House vacation rentals in Mossel Bay

Our stay at AJ’s house was nothing short of amazing! Warren, was incredibly warm and did a fantastic job orienting us around the house and the area. The location is peaceful and surrounded by stunning ocean and mountain views. A highlight was spotting dolphins swimming in the ocean from the main bathroom - a truly unforgettable experience! My children also loved the serenity of the place. Would definitely return. Highly recommend!

This was a stunning place in a beautiful location. We could not have asked for better accommodation for our party of 9. The house is beautifully furnished, indoors and outdoors, and has breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from a high vantage point. There was so much to do in the area that all our excursions were interesting and fun and if we opted to stay home and relax, we could take a stroll down to the beach, visit local restaurants or explore nearby hiking trails. Patricia and Ray were great hosts and made our stay easy and comfortable. Would definitely come back again to this special place!

If you are looking for a place that is children friendly and that will accommodate the whole family, this is definitely the perfect place. You don't need to go anywhere, because everything you need is there. From a cot for babies, to toys that will keep the kids entertained. The kiddies can enjoy playing in the play park or a swim in the pool, while the adults enjoy a drink around the braai. There is also family board games to keep the family entertained. This is the perfect family destination.

It was the perfect 5 day breakaway for our family of four. The house felt like a home away from home. Everything you want is there and available. Eldest son could play golf each day. Losts of walkways to explore. We enjoyed the restaurant at the main clubhouse. George, the onsite caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Golf carts to rent at the house is a great plus. Heralds Bay beach a short drive away. Would love to stay here again.

Our second visit to Firewings, just as good as last time with a much improved golf course on-site, fabulous views, large rooms and an efficient and unobtrusive housemaid.

Nice airbnb with a stunning view and heated pool. You will have to drive by car down to the beach. Muriel and Patrick we quick to respond to every request and provided ample information.

This is one of favorite Air BnBs. Communication was smooth from the start. Kelvin is a gracious host - polite, friendly and respectful at all times. The house is equipped for a comfortable stay and even has beach chairs and an umbrella to use during the stay. Thank you for making this a memorable visit. We would’ve loved to stay longer!

Highly recommended stay, good value!

Our family of 7 adults stayed here for the weekend, and it was wonderful! We loved the beautiful view from the balconies, and appreciated each room’s ansuite bathroom - really a nice comfy and quiet setting, and we felt right at home. Because of the cold and rainy weather we had to use the portable space heaters all the time while inside (but we are used to central heating in the USA.) Since there is no clothes dryer, some of our clothes took 2 days to dry - probably because of the weather at the time.) Glad we washed a few loads as soon as we checked in on Friday. We enjoyed building a puzzle at night, (found on top of the fridge) but unfortunately we were not able to finish it, so next time we should stay longer and relax more!

The stay was great, nice and quiet neighbourhood, close to the beach so you can walk. We where greeted with some delicious welcome treats. The place has everything one needs for a long or short stay. Well equipped kitchen, with more than enough cutlery and crockery. Will definitely come back. Thank you Stephanie

Gorgeous house with a great location. Beautiful, green, safe neighbourhood, walking distance to convenience store and coffee! Super comfy beds and nice garden with high walls for doggos. Great stay in George!

Gert and Ursula are the perfect hosts. They are most welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the area and only too keen to assist and give you ideas on the local attractions. To be honest words can’t describe how welcome they made me and my family feel. We are on holidays from Australia and wish we stayed longer at the Half Way House. Not only were they welcoming but the accomodation was amazing. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It is a must for anyone travelling the Garden Route to try and stay here. Thanks again Gert and Ursula. I hope one day we are lucky enough to stay and meet you again.

A lovely house, perfect for a big family! The WIFI was reliable and suitable for working, and the house looked exactly like the photos. The beautiful views and the wonderful host made our stay even more special. Wish we could stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is perfectly situated with a truly amazing view of the bay. The house was clean and has been set up with quality appliances and utensils etc. We loved the fact that it was only 40metres to the gate (coded) which leads onto the ocean and we spent hours snorkling in amazing conditions. It allows for great braaing and simply sitting taking in the view and its also well protected from wind. We saw loads of dolphins daily. Wendy was a very good host throughout.

Fantastic place ! it's even more beautiful in real than on pictures. This is exactly what you can wish for if you like a beach house : the view is amazing, you can see the sunset set on Mossel Bay every evening, the beach is literally downstairs, the house is well decorated and brings the seaside feeling inside the living space. Thank you Marya for the welcoming. If we come back to South Africa (something we are already considering 😄) we will definitely try to book your place again, we already miss the view !

Great location, the house is spacious, clean, very well equipped- everything you need!!

It’s a really great place to stay, with great view, too. It’s a classic and cozy house, it makes you feel comfortable and it’s like a home for you. The kitchen is amazing, and have all what you need to cook for a big group, the bathrooms are clean and works in perfect condition. Check in is so easy, also check out is easier. The neighbourhood is so quiet and nice and beautiful. What is really amazing though; is Zanelle, she is so nice and responds very quick, we face a little problem and she immediately respond and send some help, thank you Zanelle ❤️ definitely if I came back here I’ll go to the same place

Elsjés Unit is an awesome unit,lots of beds nice country decor feel,awesome hosts,very safe and quiet, so close to shopping centre pharmacy's, garage,top butcher and Feul station,900m from main beach,whart more can you ask for, prices is affordable but you get more than you pay for,perfect getaway or family holiday,definitely coming back real soon.
