A block from Lake Superior beach! The bike path is right out your front door. The location doesn't get any better. This home is located on a quiet street in a family neighborhood with lots of kids. Walking distance to downtown- Washington St. and 3rd St. The kitchen/dining area is open floor plan w/ a modern gas fireplace and a large dining table. Glass doors go to the patio where there is outdoor dining, a gas grill and a large back yard. End the evening in the sauna. 2/3-5 night minimum stay.

Magnificent lake view and the perfect deck to enjoy the view! You can actually see the sunrise in the morning. Ample space with all the necessities. Like some of the reviews, the house is a bit old but it does not affect the quality of your stay. The only thing kind of bothers me (tiny bit) is the kitchen light. It’s relatively dark so not very convenient to cook when it’s dark outside. Otherwise, this place is a gem!

This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!

October 19-22, 2024. We loved staying at your beautiful, clean and comfy cottage! It was the perfect landing spot for our amazing Pictured Rocks Cruise, checking in a bit early to get to the cruise on time was perfect! We enjoyed bopping around the waterfalls and 12 mile beach. Absolutely loved this trip. A wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting for us upon arrival. We made full use of the fireplace to stay nice and warm during the cold, snowy weekend. Being right along the river was amazing and made for a beautiful view. We utilized the snow shoes to walk along the frozen river and creek which was extremely fun. This was the best cabin we’ve stayed in and we will be sure to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend the weekend.

The Sandbox’s shoreline was stunning and the comforts of the beach house itself were perfection! The neighboring towns offered great spots for local shopping and dining, and SOOO many beautiful nature-based things to do await you! If you are at all put off by natural well water with a high iron content, buy some gallons of water to bring with you for drinking water/pets - other than that, absolute perfection (and important to note, totally outside of the control of the owners/management)!
