will return! Many thanks, James - you were a wonderful and responsive host!
