Forget-me-not Cottage with Sea & Countryside views

RodneyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Lisa and Graham were exceptionally friendly from the start, but allowed us our privacy while we were there. Lovely touch having local biscuits and milk on arrival. Linen and towels in the bedrooms were lovely and fresh. The water is supplied from a local spring, and was delicious, and power from solar panels. The view from the kitchen/lounge was amazing - cute goats, sheep and donkeys just outside the door, and views over the hills to the sea. Watching the sunrise was lovely. The "Scratching Post" games room was fun, with fresh eggs and drinks available to buy and a pool table. Bring 50p coins! Really close to lots of walks - either straight from the door to Boggle Hole, or a short drive from Falling Foss with a beckside forest walk. Close enough to drive to Whitby for fish and chips, or Thorpe Stores in Fylingthorpe for a fresh bacon buttie from the friendly local shop. We'd love to come back and stay again.

Bel air The hideaway

Amazing little space that gives you everything you need. A short walk to the Brid Spa and there's a premier Inn just down the street for a breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. Amazing host, kept well informed during the full process.

Character 5 bedroom property

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really lovely home. This place was perfect for a group of 10 friends visiting the York Christmas markets. Ideal location in a small town but with buses into York. Beautiful interior and everything was very clean and tidy with everything you need and more to feel at home. Karen sent really helpful details ready for arrival and was quick to respond to any queries. Would definitely recommend and also stay again!

Rosedale Light Shepherds Hut!

DaleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The shepherd's hut was very comfortable. It was located on a peaceful farm not too far from the Lion's Inn on Blakey Ridge and the C2C walk. The beds were so comfortable, we could easily regulate the temperature (there was a wood burning stove and wood for heat), and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The only draw back was that the bathroom was in a separate building, which made showering and using it at night a little less convenient. However, this didn't takeaway from our great experience and Maggie provided a flashlight and other pathway lighting to make it easier. I would definitely stay here again.
