Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Laguna

Fantastic stay. It was exactly what we were looking for - an escape from the city, being out in nature, sitting in the hot tub under the stars. Love the cute town of Julian, and the house was very homey - had everything you could ever need for a very comfortable stay. Will definitely be coming back! Jason is a great host - responded to every question very quickly and thoroughly, and had great recommendations.

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

This was a great place to stay in Tecate. For me it was what we needed. A calm place to be at the pool 😊

This is our second stay and it was just as amazing as we remembered, but even better with the new spa, what an upgrade! And I forgot how good this place smells and how comfy the bed is. We spent Thanksgiving here and let me tell you it was the best just cooking for the two of us. The kitchen at Pinky’s is so well stocked. We relaxed, read, sat in the spa, went for walks, it was the best. Jackie who helps check in had the most amazing homemade cookies waiting for us. Her and Laurie were great communicators. Laurie’s suggestion to make pizza was a hit! This time I brought my own dough premade from home and used the grill with pizza stone, turns out amazing! There’s lots to do around the area but honestly staying on the property is your best bet. It’s so relaxing. Our dog joined us and he loved the enclosed front yard. That’s a treat for him to have time outside to sniff around without being leashed. Overall I can’t say enough good things about this stay. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a comfortable place right in downtown Julian— this is the place for you. You are minutes to everything the town has to offer. We really loved that. The house has everything you need. There were 7 of us and the only drawback was that the downstairs room/bathroom has a totally separate entrance, so you had to go outside to access it. Overall would stay again!

I highly recommend this Lake Cuyamaca getaway for rest, relaxation, hiking, views, and lake fun. The hosts thought of everything so we felt right at home. We will definitely stay again in the future when we need to get out of the city.

A cute little space, perfect for a weekend getaway! I loved the view from the big window in the living room. The space is ideal for one or two people, but I stayed with two friends, and while it was a bit tight, we still had a great time. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the best, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to work or do something important. We used this as an opportunity to unplug and relax. We especially loved the vinyl record player—it added such a cozy vibe! The small town is famous for its apple pies, and we tried a great spot called Mom’s Pies. Highly recommend! The road is pretty narrow and edgy but we made it on Tesla 3.

We had a lovely time at the cowboy cabin. It was just what we needed for a quiet weekend. Everything in the cabin was well thought out, so you could enjoy the rustic surroundings with plenty of creature comforts, like tons of extra blankets . Especially loved all the cute cowboy knickknacks and antiques. My pup was also loved the open space and all the country smells. Hope to be back soon!

Daniel’s cabin was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. It had all the appliances we need to cook food throughout the trip. His place was close to Julian. I would recommend this place.

I love going to Palomar Mountain as a getaway and have stayed at many places - mostly Bailey’s. I stayed here last time and so far it has become my favorite place to stay on the mountain. It was really cozy and peaceful and at night it’s so dark that the sky looks better than anywhere else I’ve been. It was easy to use the appliances and the TV and my kids had a great time. I definitely recommend staying here.

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love Julian and T’s place is hands down our favorite cabin we’ve stayed at. We love getting to watch all the birds outside. All of the interior decorations are so well done. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful getaway.

The space was exactly what we needed to reset. Plenty of room for my daughter and I to relax and unwind. Comfortable bed! Amazing pots and pans for full meal cooking! Lovely area to be in. Christina’s natural interactions with the animals is beyond impressive and being able to interact with the animals as much or as a little or you wish is a blessing in disguise. My daughter came alive out here and we have some impressive strong ladies and their dedication to this place to thank! We will be back! Again and again! Christina was kind, helpful, and direct in all her communication. Oh and the laundry on site was a God send!

Jonna was very responsive whenever needed before and during our stay. The instructions were clear and concise. Our request for an extension to our stay was easy and seamless. The home was in a secluded part of the woods, which is exactly what we were looking for. Everything that we needed was provided in advance.

The Cabin was very clean and such a beautiful area. I do recommend though that you visit here when the grapes are in-season, but other than that, the view was amazing. I will be coming back here sometime soon.

Rob was absolutely wonderful in communitcating with us before, during and after our stay. We enjoyed the cabin; cozy indeed. Perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed hiking the lcoal trails. Love Julian and the cabin!

The campsite is beautiful and super family-friendly—lots of great amenities for kids! It’s convenient, safe, and dog-friendly. Our whole family had a great time!🏕️

One of the best homes in the area!

Our family of 4 came back this December after staying at Sara's place last year. It is our favorite airbnb and quick local getaway. So thoughtfully and beautifully designed while still feeling comfortable and cozy. Amazing star viewing at night, perfect location (super close to the town) and comfortable beds. We will be back next year! Thank you Sara.

I would return in a heart beat! The host is very quick to reply to any questions and is very accommodating. The outside area has great shade and is a very relaxing spot to hang out.

The location of Lynn and Paul’s home was delightful as was the rustic southwestern decor throughout the house. They’ve come up with lots of little touches that made their place feel quite special. We would recommend their home to our friends and would not hesitate to come back. Aloha, Tim
