Cannot recommend Alek’s cottage enough, it is beautiful, calm and cosy. The cottage was warm, felt immediately safe and homely. It was located 25-30 minutes easy drive on good roads to Durmitor national park, not to mention lots of other stuff. The views… just wow. Lots of little thoughtful bits that just really made a difference. Alek was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. He was honest that the last 1.5km from the main road to the cottage is a little tricky, but honestly, if you just take it slow it’s fine, it’s not steep or dangerous - just a gravel road that he made us fully aware of. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Active days, slow mornings with coffee and a view on the porch and cosy evenings with great wi-if & a TV full of options. Stay here!

A truly unforgettable stay. Danka is an incredibly kind, warm and generous host, eager to share the very special and unique way of ‘katun’ life with her guests. Her place was the last stop on our trip and we so wished we had stayed longer. Biogradska Gora was our favourite part of Montenegro and we will forever remember Danka and her mother’s hospitality. Don’t let the reviews about the road deter you, it’s only 6km and we drove it safely in the dark and the rain. Take your time, or hire a 4WD as we did for some extra power and comfort. The road less travelled is always worth it!

Wonderful stay. Great location near city center. Sam met us when we arrived and gave great info on everything needed. Great reserved parking under cover, modern set up with clean and brand new apartment. Everything was provided to have a wonderful short or long stay. Kitchen well equipped. Sam who helped us was always reachable for information, including going to wonderful restaurants close by. This place is highly recommended. It snowed when we were there so it was a winter Wonderland that was an unexpected fantastic surprise. We will go back every year, especially during ski season

Very nice cottage, spacious, all clean with everything you need as at home, small garden all clean, easy access, parking with store nearby, very nice exotic place with a very nice VUK with very honest advice on things to do or not to do. If we had had nice weather and not stony and rainy, this stay at Vuk's would have been memorable. Thanks to him for the suggestion of the restaurant at the top of the Canyon, the Eagle's nest is delicious, with very warm people and exceptional views.

Very nice!!! There is no ac in home and was hot during the day when we were there.
