One of the best house we've stayed in. Raymond and his wife are just a phone call away if you need anything and such great hosts. The house was spotless and spacious and the security makes you feel very safe. The kids loved the splash pool and the board games kept them entertained through the evenings. Would definately recommend

We loved our stay. We chose it for a mini family reunion with my brother and our two families got to meet and spend time together for the first time. The entertainment area and heated pool were an absolute hit given the sea is a bit chilly as expected on the West Coast. The house is really well designed and you can enjoy it no matter the weather. We all had our own space as well as our own en suite bathrooms which gave us ample privacy and comfort. Having Portia as the live in housekeeper was an added bonus to it all as it meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves with the extra help to tidy up each morning and to put all the sun loungers etc away at night. All and all even better than we thought it was going to be from the pictures. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Boardwalk with two other families and a bundle of kids. We immediately felt at home; the communal areas have a lovely flow & the kiddos were constantly in& out of the pool, & running down to the beach & back all weekend. The upstairs balcony views are sensational to wake-up to each morning, & we treasured falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night. We enjoyed two big braai evenings, ending sitting out on the deck under the stars together. It was a magical way to spend a big birthday weekend and we'd love to go back. Thanks for having us!

After spending time in some remote locations, Tarantula Guesthouse was the perfect soft landing. The house is incredibly spacious, kept wonderfully cool in the heat, and felt like a true home away from home. We loved the lovely braai area and the pool, which were a hit for both us and our kids. The property is very private from the other cottages, which made it even more relaxing. The full kitchen and access to all DSTV channels added to the convenience, allowing us to unwind completely. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even requested a late check-out because we didn’t want to leave! Hendrina was exceptionally kind, and communication was seamless from start to finish. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Looking forward to staying here again!

Melanie' place is EVERYTHING. Immaculate, spacious, welcoming and smells amazing. (I've never in my life bought diffuser reeds, but I rushed out to get her particular scent the moment I got home.) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Perfect location for a holiday with friends! We spent hours lazing on the porch, enjoying the peaceful scenery. The house is spacious and cool even in the summer heat, with a spacious kitchen for preparing big meals and a stunning patio and braai area for long lazy lunches.

Tertius was very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back. Beautiful home.

Cobus's place was wonderful, my family had the best time ever. We really liked the house, it is tastefully decorated and modern and the kitchen is well equipped. Bed linen was good, mattresses were firm and comfortable. The views of the dam were beautiful. My grandchildren liked the lawn area at the back to run around and play. Cobus was a great and friendly host, always available to answer a question and very "on the ball". We will be back again for a holiday. I can highly recommend this lovely house on the Clanwilliam Dam x

Lucy’s house is wonderful. The location is just far enough away from the hustle of the town centre, but close enough to walk to restaurants. The house is very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the braai room very much and had all our meals in there. There’s even a dartboard in there, which we enjoyed. The bedrooms are light and airy, the bathrooms have bath and shower options. The house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The alarm system is easy to use and the one time we did set it off, the security guy was there within a couple of minutes. Very secure! The beach is a 2 minute walk away. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Lucy and family for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Mark and Jules house is beautiful property. We loved how big the spaces and the incredible ocean view. Its very peacefull and walkable to the beach. our family will for sure come back here one day 🥰❤

Kobus’s place was open plan and spotless. Amenities described in the listing were all available and in working order. We appreciated the milk, water, rusks and wine Jenny and Kobus provided. Jenny was very accommodating to our check in and out times and she was very responsive. The direct pathway to the beach was the cherry on top.

Staying at Louise’s house in Paternoster was magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt enveloped in coastal charm, welcomed by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread. Mornings on the patio with coffee were unforgettable, wrapped in blankets as the light danced across the sea, the sound of waves soothing us into the day. Inside, every detail is cared for, from soft linens to a beautifully equipped kitchen perfect for cosy meals. Louise’s thoughtfulness is woven into every corner, making it more than a place to stay – it’s a peaceful retreat that feels like home, with the beauty of Paternoster right at your door. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a coastal sanctuary.

Really a great stay in this family house, full of nice objects (even a piano), and the must is to spend some time on the outside beds, watching the stars ! Peaceful stay.

We loved our stay as it was the perfect way to break our journey from the Orange River back to Cape Town. The house was perfect and the kids loved all the extras from being part of the Oukip Country lodge. We will come again and recommend to friends on route to Namibia or back

Brilliant 5 bedroom 2 storey house. I was there alone for a few days. Loved it. Close to sea , close to town. Everything about it was good and safe . Every appliance in house was in working order. I could happily stay for weeks in that house. 100% recommended ! Nice long beach just a short drive away and Elands bay not too far either.

A lovely beachside home with comfortable beds and quality linen (so important for me) The kitchen was well equipped and everything we needed was there. I also loved that it was dog friendly so my beloved hounds could join. The house is close to the beach so great to just walk out the door. We will be back again soon.

We loved our stay at Tanya's home. The decor was quirky and classy and the place was spotless, with a great selection of books, puzzles and games. Its location is perfect, across the road from the beach and the property is very private with a well established, lush garden. The kitchen has all manner of utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware and with 2 fridges, our food and drinks stayed cold throughout our stay. The enclosed patio made for some fun braai's every night and an outdoor shower allowed us to rinse off after our daily surfing. Tanya was very communicative and the check-in and -out process was easy. We were disappointed that there was no wi-fi, as it was specifically stated in the description that 'we have wifi'. It was also extremely hot during our stay, and we felt that a table or floor fan in each room would have made it a bit more comfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon.

We had an amazing stay at Dave’s place. The home is situated in a cul de sac which was great as there was no traffic and was quiet throughout our stay. The home is perfectly positioned on the beach and was lovely to sit and watch the sea and bird life from the patio. Our check in with Tania was great and check out was easy. Thank you for letting us use your home, we will be back again soon.

The property was exactly as described, clean and well worth the rental price. Checking in and out was a breeze, thank you Malande (facilitator). The property was well equipped and all essentials were provided, three braais had us spoiled for choice with access to the beach within less than a minute's walk. Thank you Sameena and Malande for providing a long remembered stay at St Helena Bay.

We had a wonderful stay "At the Beach"! Really nice sunset views and we even saw some Dolphins. Perfect place to relax and spend a few days with friends. Would totally recommend even though a few renovations works could be done.
