Sunset Suzys Tropical Retreat is located perfectly 15 minutes outside of Hilo town in a beautiful neighborhood called Hawaiian Paradise park.. It is located on a beautiful one acre lot, filled with fruit trees, green grass, green geckos, and tropical birds. There are no neighbors..Only trees, birds and the quiet hush of the wind and very secluded and private yard. Located just minutes from hiking and exploration at HVNP! At the end of a quiet street and surrounded by tropical rainforest, Volcano Cottage is private and relaxing. Our home features a large front lanai, bright open-concept living area (with daybed to sleep a third), full kitchen, bedroom with private lanai, and spacious tile bath. Close to Volcano Village- restaurants/cafes, farmer's market, galleries, & winery. An ideal home base for exploring the east and south shores of the Big Island.

The living area is bright and inviting, featuring turquoise walls and large windows that allow natural light to fill the space. A cozy sofa and unique wooden coffee table complement the cheerful décor, while a workspace with a desk and colorful artwork enhances the room's ambiance.

Dolphin Cottage @ Kehena - near lava fields

This is a very cute 1 BR/1 bath cottage overlooking the sea - the view is fabulous from the lanai. There is a sofa bed as well, that can sleep 2 smaller framed people. Includes linen/ towels/ soap is provided. The cottage is across from Kehena Black ( bathing suit optional) Beach and close to the Pohoiki Beach, thermal ponds, lava fields. A/C in bedroom, 1G Fioptic WiFi , landline, Netflix, washer/dryer w/ soap as well. MW and toaster oven in utility room just 15 ft. from cottage.

Charming Rainforest Cottage

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

Beautiful Cedar Cottage in Volcano

'Hale Iki' is a hidden treasure located in Volcano, Hawai'i. It is hand crafted entirely of cedar. The cottage is only 5 minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love the coziness, privacy, high ceilings, loft, full kitchen, wood burning stove, and two-person tub. This house was built by my grandfather 30 years ago, and has retained the charm and warmth that he crafted into this cozy cottage.
