Family-friendly vacation rentals in Narragansett

This home was absolutely perfect for my sister's Bachelorette weekend. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. The open floor plan of the dining/kitching/living area was perfect for us to spend time with each other. We were out of the house a lot for activities and the location was very convenient to neighborhood cofee shops, restaurants and the beach. Also a very quick ride into Newport. This home had everything we needed - ample parking, beautiful finishes, and lots of outdoor space.

We loved everything about the place. The location was excellent. The space was just the right size for the two of us and it was well appointed. We were very happy there and will be returning on our subsequent visits to Newport.

We had a wonderful off-season weekend at Jenny’s place. It’s a beautiful home that is well appointed, which made it easy to settle in. The house is also in a prime location in downtown Newport. Being mid-January, it was nice to have a short walk to many great restaurants and shops. We look forward to coming back!

Gregg was easy to work with and was very responsive. The house is less than a mile to Scarborough beach. The house had all the amenities our guests needed. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The deck was great for eating dinner or hanging out. The yard was big enough for outdoor games. The house came with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and even a cornhole set. They even had locks for your bike. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but in this case it is appropriate. Would love to rent again. Thanks for helping to make this a great family vacation.

Our stay at Paul's place in Newport was great. The property was as described with a beautiful view of the harbor. There was some wear and tear in the unit, but no more than one would expect of a place that gets a lot of use. I thought it was clean and was set up well for my wife and me. The location was perfect with many restaurants, shops and sights to see within walking distance. We enjoyed the use of the rooftop deck on several occasions, to see the sunset or to enjoy a cocktail before heading out to dinner. If we head back to Newport someday, I will definitely rent this unit again, if available.

The rustic retreat was a cozy vintage inspired house that felt very homey. It was 5 minutes from great coffee shops and downtown Newport. It was great to be able to bring our dog. My daughter loved the secret bamboo garden ‘room’. Would definitely stay again. Lillian was very hospitable! Thank you!

This house was spotless. Everything felt clean, the beds, the bathrooms. 5 bedrooms all nice size and clean. No carpets which is fantastic when you allow dogs. So happy to bring my two Bostons. Plenty of supplies and kitchen utensils. Nice backyard and neighborhood. AC worked great. The only thing I would recommend is a door on the outside shower. From CT and we don’t have outdoor showers so it would have been nice to have everyone shower outside. Other than that it was perfect for my family. Loved having the bikes ! Jackie left us wine and snacks totally appreciate it. We had a great week.

The place was great. Very charming house with plenty of room. Very easy to find as well. Roland was great. Super responsive and flexible!! If I make it to Middletown again I’ll stay here again for sure!

Excellent unit with great view of the harbor. The unit and the inn itself is very clean and smells very fresh. The rooftop deck gives an amazing view of the sunset over the harbor. There is adequate/free parking at the inn as well as at the sister resort across the street. Walking distance from great restaurants and shopping complexes. Gary was quickly responsive to all my questions and provided excellent details for check ins etc. Would definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful home and host. Check in was easy and flexible as we weren't sure when we'd arrive. We were greeted by all the fixings for stores and everything was well stocked. Main bedroom bed was very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean as was the pool in the backyard. We had everything we needed and Tricia gave us great local recommendations for shopping, food and things to do. Would highly recommend if you're traveling to the area with a group/family.

I fell in love with this apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were excellent, very cozy and endless amenities, the only complaint I have is the ceiling of the room but it is understandable and is not a big deal and they did not tell us where to put the garbage so we had to leave it in front of the door in the garage but other than that a very good experience in this beautiful place, I recommend it!

My family had a great weekend at Kristin’s house. I love this Beautiful, clean, well maintained property. The fire pit is great for marshmallow. We did not get to use the lovely pool because it got really cold at night. Bonus: filtered water from fridge, blinds + curtain, skylight in bathroom.

Beautiful location right on the marina in downtown Newport! The place was wonderful and just steps from all of the restaurants and shops in Newport!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Absolutely beautiful home with every amenity and comfort. You can tell how much love and care went into this place- every piece of furniture and detail is the highest quality. It’s even more spacious and beautiful than it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our group with young kids and it was great they provided a pack and play so we didn’t have to pack one. The hosts were easy to communicate with and flexible. They even let us check out late on our final day. We opted to enjoy the beautiful yard and home longer rather than venture out because we were so comfortable. We cannot wait to come back in the summer as the pool and yard set up is incredible. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Sara's place was fantastic! Perfect for our group running a local race. Walkable to Easton's Beach and restaurants in Middletown. the place is extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Sara was excellent: very responsive and accommodating - I would definitely stay here again!

We came to town for the marathon and Mary and Dwight’s place had the comfy couch and beds we needed for a relaxing recovery. They were proactive and responsive hosts and had easy check in and check out instructions! We enjoyed our stay in Newport and several of their local recommendations.

Well-appointed (especially kitchen) home in a quiet neighborhood near Brickley's ice cream. Great place for large families/groups - it's hard to find a true 6 bedroom like this with comfy queen/king beds for all. Pool/backyard gets partial sun for a few hours of the day so it was pretty cold for our taste, but shade in afternoon was welcome with kids. There's a step down into living room just FYI for anyone with a toddler like us!

Absolutely LOVE staying at Anna’s home that she graciously shares! Her home is like coming to your favorite aunts house while she is out of town and you just get to chill out and enjoy the area!! Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to what I’ll call the “mall area” that has everything usually around a mall. Definitely check out The Head Landing Country Store for their coffee and DELICIOUS home baked goodies!!!

Leeza was a great host. Very accommodating with a quick response. Our microwave wasn’t working and she was able to bring us a new one immediately. Place was beautiful with a beautiful environment around us!

This was our second time staying in this adorable place and again it was perfect. Plenty of beds for our family group, very cozy and relaxing vibe to the decorating, and walkable to the Main Street shops and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

This cottage is adorable and in a great location!!! We loved the fire pit and close proximity to the beach!!! There is also a great pizza joint, liquor store, and gas station right at the end of the road so super convenient to the cottage!!! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Rhode Island!!! We had a wonderful stay!!!
