Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Munising Township

Great parking for truck & trailer. House was very comfortable, warm and well furnished. I was very pleased with my experience and would definitely return!!

We loved Jordan's retreat! The place was spacious and VERY clean. Plenty of linens, pillows, and the kitchen was stocked well with all dishes, spices, coffee and such. Hannah accommodated us really well by turning on fans and air purifiers before we arrived. She was very understanding about us having a traveler sensitive to dust. We had no problems with the place being musty, as some other reviews stated. The place was a bit hard to find--GPS doesn't work well in the area. Hannah was great and responsive and helped us get there. Written directions may be better so that in a pinch you can find it easier. We loved this stay and would recommend it to anyone traveling to pictured rocks. My only add would be that we would have loved to have air conditioning in more than one room, and an earlier check-in, later checkout. Neither one of those were make it or break it for me. You will love your stay!

Beautiful area and very nice accomodations, Colleen had everything we needed available, we felt at home and comfortable. Clean kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable beds. Super friendly and helpful host, we are already planning our next visit!

Penny out did herself! We were gathering for a family Christmas, which we usually have at our home…Penny had decorated so beautifully, that we all felt right at home! The space was perfect, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and a great living area. We could all be in the same area, interacting and yet be doing our own thing! The house was clean, spacious and all the conveniences of home. For those of you that want to partake in the Marquette area, the location was convenient to town, Marquette Mountain and easy access for day trips. For us, we had a beautiful Christmas!

Kayla’s house was the perfect spot for my work week with my dog (Harvey) to get away and set up home-away/from home. The house was so peaceful and the neighborhood/neighbors so welcoming and lovely - we felt so at home. The walk to Lake Superior is an easy 4(ish) blocks and the running trail a great way to take a break from work or access the beach for sunrises and stunning views. Great restaurants, shops and the university all within a 5min, or less, drive. Excellent amenities, the sauna was welcome after our sub-zero walks and to rejuvenate in general. Big fan of the space Kayla has created; highly recommend! Harvey and I loved our introduction to the UP and look forward to coming back frequently.

This is the fourth time we've stayed at Dennis's, and it never disappoints. It's always extremely clean and well stocked. Dennis is a kind, helpful, and conscientious host. The peaceful atmosphere and walkable neighborhood are lovely, but you're still only a few minutes drive from anything you could possibly need. We love it there and will return soon! My son and I visited Marquette in late September. Donna's house was a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, and well equipped. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but convenient to downtown Marquette. We took several day trips both east and west along beautiful Lake Superior. It was a wonderful vacation!

We added this apartment onto our main house rental for our college age son. It was a perfect situation for him to have his own space but also join the family anytime! We loved this idea and option of adding on another private space.

I have stayed here before back in 2022 and really enjoyed it. The size was nice and everyone was easy to work with. For the cost, this is comparable to a hotel with much less room. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks...

If you're going through a tough divorce and the world seems like it's crumbling around you, have I got the place for you. Admittedly, I clicked "reserve" immediately when I saw the sauna, but the lack of a kitchen doesn't really matter when there are so many amazing restaurants nearby and you have the sauna to come home to. Beautiful hiking on the property, Joy and her husband are gracious hosts, and if they'd have me, I will definitely be booking again. Oh and did I mention the sauna?

Santa’s Shack is perfect – an early Christmas gift for me! It’s comfy, cozy, clean, and spacious, equipped with everything I needed. Danielle is an exceptional host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I had a minor injury, which I mentioned casually, and Danielle went above and beyond by offering a therapeutic device so I wouldn’t have to drive a considerable distance, there and back, to get one. I had a fantastic time and staying at Santa's Shack was part of the amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything, Danielle!

This was the perfect place for two couples. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The space was comfy, clean, and welcoming. It also stayed warm inside during a major cold snap. It was easy for us to walk to the main downtown area. The bones of the house are a bit old and creaky, so you do hear people above you, as the listing mentions. We didn't find it problematic, and would definitely stay here again.

This was the most adorable cabin in a beautiful, remote location. We appreciated all of the amenities provided (fire pit being set up and gas grill), along with extra firewood if needed! There were things provided we did not remember, such as marshmallow sticks!! Not To mention the most comfortable beds - this was so nice to come back to after a day of exploring. Additionally, we appreciated the recommendations for restaurants, sites to see, and grocery stores! While watching movies, we loved the tv speakers and Bluetooth speaker to listen to music while cooking. Diane and Allen responded so quickly with any questions we had and it gave us such peace of mind. The area itself is gorgeous and we definitely want to visit again! Thank you Diane and Allen!!!!

We stayed in this place years and years ago several times. Back when it was cross-country cottage. There have been many updates since then. Very comfortable. Everything we needed to cook meals with quality cookware. Couldn’t be happier with the service and kindness we received.

This house was as described, the owner was pleasant to work with. This house is WAY off the beaten path, but the owner contacted us in advance of the start of the reservation to set up a meet up point and guided us directly to the house and showed us around. The amenities were great and we had no issues with our stay.

I loved my stay at the Ida cabin. The campground was easy to find with instructions, and the surroundings were stunning. It was quiet and secluded, with delicious spring water and a very comfy bed. I didn’t end up cooking, but there was a grill and stovetop in great shape. Proximity to Munising made it convenient as well. I would stay again - and plan on saving this location for future visits. I highly recommend the Ida cabin.

My husband and I had the privilege to go on a honeymoon. We ended up spontaneously going up in the UP to fly fish and stumbled upon this treasure. It was perfect for a two day stay. Being right on the lake was beautiful, and at night looking up at the bright stars is something we’ll always remember, thank you for allowing us to stay there with such short notice ( 5 hours before check in) we are so thankful!

Great host, the cinnamon bread is the best! Awesome secluded place in the woods, super quite and highly recommend it!

Great place to stay and ride from, right next to the trail, with gas and a little store within walking distance to the cabin! Cabin was perfect for us no complaints about anything!
