Cosy cottage/kitchen/washing machine/parking/WiFi

DanielRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This spot is exactly what you would imagine when you think of a stay in rural Ireland. Cows graze in a pasture across the road, and the entire place is surrounded by rolling hills. Extremely cozy, with a wood stove, comfy couches, and lots of blankets. Stephanie was very welcoming, and gave us lots of great recommendations in the area. While very rural, the cottage isn't remote, as many major attractions including the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty castle are a 30-60 minute drive away. Make sure to check out the town of Ennis while you're in Feakle.

"Stable Cottage"

KieranRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was wonderful, located a short 20 minute walk from Ballycullane, Helen and Frank had supplied snacks and breakfast supplies such as bacon eggs and pudding, as-well as coffee, juice and cereal! The cottage was comfortable and even included a fire place with wood and coals to light it ! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Purcells@Knockdrinna, charming cottage in village

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had such a lovely stay at this charming old Irish cottage! The host was fantastic – super friendly, great with communication, and provided clear instructions that made everything easy. The cottage itself has a rustic, rural charm, with a cozy stove and logs thoughtfully supplied – perfect for relaxing in the peaceful countryside setting. It was also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. One of the highlights was the warm welcome: we arrived to find homemade scones, butter, and jam waiting for us – such a thoughtful touch. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, authentic escape

Experience a friendly stay Galway Countryside

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My partner and I stayed at Martina’s for 1 night as we made our way up to Northern Ireland from Cork and are so happy that we did. Martina was responsive, friendly, helpful, and flexible as we ended up getting in much later than expected. She was generous and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her place allowed us to slow down for a night and enjoy the peaceful serenity of her and John’s farm before another day of travel. We got to experience John’s cattle up close and it was a highlight of our vacation. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area for an authentic, welcoming, and relaxing farm stay.

The Stables Kiltanon House Tulla Clare V95 A3W6

BrentRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful stay by Paul and Joan! It's a very unique property that was nicely converted into a peaceful little abode. There was plenty of beautiful space outdoors to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or take a morning stroll. Paul and Joan were very helpful with things to do in the area as well as helpful directions on how to get there. Joan even arranged a tour for us with a local guide to give us a break from driving. It was amazing and I would highly suggest. We were able to see Connemara, Cliffs of Moher and the Burren easily from the location. We would definitely stay again. The refrigerator stocked with morning staples as well as a cozy fire when we returned in the evening made this place even more special.

Stylish Georgian Stable Yard Studio Apartment

RossRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Really enjoyed my stay at James place! It was so peaceful and relaxing! A lot of work has gone into setting the Georgian theme of the place and he has got it spot on! Also has your modern necessities to insure your stay is comfortable! I enjoyed the walk through the grounds, really made me feel at home being from the countryside myself! I found it so handy that they have a restaurant on site and the food was amazing! All of the staff at James place were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again! Thanks James for the lovely time!

The Coach House 5 star property

InezRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were a group of 8 staying at the Coach House for an annual get-together and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The surroundings are very picturesque and peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the village and at Woodstock House & Arboretum. The house itself is fantastic with a large well equipped kitchen for our meals and a very warm spacious living room to chill out in. Daniel was most welcoming and helpful. I'd recommend the Coach House to anyone looking for a private, comfortable, scenic holiday home in the South-East!

The Barn.

JackRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We spent a great week as a family of five at The Barn. The space is comfortable, warm and clean, and the setting is lovely. It’s a great place to explore Clare, Limerick, Lough Derg and Galway, and beyond, with plenty of day trips within driving distance. The renovation of the barn as a holiday home is really well executed and you get a real sense of the project, with photographs etc detailing its progress. Zita was an attentive and communicative host.

Dun Oir Den

NiamhRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I had such a wonderful stay at Mary’s place; it was the peaceful escape I needed. The location is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views and a real sense of calm. The accommodation itself was spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully put together. Everything I needed was there, and it was clear that much care had gone into making it a comfortable and welcoming space. Mary was a truly lovely host. She is warm, friendly, and always happy to chat or help with anything. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was getting to meet her lamb (who completely stole my heart!) as well as Oscar the cat and the donkeys. Feeding the lamb really added a special touch to the experience and made it feel that bit more personal and unique. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break in beautiful surroundings, with a kind-hearted host and a few adorable animals to meet along the way, this is the perfect spot. I’d absolutely recommend it and would love to return in the future.

The Long Shed, secluded, unique with private beach

ElenaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wonderful week at The Long Shed. Sara and Gidi are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. It is in a secluded and beautiful area with stunning views and a great feel to it. My two cousins and I had a great time talking and laughing while sitting around the kitchen table having breakfast, or wine, or while relaxing at the table outside. So much history; not just in the area, but in the building where we stayed. Thank you Sara and Gidi for opening up your home to us and making us feel so welcome. And the scones were amazing! We hope to see you again! Elena

Lovely converted stables in quiet rural area. Even on a cold night, it was cosy with the help of the heaters. we had a short power outage and Ultan provided candles and information. A short drive from Kilmore Quay and it's wonderful beach and dune walks and restaurants . Thanks Ultan for a perfect getaway.

Rural Rustic Restored Hayshed .

Peaceful location, we loved waking up to hear the birds and new-born lambs. There's a lovely walk to the lake, and also a great local. And Inch beach and Dingle town are both a short drive away. Great base for exploring and Cait was very helpful and shared her recommendations. The place is cosy, kitchen has everything you need, and so lovely to have a piano and record player and a nice book selection.

Queenies lodge , a stunning getaway, Co Kilkenny

EilishRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent a long weekend in Bernie’s celebrating a significant birthday. Three generations of family together & Bernie’s ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort & rest. Our granddaughter loved the outdoors, the treehouse, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, the games room, the animals. We got a taxi to Killkenny for dinner one evening but otherwise self catered & the kitchen is very well equipped. And we had excellent pizzas done on the bbq. Windgap is a very peaceful rural area & perfect place to getaway. I would recommend it highly.

We stayed in one of the small cottages on the location. The house itself is comfortable with a large , comfortable, and cozy living dining area. Three good size bedrooms, two with en-suites and one with the use of the main bathroom. A very well equiped kitchen inlcuding washer and dryer. Basic spices and enogh food to start the first days. The views are spectacular, farmland, friendly cows and in the background the the town of Corofin and the Burren in the further distance. Easy drive to the nearby town of Ennis, with all ammenities ( groceries etc) and good restaurants. Des is a very friendly and helpful host. We fellt well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Castle Freke Estate, The Stable Cottage

KarenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was very ample, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We had so much space! We loved the dogs, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, cows, and cat The walk to the ocean was marvelous and we loved walking along the beach. The grounds are amazing: castles and a beautiful family church from years ago. But the best were the people! Kristina and her family were so welcoming and helpful to us; we really appreciated them!

Irene’s place was the ideal home away from home, with close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher and Ennis Town with a car. Making the location an ideal location for those looking to get away from the city/town feel and still be close for tourist attractions. The home is comfy and well equipped with items to help one feel at home. Loved having a kitchen and separate living area from rooms.
