We had the most incredible stay at this ocean view house! The views of the mountains and ocean are truly breathtaking - we spent hours gazing out at the stunning scenery. And when night fell, the starry sky was simply magical. The surrounding area is quaint and charming, with a lovely quiet atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The town is easily walkable, with great coffee shops and markets just a short stroll away. And the beaches? Absolutely stunning, and just a stone's throw from the house! The house itself is beautifully designed, with two bathrooms and a separate toilet room for added convenience. The open-plan living space is perfect for socializing, and the deck overlooking the ocean is the ultimate spot for dinner or relaxation. We can't recommend this house highly enough - the price is incredibly reasonable, especially given the amazing views and amenities. We would definitely come back, and can't wait to do so!"

Great views, so quiet, lovely space.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Loved it. Beautiful beach views, and equipped with everything you need for a hassle free, relaxing stay. Close to beach, park and cafe/restaurants. Very lovely host. The front patio has the perfect view of the sunrise, with a spot to sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea. 10/10 would stay again!

My son and I had a lovely stay at Chanelle’s beach house. It is a cute retro cottage and styled perfectly with a casual beach shack vibe. Plenty of room for parking and both a front and back deck for relaxing. We came with our sneaky toy cavoodle who tried hard but failed to escape from the fully fenced back yard so bravo for that 😁 We also found the washing machine and dryer (Miele) extremely useful Chanelle was a fantastic host- friendly and thoughtful and I would love to come back again

One of the most peaceful beautiful places we’ve stayed. A short walk to the beach & in a lovely neighborhood. Great kitchen to cook in & very comfy beds. Hope to visit next year & stay here in Nambucca. Thanks Chris & Sharon for your helpful suggestions & brochures on places to see.

-close to the beach -the place is cosy, comfortable, and high on 60s vibe -loved the backyard set up with bbq, fire pit, and elevated eating area -mountain views are delightful

Great 3 bedroom unit with full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry, large living area with lounges, dining table & big screen TV. Also has a balcony with BBQ, outdoor table & views of Nambucca River from the balcony, living room & 2 of the bedrooms. Very clean. Modern kitchen with microwave, stove, oven & full sized fridge. Has a private garage with stairs to front door. Accommodation is walking distance to the RSL club, V wall, shops & restaurants. Really enjoyed the stay. Very relaxing listening to the ocean. We would stay here again.

The apartment is no frills but all you need for a great time in Scott’s head. The view is beautiful and the space was clean and well kept. Decent kitchen and great shower. The bed was also very comfy! Hosts left clear instructions. If you are travelling with kids, you do have to walk a bit on the road to get down to the shops/main beach. But this is a bit unavailable in Scott’s head. Overall a great stay and would stay again!

Everything was great about Sierra’s place. Great location and view, very clean, great communication about check in and out. Would definitely recommend.

Anna hosted us last minute after a double booking nightmare on another platform. very friendly and helpful, clear instructions, and greeted us on arrival. The apartment is so spacious and well laid out. It has everything you need, views are stunning, morning and evening. we spotted deer and many birds. It wasn't entirely clear to us that the apartment was the downstairs of a 2 storey house. it still feels quite private and seperate, but worth noting. We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay 😊

Second time we've stayed in Nambucca at Carol and Alan's. Great place to stay for our family, walking distance to lots of activities for the kids.

Thank you so much Ken for such a comfortable stay at your beautiful apartment & thank you also for the welcome chocolate (this was appreciated and enjoyed following a long day of travelling) The apartment was so well appointed with all the comforts of home. We had a couple of days with heavy rain so didn't get to venture out but this wasn't an issue as the apartment set up made it so easy to relax while enjoying the amazing views. From relaxing in the pool, followed by a spa in the main bathroom to cooking a BBQ while enjoying the stunning views, comfortable beds, fabulous water pressure in the shower and not to mention the beautiful cross breeze that flows throughout the apartment on a warm day (as the name suggests - Seabreeze, you definitely get this), we felt so relaxed at the end of our 5 night stay. For future visits to Nambucca Heads, we have now found our favourite place to stay. Thanks again.

Five of our family stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was clean and perfect for our needs and the location was excellent. The view was amazing. The communication with the hosts was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Grace’s place was impeccably clean, very welcoming, fully equipped and the beds were so comfortable. It’s a quick 2min drive to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to in Australia (only 450m to walk, but too hilly for our aged mum).
