Beautiful house. Great staff! We had a great time. Kathleen was helpful even from abroad and the staff who live on site were well trained. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kampala or anyone who lives here who is looking for a little staycation.

I chose franks place because of its close proximity to Acacia Mall and the many night clubs on Acacia Avenue. I did check out franks place before I went and knew then that it was back off the main road and very quiet.

Ernest's Nest is a perfect hideout with a vantage viewpoint overlooking the beautiful, little-known suburbs of Kampala. The place was as advertised and more--with unique architecture and a homely feel. Great value for money and a perfect host!

It was a great spacious place to stay in a good neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We opted for the chef for breakfast the food and service were great. Would return again someday.

My family and I had an incredible time in this beautiful home! We created wonderful memories that we’ll cherish forever. Carolyn and Junior were exceptionally helpful and flexible, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property caretakers were also fantastic. Our adult children and grandchildren absolutely loved the swimming pool—it was the highlight of their trip! The location was very private, safe, and quiet, providing the perfect retreat for our family. I can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip to Uganda. A peaceful, quiet, relaxing home away from home

This was the first time to rent an Airbnb place to stay. The place is safe, quiet and clean. The owner has great customer service skills. He communicates well and listened carefully to us when we had some little concerns. He also provided some other services that we dididn't expect to get. I would highly recommend this place to those who need a nice place to stay while they are in Kampala for either business or family travels.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space is exactly as described online—serene, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere is even more relaxing when you turn off the main lights for a cozy movie night. The host is incredibly responsive, and the self-check-in and check-out process was seamless. The internet is fast and reliable, with no interruptions, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kampala, and I’ll be booking here again on my next trip.

The hosts were great. Their responding to communication was top notch. Their co-host Phelan was exceptionally kind and courteous. That simple gesture of finding a cold Pepsi and Water in the fridge provided for by the host was above words can explain. It is the simple things that count most! Fantastic place as always, was booked on behalf of my nephew and he was really pleased with everything and the staff is very friendly.

After our previous stay, this time we stayed even longer. Once again it’s been very pleasant. By and large we can repeat what we wrote in Oct 2023, so please feel free to refer to that one. Obviously a longer stay means there’s more room for problems to occur. While hosts Allan/Joan are always responsive and helpful, sometimes a problem is beyond their control. We’ve had some power, internet, water issues, and the fixes were a bit slow due for the most part to incompetent staff. We like this compound, this unit, and the location, but it helps to know that quite a variety of things can go wrong in this compound and the fix may take longer than you’d expect. Despite that, we consider this unit great value for money, and the majority of our time here was great.

Ashley was great - responsive and very helpful. The apartment was absolutely fantastic: clean, tidy and well equipped. Cleaner came in on my second day which was great. Location is very convenient for Kisementi and Acacia Mall. Easy to get a Boda Boda (recommend via SafeBoda app). Good internet access and great views of the city from the rooftop. The place is also secure with guarded gates 24/7. The area is very safe too. I will be hoping to stay here next time I am in Kampala. Thanks Ashley!
