Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mullins Beach

Fantastic villa with beautiful views, spacious, serene & comfortable. We went as a family of four, (2 under 2), and the place was exceptionally comfortable for us. Even though the house does have stairs, there was plenty of space for our toddler to play and roam the balcony etc. Amanda has a delightful villa manager who looked after our initial shopping needs, extra baby equipment that we decided to rent (bedrail) and was on hand to deal with any queries we had. The rooms were very comfortable, super king bed ensured we didn't miss home one bit with AC in the bedrooms. The showers were great, spacious, clean and with good pressure. The kitchen was great, with pretty much every utensil we required and a large american style fridge freezer. The views from the balcony transport you into an idyllic place and I could sit there for hours enjoying the cool breeze. We did not use the pool on this visit however we did use the hot tub which was lovely and ready for us to use. Highly recommend.

This was my first time staying at an AirBnB in Barbados after several visits to either family members or hotels while visiting the island. My entire family (wife, 2 kids and my mom) were all highly impressed as were friends and family who visited us. The pool was perfect, the beach was amazing and listening to the waves on the balcony became a way for all of us to find peace and quiet. The security was friendly and informative. Our host Jameela was an ANGEL! We have many travel struggles getting to the island and she was always responsive, supportive and helpful. The cleaning lady was so friendly and did an awesome job. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are back in Barbados!!!

We stayed at 204 Mistle Cove for one week. The location is right in the heart of Lawrence Gap with all restaurants and amenities within walking distance. The apartment itself is just as advertised, although the view is actually nicer than the pictures. The main room sleeps with a broadview of the ocean and the calming sounds of waves. The patio is spacious and perfect for breakfast , lunch and dinners in front of the ocean. My daughter loved the pool and the ocean front was a lot of fun with the high waves. A calmer and longer beach was only a two min walk from the apartment at Dover. Overall, we had everything we could have needed here, and would easily stay again if we go back to Barbados.

We stayed at Steven’s apartment for 10 days and had an amazing holiday (2 couples). The apartment was wonderful and just as described and there were lots of additional touches that were really thoughtful such as the Cool box and ice blocks and a couple of snorkels. The Sugar Hill complex was beautiful and peaceful. The pools were a lovely temperature (lit at night and open until 9pm) and grounds very well kept. We had a couple of lovely lunches at The Deck (Shrimp Pad Thai excellent!) and the rum punch during happy hour very good. We utilised the Fairmont beach club membership particularly to go and watch the sunsets but also travelled around the Island - which always felt friendly and safe. Kavell was super responsive when we had any questions. I had to do some work whilst out here so had to use the table on the balcony (only minor point was that there wasn’t an electric socket close by). It is an approx 20 min walk down the hill (via Store house Road) to the beach club.

Jeff and Vicki's place was perfect! It is on the slower side of the island so it was great for relaxing and enjoying each other's company. They were extremely responsive and left some snacks and a few beers to get our vacation started. Amazing views of the ocean! Looking forward to staying again when we return.

I have recently returned from a wonderful week-long stay at Wayne’s property. The apartment provided a true home-away-from-home experience. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Patrick, who offered valuable information about the apartment and the area. The apartment was clean and equipped with all the necessities for our family vacation, including toiletries, beach towels, sun loungers, and access to a lovely pool. The beautiful beach is just a five-minute walk from the apartment, while a supermarket is a 15-minute walk away in Oistins. Additionally, the bus stop is only a two-minute walk, providing a quick seven-minute ride to St. Lawrence Gap. Wayne was very prompt and responsive in his communication both prior to and during our stay. This was our fifth visit to Barbados, we found the property to be reasonably priced, we would certainly be delighted to stay at Wayne's property again in the future. Thank you for your generous hospitality.

This was our third stay at 6a The Palisades. We love that part of the island and The Palisades is a perfect location for our favourite beach - Enterprise

Absolutely loved our stay here! The beach access across the street is a 2 min walk, very quiet, and is absolutely beautiful! There's lots of restaurants, beaches, and convenient stores within walking distance. Taxis and the little white "taxi" vans are running constantly so you never have to wait for a ride. The condo itself is well laid out, has everything you need for cooking at home, and the pool was an added bonus! Thanks again for hosting us and I look forward to a return trip in the future!

Our second stay. We love the location and working with Lex. If you want beach front access walkable to Freights ( 1.2 miles) the grocery store and a taxi stand you found the perfect spot.

