Vacation rentals in Munroe Island

The house is a peaceful heaven. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony all day, reading, overlooking the water, while a small breeze was blowing the whole time. In the morning, old songs from the radio are carried across the water, while you can see the sun rise. We had an amazingly relaxing stay, with Arun and Jeela always only a message away. Me and my wife were on a workation stay for a week. This place is close to all major cafés and we are able to walk to each of them. The property has a very beautiful garden and peaceful surrounding. Overall a very perfect stay for us

The place was fantastic! The open terrace was where we spent most of the time as family. Shaun is an amazing host! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. He was there at 2 am to make sure we get to his place easily and settle down comfortably. It’s a nice place surrounded by homes — it’s gives a feeling of belonging if someone likes village setting. Quite near to the Varkala North cliff, yet quite distant to give a feel of staying in a beach town village. The place reflects Shaun’s passion for everything travel. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a homely accommodation in a nice quaint surroundings.

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

We loved our stay here. Perfect little apartment, tucked away from all the noise in beautiful natural surroundings. Very short walk to the beach. Suji who looked after us was so kind and helpful. We cannot wait to be back.

We had a great time staying at the place ! It has beautiful views and calmness all around. Peaceful mornings and nights. The host Samjana is absolutely wholesome and welcoming! She took care of all the things and helped us with easy check in and check out. She also gave great recommendations for food around! The air bnb is an architectural art. So beautifully designed and has great lighting, sufficient bedding and other arrangements. Definitely coming back just to relax and unwind here ! Worth the money. Thanks for hosting us @Samjana ! It was actually a very good stay, we both enjoyed very much and it was peaceful, and the surroundings where good. Everything provided by the host was very well appreciated, and the main part of the stay was, the breakfast they provided was tasty and it was like a homely feel.
