We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home nestled in the Cederberg mountains. The setting is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and full of breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The house itself is charming, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. You can really feel the care that’s been put into it. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg in comfort and tranquility.

Toren Farm was a wonderful peaceful stay. We went with our two girls 6yrs & 9 yrs who loved the open space, the hot tub, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and the nearby river to swim in. My husband and I have been to a few Airbnb's and Toren Farm's kitchen was by far the best equipped we have seen. The house is very spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. When we arrived we couldn't find matches or firelighters but Ansofie was quick to respond and come and brought us some, even gifting us more firewood in the process. We loved the little touches such as the nyummy chocolates on arrival, the individual blankets in the lounge, the abundance of towels and useful adapters. It all made our stay cosy and enjoyable. We could have easily stayed longer. Thanks again!

I want to share my impressions of our weekend in a lovely house we rented with friends. The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The nature around was simply breathtaking: green forests and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed morning walks and evening gatherings on the terrace. Huge thanks to Jane for her hospitality and care. This weekend left us with only positive emotions, and we will definitely come back!

Aaron is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming. i immediately felt at home. the farm has amazing views, hiking, swimming, and climbing, not to mention the adorable mini horses and orchards full of fruit. i’ll definitely be coming back :)

Absolutely loved our weekend in Banghoek Private Nature Reserve at Darren and Matt’s place (perfect hosts!). The house is stunning: stylish yet cosy, with beautiful views and so peaceful. We spent the weekend hiking, swimming in the rockpools (amazing!), braaiing and star-gazing - and best thing, we got to bring our dog too! We’ll be back! 🙏

We really enjoyed our stay. The Cottage gives you a real secluded and peaceful experience. The surrounding hills are incredibly beautiful and we saw some interesting birds and other small animals. We loved being able to take our 2 dachshunds along and they loved exploring around the area. The braai area is great and the kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable beds and couches. All in all a lovely experience.

What an absolute gem. Perfectly charming house. Attention to details. the surroundings of nature's is so peacefull. Waking up at the sound of birds and the springboks outside the window. The damn was absolutely perfect to cool off. Second time here and not the last.

If tranquility was a place…… Our stay at House Kuru was exceptional. Comfy, clean beds and a clean unit, nature at your doorstep. The aircon was a life saver and the outside shower an absolute treat! The surroundings are breathtaking and the many hiking and swimming opportunities at your doorstep are amazing. Matthys is very responsive and his team is lovely. Receptionist was super friendly at check. There’s a little store with some goodies if you happen to forget something. We’ll definitely be back!

This Place is incredible. I stayed there with my friends for the weekend and we were all impressed by the beautiful nature, silence and the very friendly Renshaw who was hosting us. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures and clean. If you are looking for a quiet place to come down this is the perfect one. Hardly recommended, for families and friend groups.

We’ve been traveling across South Africa for a few months, and this stay was by far the best experience we've had. The hosts Nicolene and Wessel were incredibly welcoming, the house is brand new and spotless, with a lush garden and breathtaking views over the mountains, goats, horses, and the lake. A truly unforgettable moment shared with my two children. Thank you again – we’ll definitely be back. 110% recommended!

Wonderful stay, friendly helpful hosts, they went over and above making the cottage comfortable for guests.. homemade bread, rusks, coffee etc. Huge bathroom with lovely soaps, creams etc. and pristine. We loved our short stay here and enjoyed the farm setting and walks. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is an incredibly special place that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful city escape. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself is a true gem—thoughtfully designed and beautifully styled, with every detail carefully considered. Anita, our host, was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations for local activities, including hikes, private wine farm visits, and much more. She even went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item we accidentally left behind. Truly, everything about this experience was a 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay in the old farm house and really enjoyed exploring the surroundings of the farm, hiking and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The dogs were als so sweet and friendly and the entire vibe at the farm is so relaxed and peaceful.

A wonderfully beautiful and serene home nestled in the countryside and with lovely views over the water below. It looks even better than the pictures if that were possible. The home is very well equipped and we were struck by all the thoughtful touches in terms of what was provided. The walks/trail runs around the home are just lovely with gorgeous views and lovely traditional fynbos. Very much recommended.

It was our third time staying at Melanie's place - we just love how peaceful it is and the house with the garden is just beautiful. The hot tub was great for us and the kids. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to get out of the city and in need of a peaceful retreat.