This homes location is perfect! The coastal highway lets you get to anywhere you need by car and easily accessible by bus. The most stunning beach is an easy walk. The home Itself is phenomenal. Luxury living island style. The hammock is divine, True carribean experience of the roosters who have a lot to say…the monkeys and track meets (track behind the house) led to the full experience! This house has EVERYTHING! Including a flat iron, umbrella, cooler bags… really anything you need. Hosts are very easy to communicate with! We would not hesitate to come back!!

We loved staying at this place! The home was very comfortable, it had about everything you’d need, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy, and the location was great, especially if you like to surf. The beach nearest the house is great if you like to surf, watch surfers, or see sea turtles. If you want to swim, walk a few more minutes down the road to Miami Beach, and you’ll have one of the best swimming beaches in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

Kathryn and Sheilah were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we have the most pleasant stay. They were always checking up on us ensuring we were okay. The house was just a described very easy to access by public transport and to get around. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. It was such a lovely stay and we would definitely stay again. We had an incident with an awful taxi driver from the airport and they supported us the whole way through and covered our taxi back to the airport. I would definitely recommend.

Lorna’s house exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed, making us feel like we’d arrived at our own holiday home. The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures, beautifully equipped, and the pool and garden were perfect for relaxing - we wished we’d stayed longer! The location is fantastic, with mostly locals in the area, and Crane Beach less than a 10-minute walk away - great for a morning run, though the water wasn’t the calmest. The bus stop and a local shop are also just minutes away. The hosts were amazing - so helpful and incredibly responsive, always replying within minutes whenever we had a question. It made our stay even smoother and more enjoyable. We’ve already recommended this place to friends visiting in April, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Lorna, for an amazing stay!

This is our first time in Barbados and wow what a place. Makara our host could not do enough for us. Arranging collection from the airport to helping us get a hire car. The house was amazing and exactly what we needed for our holiday. Our house keeper Amanda was so thorough and kept the house immaculate. I would recommend getting a hire car. We would definitely stay here again. Such a beautiful house. Very peaceful.

We had a great time at Catherine's place. She's an awesome hostess, ultra fast communication , met us at the property (first time this happens to me at an Airbnb) and walked us thru everything. Gave us all kinds of tips and recommendations. We would recommend this condo and would definitely consider coming back. Thank you!

Rodney was the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Started with an amazing welcome and got better by the day. He was always on hand to give us tips and advice. And helped us navigate the hotspots in more than one occasion. Ie getting to Oisten market early and where to eat when we got there to avoid LONG waits! Will be excited to book another stay in this amazing apartment.

The apartment was actually better than the description. Its on the ground floor of a block of modern apartments, right beside the pool, and with a large shaded patio. Patio isnt a great word, it was better than that- a comfortable space with table, chairs, and loungers. The concierge Andrew arrived just after us, gave us comprehensive instructions and recommendations of where to eat. We ate at one, Shakers round the back streets and it was wonderful. Andrew even arranged a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. SO well looked after, thanks Andrew. We're very pleased.

Glenn and Pat were very friendly and accommodating hosts right from the start. Whether we had questions about places to visit, needed help with shopping or information about car rental, Glenn and Pat were always available and never hesitated to help us. The accommodation also left nothing to be desired. It was clean and had everything we needed for a great few days. The highlight was of course the large pool where you could swim and relax. One thing to bear in mind about the accommodation, however, is that it is a little out of the way and various spots such as beaches or restaurants are difficult to reach on foot. For this reason, it is advisable to hire a car, although everything important can also be reached by bus.

What a perfect place to relax and feel right at home. All the pictures are just what you see. Very well appointed condo with everything you need - especially the amazing view, really nice pools, and so close to so many restaurants of all kinds. The Gap gives you everything to enjoy a fabulous Barbados trip. Ray was so fast and complete with suggestions and helpful hints, plus right on with restaurants - go to Primo Bar & Bistro you won’t be disappointed - same with Cocktail Kitchen; Bliss for breakfast is a must - all these in walking distance. WiFi in the unit was great, cool A/C, comfy beds…did I mention the view!! What a treat to have coffee in the morning on the balcony watching the day start to unfold and listen to the waves so close. Ray’s condo has everything we wanted! Tony, mgr there, was at our door making sure we had everything within 20 minutes walking into this lovely condo. We’ll be back and tell all our friends too. Perfect home for a large group of friends/family! The house is very spacious and peaceful. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the ocean each morning. It also looks even more beautiful in person versus the photos! However, the location is a lot further from the main attractions of the island so be prepared to do a lot of driving. But if you want to stay somewhere more peaceful I highly recommend Melissa’s place! Overall we really enjoyed the space and it was a great getaway!
