House vacation rentals in Nanoose Bay

Loved the place but man, the loop markings need some work. I tried to used the outside plug to trickle charge my Tesla twice and the 15 amp breaker reset each time but it took 15-20 minutes each time. This happened at our Yakima home as well as our home in Seattle we just moved into. I have a home charger with a dedicated 60 amp circuit that works just fine I use and the chargers are 15-20 or 30-40 minutes away into Nanaimo and work great.

The place was amazing it was even more stunning inside than the pictures! I love how unique every piece of decor was and each room giving a different vibe. It would be a great group getaway place to stay. I would absolutely recommend the stay

We had a wonderful time at Judy’s place in Parksville. The property was fantastic. Clean, well-appointed, and great amenities. It was as described. Judy was great to deal with. Very responsive and helpful. One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at.

This unit is a great place to stay. Almost new so feels very welcoming and stylish yet comfortable. Lovely bedrooms, especially the primary which has a huge window with a fantastic water view. Bathrooms modern and functional. Beds very comfortable and linens and towels all fresh and nice. Liked having the bathroom downstairs as well for easy access and great laundry facilities. Good size balcony with a great bbq. The pool area is a great feature and we were fortunate with the September weather to get to use it. My husband also used the gym area a couple of times. Beach access isn't the best from this resort but you are a short walk or drive to the Provincial park access - 3 min drive. There are a couple of eating spots close by and a great spa experience just across the street. My hubby and I are already booked to go back next year!

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

The pictures don't really do justice to how beautiful this home is! It's spacious, modern, inviting, well-appointed, and convenient. Despite being right off of a major road (which is very convenient), the property is quiet and peaceful. The space available was entirely private - we never even had an inkling that we were sharing the property with anyone else. Check in was a breeze, and the entire experience was well supported by the owners. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again any time.

Loved Eureka! It was a beautiful special place. Incredibly peaceful, quiet, literally right on the edge of the cliff and the beautiful park with amazing trails. So great to have a hot tub for the cool nights, so much space and privacy. The home was clean, welcoming with a great kitchen, used the bbq each night. Beaches and the market require driving (or a longer bike ride) which was the only thing that was not perfectly ideal for us, but mostly because we had 4 not yet driving teens who sometimes had different ideas about where they wanted to go. But everything on Hornby is close so it was a very minor issue for us and the beauty of the location made up for that!

If you’re looking for relaxing and quiet, earning to cook some great meals and hang out by the fire and retire to your king beds for a restful sleep, then you’ve wound the place. We were very comfortable and every detail has been attended to, all kitchen gadgets and implements are there. You may wish to bring specialty spices beyond salt, pepper and sugar. If you forgot anything there is a well stocked local grocery store in Bowser, just 3-minutes away by car. We would gladly book again:) thanks Steph and Bryan.

Nina's place is STUNNING. It was spacious, clean, had beautiful views, and was right by the mall and a short drive from Departure Bay. It was the perfect space for a family with everyone having spaces of togetherness and privacy. Would definitely return!

Nicole’s “carriage house” is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc. Nicole has thought of everything you may need. We loved our 4 night stay and visit around the island, then to come back each day to relax at the carriage house. 10/10

What a gem! This home was a lovely, peaceful retreat for a family trip. The living room was cozy with its comfortable couch and fireplace, and the sunset view through the picture window was breathtaking. We particularly appreciated the artistic touches throughout the home and the Beachcomber coffee was a treat. Lauren was quick to respond, and provided lots of helpful information about the home and the area. We will definitely return!

This house is set up very well, with a beautiful view. There is so much to see and do in Nanaimo and this house is in a great location. Very well taken care of home. There were a couple questions I had upon arrival and the host was very quick to respond. As we had read in reviews before we went, ( but still inquired about the locked room 🥴) you only get to use the bedrooms you pay for and will be given a code for those. We had a wonderful family vacation 😊

Amazing house, grander than even the photos suggest and with Mark on site an excellent host and quick responsive communication. Highly recommended for larger groups.

A lovely guesthouse to stay in while on the island. The hosts were very welcoming and communicative during our stay. They were thoughtful in how prepared the space was and we felt right at home as a result. Will definitely be looking to stay again on our next trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Natalie and Riley provide a clean, comfortable, beautiful space. The kitchen is generously stocked and all our needs were met. Ours was a stormy weather stay and we were very cozy. They pay close attention to detail. Highly recommend.

This was an absolutely fantastic stay. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet and the view was stunning. Very close to Parksville and the village of Nanoose Bay was quaint and had all amenities you might need. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Nadine’s place is fabulous! It’s in the forest, it’s quiet, you can hear the critters (awesome) and can still play music and not bother anyone. Nadine was super helpful and kind. The place was thoughtful, well equipped as we wanted for nothing! Super comfy beds, great water pressure and everything was there when we needed it. I would defiantly stay again and recommend this place if you want to just lose yourself in nature, and breathe… and it’s air you can’t see, so coming from LA- that’s huge! Lol!! There are stairs to get up and down, but I took them as a challenge, and I won! Felt better too, actually! It might seem a bit far, but well worth the drive. It’s a gem and we will happily stay again. 5 stars to Nadine! And thank you! We loved every day we were there 🫶

Liz’s house is amazing. First, Liz is great. She’s warm, attentive, a quick communicator and an all-around nice and interesting woman. She has created a remarkable “retreat” in a large, comfortable, beautiful house. It’s a house with personality unlike some newer AirBnbs that are cookie cutter with zero personality. Extra special for the seven of us were the magical goats, the pregnant British Shepherd and other dogs and cats. We had so much fun feeding peanuts to the goats and giving treats to the dogs. The outdoor gardens are lovely and colorful. Three little barns in the distance and the perimeter of the house and deck are lit up at night with sweet lights! The kitchen has lots of good stuff that made our shopping easier, the bathrooms are well supplied with everything you could need. We loved the house and thought of it as home for our lovely week on Vancouver Island! Thanks Liz!!

Everything about this vacation rental experience was just excellent.  Interacting with our host, Katie, was exceptional.  She was a wonderful communicator, and some extra special touches made us feel so welcome (snacks and drinks upon arrival, and a hand drawn happy birthday sign).  The home was just as described.  One of the most well-equipped vacation rentals we've seen, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and the location was perfect.  We would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a relaxing Gabriola vacation.  We would love to go back and stay again.
