Waterfront vacation rentals in Muonio

Everything as expected, Peti and Juha were communicating promptly and efficiently, everything was sorted easily.

We really liked this cottage. The rooms (one with a door and the other with just curtain) have twin beds but you can easily push them together. There are electricity plugs right next to beds and plenty of hangers to hang your things. There is an amazing rocking chair, table for 6 to comfortably eat. Bathroom is attached to the main space, you only have to take 2 steps outside to get there. There is everything you might need: hairdryer, coffee maker, there was even a powder to wash your clothes in the washing machine. Sauna is comfy, pre chopped wood ready for you to enjoy. There were even sledges we could borrow (and slide down the little hill). We could see the northern lights the first night, beautiful stars. Loved this place, would definitely recommend and come back if I could.

Amazing house, amazing place. What a beautiful outdoor experience

Great place, very responsive and helpful host

The cottage was located in a beautiful, secluded yet open and quiet part of Kittilä where our children of 6 and 8 could happily play outside. The house was warm, cosy and inviting with all the amenities that you could reasonably expect from an Airbnb home (great WiFi too which is important nowadays!). In addition to Katariina’s great communications and responsiveness replies, she went the extra yards to provide a lovely Christmas surprise for our kids and was unbelievably efficient/quick in get someone round to change a fuse during Christmas! The cottage was perfect for us, with Katariina as the host being the “icing on the cake” - thank you so much and we look forward to returning one day! Marja is a great host. The place was cozy and very comfortable. Our stay fell on the month of January, it was a perfect timing. Frozen lake, so we could walk on it with a snowshoes that she has in the house! Beautiful polar night, we’ve seen aurora lights 2 times. Place is secluded which makes it perfect for a peaceful vacation in wilderness, with great comfort. Marja helped us a lot starting from the beginning, she helped us with transport, suggested great excursions, suggested on the clothes and all other little things that came up. She was great and very fast to respond. Her place is magical and she is a very thoughtful host. She provided drinking water and heating, wood, the cabin is well equipped, and instructions are clear. Finnish sauna she has by the lake is one of the greatest experiences we did! 100% recommended!

Such a beautiful accommodation. Short car ride to Levi centre. Approx 7min. Perfect location to see the aurora. It has that touch of serenity without being too remote. There was a Christmas tree which was a really lovely touch. Host was responsive and helpful leading up to our booking and throughout our stay. Highly recommend.
