House vacation rentals in Nanoose Bay

This was genuinely the best Airbnb experience we've had. The house is huge and beautiful. Amenities are great. Tara and Kelly were super helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the whole process. Loved the hot tub and indoor (heated) pool. Rooms were much larger than we initially thought, kitchen was beautiful with an induction cooktop. photos don't do it justice. Check in was very easy. Our hosts prepared a welcome basket for us when we came in Had a great time and would definitely come back here.

All of our families had a fantastic stay experience. The house was well-equipped and tidy, with ample space for activities. The children really enjoyed themselves.

We had a fantastic family vacation at Linda & Jocks. We loved the backyard setting with the pool, hot tub and natural gas fire pit for the cool evenings. Home had everything we needed and would definitely recommend this beautiful location. Hope to return one day in the future.

Loved the place but man, the loop markings need some work. I tried to used the outside plug to trickle charge my Tesla twice and the 15 amp breaker reset each time but it took 15-20 minutes each time. This happened at our Yakima home as well as our home in Seattle we just moved into. I have a home charger with a dedicated 60 amp circuit that works just fine I use and the chargers are 15-20 or 30-40 minutes away into Nanaimo and work great.

What a time capsule of a home! Beautiful antique details fill the space and we thought it was very sweet the attention to detail to make us feel welcome in the space such as labelled kitchen, towels on the bed, and folded toilet paper edges! Was always quick to respond. Would be a very nice stay in the summer as we couldn’t utilize the pool this time of year.

We had a wonderful time at Judy’s place in Parksville. The property was fantastic. Clean, well-appointed, and great amenities. It was as described. Judy was great to deal with. Very responsive and helpful. One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at.

This unit is a great place to stay. Almost new so feels very welcoming and stylish yet comfortable. Lovely bedrooms, especially the primary which has a huge window with a fantastic water view. Bathrooms modern and functional. Beds very comfortable and linens and towels all fresh and nice. Liked having the bathroom downstairs as well for easy access and great laundry facilities. Good size balcony with a great bbq. The pool area is a great feature and we were fortunate with the September weather to get to use it. My husband also used the gym area a couple of times. Beach access isn't the best from this resort but you are a short walk or drive to the Provincial park access - 3 min drive. There are a couple of eating spots close by and a great spa experience just across the street. My hubby and I are already booked to go back next year!

This place was as advertised - clean, great location, and perfect for a family to stay!

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a cozy charm—perfect for our small Christmas gathering. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a festive and comfortable getaway!

We are long time users of AirBnB and for the most part most places we stay at now are managed properties with standard Ikea furniture and rather sterile. Liz and Hal's place is everything we like about AirBnB. Their home is personal, they are a warm and inviting couple that made us feel not like guests, but like friends. This is a rare experience these days but is the core essence about makes AirBnB so great. They built this lovely home themselves and are sharing their artistic creation with us is a gift. The home is large, comfortable, clean with a spectacular view, lots of natural light and is peaceful and private. Short drive to Sechelt for restaurants and supermarkets, the location is convenient to accessing hiking and nature walks. This is a rare and unique gem, we love Liz and Hal, and this is quite simply one of the best AirBnB experiences we've had in years! Highly Recommended!

Great location! Was clean and had everything we needed including games, we had a blast playing monopoly and loved having many books to choose from to read. Would defiantly stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of this unit. We were 3 adults and 3 kids along with 2 dogs - and it was quite comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. We appreciated being able to bring our animals and the gas fire place was a big bonus for us!

We really enjoy our time at Dyan's place. Close to town, nice view and easy to find. My only critique is that the kitchen could be better stocked with pots, pants and tools to cook. Other than that we had a wonderful time!

Ramona’s home was beautiful and honestly the best air bnb I’ve stayed at. Our stay felt like a proper retreat, the sauna and cold plunge tub were amazing. The hosts considered every little detail to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. :) we will be returning for sure!

This house is set up very well, with a beautiful view. There is so much to see and do in Nanaimo and this house is in a great location. Very well taken care of home. There were a couple questions I had upon arrival and the host was very quick to respond. As we had read in reviews before we went, ( but still inquired about the locked room 🥴) you only get to use the bedrooms you pay for and will be given a code for those. We had a wonderful family vacation 😊

Amazing house, grander than even the photos suggest and with Mark on site an excellent host and quick responsive communication. Highly recommended for larger groups.

Loved Eureka! It was a beautiful special place. Incredibly peaceful, quiet, literally right on the edge of the cliff and the beautiful park with amazing trails. So great to have a hot tub for the cool nights, so much space and privacy. The home was clean, welcoming with a great kitchen, used the bbq each night. Beaches and the market require driving (or a longer bike ride) which was the only thing that was not perfectly ideal for us, but mostly because we had 4 not yet driving teens who sometimes had different ideas about where they wanted to go. But everything on Hornby is close so it was a very minor issue for us and the beauty of the location made up for that!

The views were spectacular and the house was spotless and beautiful. Lots of space and beds for everyone, nice big dining table for family meals and the heated patio was amazing. We visited in November and enjoyed sitting out there and listening to the rain on the metal roof. We would definitely come back — everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! The hot tub was also a big hit.

Beautiful home, very friendly and responsive hosts. We stayed here in the fall for a couples getaway and it was perfect!

Everything about this vacation rental experience was just excellent.  Interacting with our host, Katie, was exceptional.  She was a wonderful communicator, and some extra special touches made us feel so welcome (snacks and drinks upon arrival, and a hand drawn happy birthday sign).  The home was just as described.  One of the most well-equipped vacation rentals we've seen, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and the location was perfect.  We would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a relaxing Gabriola vacation.  We would love to go back and stay again.
