Although it’s located within the village, it’s surrounded by trees and pretty isolated. It’s been completely remodeled with a comfortable living area with sleeper sofa, up to date kitchen, laundry and bathroom with tile shower and double sinks. Relaxing front porch and patio with fire pit top off the experience.

Everything was exactly as advertised. It’s a very basic cabin, it may not have everything you want but it has everything you NEED. Part of the price is really for the beautiful land and scenery all around. If you’re expecting a spa in the wilderness, this isn’t for you - but if you want a nice little home base for being outdoors or hunting, this is a GREAT spot. Thanks to our host for being so responsive and communicative throughout our entire stay!

We had a great time at the place in South Zanesville! Great House! I brought my wife and daugher to visit my Mom, and we all stayed at the place. My Mom lives in a senior apartment, and she is a wheelchair user. She can walk small distances but relies on the chair most of the time. We chose this place to accommodate her. It was easy for her to get in and out of the house. The listing says there are a couple steps to get to the side door, but it didn't feel like it. And you can open the garage door to enter if those steps seemed questionable. Everything was on 1 floor, so that worked out really well for her. We were expecting her to sleep on the bed in the bedroom, but it was too high for her to use. She ended up on the pull out sofa bed. The shower wasn't very accessible for her. She typically uses a walk in shower. The shower in this unit has a seat, but the step into the tub was too high for her. We were happy with the place, and my mom got her much needed grandaughter time!

Carl was a fantastic host. I booked this on the day of arrival which I imagine is a bit of a pain for hosts. However, both Carl and the property were incredible. The cabin was perfect for a nice, quiet night in the country. It was well cared for and stocked and the bed was comfortable. Carl has a store and supplies for items you may have forgotten or things you might need for your stay. I purchased a bag of charcoal to cook a nice dinner under the stars. Beautiful, remote country with plenty of room for my dog to run and explore. Thanks for a great stay!

Such a gem! Micah and his wife are outstanding hosts. My husband and I came from Wisconsin to Ohio for the Lost Lands music festival and wanted to find something within 30 minutes of the festival grounds. I had messaged Micah before booking to ask a few questions about location, etc and he was very quick to respond with helpful answers to all my questions, and very accommodating by giving us the okay to check in early. The bus is super cute inside, clean, cozy and very functional. They've really made use of the space well. The decor is thoughtfully put together, with extras like soft towels, snacks and coffee for you to use. We absolutely loved our stay and experience. Highly recommend! You don't often find little hidden gems like this with such wonderful hosts.
