Is has been so special staying in omachi with a bunch of wonderful friends. It was a very peaceful and quiet place surrounded by nature We could reach the nearest station by foot and chie was very helpful with taxi numbers and other recommendations She was so lovely and easy to communicate with The house itself was a very special experience for all of us The bedrooms did get really cold at night and in the morning but heaters and heated blankets were provided The communal space was incredibly beautiful, there was everything one could ask for, a big table, fireplace and well equipped kitchen with a lovely selection of pottery You can tell the owners put a lot of love into their home We had lots of snow while we stayed and it transformed the surrounding area in a winter wonderland Highly recommend staying here with your loved ones for a cozy, calm and precious time

Miwa's place is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Japan's megacities. The house and neighborhood genuinely make you slow down and relax as you enjoy the slower pace of the countryside. Miwa and her mother were responsive and incredibly helpful. They prepared a book for you detailing nearby recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The house is comfortable and the amenities are generous. I highly recommend staying here if you would like to slow down a little bit and relax. Miwa's house is also conveniently located near some of the post towns of the Nakasendo trail like Magomejuku and Tsumagojuku.

Adam personally welcomed us when we arrived to show us around the house, and provided us with local recommendations. We loved how spacious the place was, with an entertainment room on the upper floor. Despite the cold winter, there were more than enough heaters around the entire house to keep us warm. The water heater in the house also worked really well, and we never had to worry about not having access to warm water from the taps.

The house is amazing. It is beautiful and comfy. Rooms are big enough to open our luggages. There is one shower indoor and one shower outdoor. We took bath at outdoor even when it was snowing :D You may park 2 cars in front of the house. So going out for meals or shopping is very convenient. All of my friends love it and saying that they would have book it again if they go snowboarding next time!! The response are always fast. Reuben, the manager, is funny and helpful. Just raise your question and he can help you for sure <3

I was very polite and I was able to use it with peace of mind. We would also love to visit you during the beautiful season of cherry blossoms in spring.

This was my second stay, but I had a great stay as ever. I'd love to stay next year with the thoughtfulness of the host everywhere.

Exactly what we wanted. A private place with powder snow, private indoor onsen and private outdoor onsen surrounded by snow and nature. We spent 2 nights and did not go out. We did grocery shopping at the supermarket recommended by host before arriving. We bought pizza cheese and toppings, vegetables and meats and had all our meals at the listing. We had a really memorable time. Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday. And we definitely want to come again!

This is a great place to stay! I highly recommend this place. This is not a "hotel", it's a clean, well organized old house. That mean.. 1. this house has lots of rooms. it's really great that people can have private space to stay during trip. 2. We shared 2 bathrooms. sometimes you need to wait for the bath. 3. Things are not "new", but everything works fine. 4. the place is really really cool. it's a place where you felt like you have chance to experience a different life style rather than just find a hotel to sleep. 5. Gabriel reply really fast during the stay. answered a lot of my questions. overall, this is a great place

We stayed here with 15 people and loved it! Lianne was very helpful answering all our (many) questions and even helped us with postage for forgotten items. The view here is breathtaking especially when it snows, and has a ski slope just behind the premises. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying with large groups like ours.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

The grounds and house were very spacious, and my 3-year-old daughter was very excited and very happy. The view from the window was also stunning, and it was a full trip so much that I didn't want to go home in an extraordinary space. It was a very cold day when it snowed, but it was very warm and I had a pleasant time in the room because it was a well-insulated house. The host was also very kind to guide us, and we had a relaxing stay. I want to use it again!

It was clean, fully equipped with amenities, and kitchenware, and I had a comfortable stay with a spacious and convenient floor plan.

I used it for the second time! We visit the cottage every year during Christmas time, and I think this is the best place. It is almost the same as two years ago!! We had a relaxing time while looking at the fireplace. It was a happy time this year. I would like to visit in the summer⭐.

Nataria’s place is beautiful and clean. The lodge looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The airbnb is located in a very quiet and beautiful forest. Tourist attractions are easily reachable as well which made this the perfect place to stay. Nataria was very welcoming and flexible. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed with 11 company friends and had a great experience. The response in advance was also very quick, and I think it was very cheap considering the Karuizawa market. The water, bedroom, bedding, etc. are also very clean, and we would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity. The wood stove was also an unusual experience, and all members were delighted with the experience.

The environment is comfortable and peaceful, there is a big supermarket and convenience store nearby Great communication with the owner, quick and clear responses
