Catherine's Cottage @ Ross Castle Galway

AlannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was the most wonderful place to stay and we could hardly bear to leave. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and homely and as for the swimming pool, the billiards room and the grounds, we could not get enough. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to go out in the boat - we'll just have to come back. Thank you, Marshall, for being so welcoming and hospitable.

Kinvara Garden Cottage

We had a lovely quiet Christmas at Frank’s cottage. It was easy to get to even with public transport. We felt instantly at home. The sitting room was cosy. We especially enjoyed having the fire. We did a bunch of cooking. Kitchen had everything we needed. Frank has clearly put a lot of thought into the details and is a great host.

3 Bedroom Chalet

KateRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Myself and my husband only stayed two nights at Fiona's place, but could definitely have stayed more. The cottage is warm and cosy, whilst also spotlessly clean and neat. The log burner was so welcoming and Anne (Fiona's mum) was happy to stock up on fuel again and even offered to come and light the fire for us the following day. Anne met us on arrival (their house is next door) and showed us around, but after that respectfully left us to our own devices. The cottage is in a beautiful remote spot, but both the pub (a great experience) and Spar are within a 10/15 min walk at the top of the lane. Going in Feb meant the weather was not on our side but the cottage is so inviting, we were happy to stay cosied up, under the blankets provided, in front of the fire. Will definitely be back, for longer next time, so we can take the ferry to the Aran Islands (we were just too lazy this time!) which this cottage is so handy for.

The Lodge at The Silver Mine

Jay Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Myself, my wife our 9yr old and family dog stayed at Ruth's lodge for 4 days! We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was so cosy and the view was amazing! They had everything we needed! The beds were so comfy! The kitchen had anything we needed to cook! The shower was very nice! Heating was easy to work and the lodge heated up very quickly! I would recommend this stay if you want peace and quiet away from the world! We were left alone but we knew if we needed anything we could contact Ruth! Shops near by and some takeaways also! We will definitely stay again! It would be amazing in the summer! Thank you Ruth 🩷

Courtyard Cottage

Another wonderful stay in Ivor’s cottage. Everything was as perfect as before. Ivor couldn’t have been a better host, and the cottage itself was as cosy and welcoming as my first trip. The cottage was spotless and has every amenity you could possibly need in a trip away. We were in the area on a wildlife photography trip and the cakes and tea provided was just what we needed when we arrived in late in the evening.

This is my second time staying at the stables and it never disappoints! The place is clean and cozy and the bed and pillows are very comfortable, fully functioning kitchen, modern shower and a very relaxing place to stay. The location is very good aswell if youre planning on visiting galway city, its away from the hustle and bustle but very drivable! The hosts are very welcoming and always ready to reply if you need anything, they were very generous for giving us fresh eggs from their coop aswell which seal the deal! Highly recommend this place for a nice getaway/staycation!

Luxury Village Retreat

ShawnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Came for a few days in January. The property is amazing. We only had 4 people but it would be comfortable for many more. We used the property as a home base as we explored Southern Ireland and it worked out perfectly. Loved being able to walk to the local pub, was a must have for us and it was ideal. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again for next trip to the area.

Charming one-bedroom cottage close to Kinsale

LindsayRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. The photos don’t really do it justice, particularly the beautiful surroundings. Nicky was very generous in all the bits she provided on arrival and we received a warm welcome from her and Buster, the dog. Her recommendations of where to go and what to do were excellent and all we needed. Super comfy bed, loads of towels, plenty of heaters although we didn’t need any. Very convenient for Kinsale and the airport. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, clean space with everything you need for your stay. Check-in instructions were beyond clear and the best we've received with an AirB&, including photos and directions as you get closer. The space was private and we loved our stay. The hosts made us feel welcome and at home. Easy drive to Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, and other local attractions. Five stars all around.

We had a lovely stay in Greg's place.the houses were spotlessly clean and and all the little start up items to make it an easy transition, tea bags, cooking oil, face cleanser etc.The pool was a great size. The grounds are beautiful -quite exotic for Ireland.Although Greg lived on the grounds we felt it was a v private space for our family and yet he was in the background ensuring we wanted for nothing.Tks again for a wonderful stay.Julie and Family

Carmel's View to Roaring Water Bay

MichałRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Airbnb was great! The location is truly the star of the show. It's nestled in a beautiful and peaceful area that felt like a true escape. Waking up to that amazing view every morning was a real treat. What I loved most was the proximity to the water. Being able to go for a swim nearby, even in the winter, was a huge bonus and speaks to the incredible location. Just a heads-up – the place is very small, as you can clearly see from the pictures provided by the host. However, this wasn't a problem for us (a couple + 2 years old child). Finally, a unique and charming aspect of this location is the presence of donkeys. If you're an animal lover, this will definitely add a touch of character to your stay!

This lovely apartment was perfect for us and the warm welcome that we received from Hetty was wonderful. A food hamper was provided including home made oat bread. Hetty also provided us with helpful tips on where to visit and eat etc. The apartment is situated in a quiet area just a walk away from the quaint little town of Clonakilty. The beaches at Inchydone are amazing and only a few kilometres away. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. No hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Hetty’s place for your stay in County Cork.
