House vacation rentals in Mossel Bay

The place is beautiful, but you gonna freeze to death there, no heaters, and they got electricity problem, you gonna stay in darkness for straight 6hrs, the back up batteries doesn’t work, the fact that the full house has only 2 bathroom was a huge turn off, rooms are not ensuit… Host is very rude, they don’t care about guest, she kicks you out when it’s 10 on the day of check out.. we won’t go back there

Oblivion is a very special place in a very unique setting. It takes a bit of effort to reach but it is more than worth it. The peace and tranquility that awaits you help you forget about the outside world and its problems. Ballots Heights and Oblivion are balm for the soul…pure joy and bliss. Our stay exceeded our expectations in all aspects…from the luxury and comfort of the beautifully and cleverly designed house to the stunning sunsets, views of the ocean and nature. AJ and Bernice were wonderful hosts, while Warren (the co-host) is a real rockstar! Oblivion is by far now our new favourite holiday destination and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had FANTASTIC service from Jonathan. The house was full of little features not advertised like floaties for the pool, wood for the braai and board games galore. The pool was absolutely amazing and we had such fun having our own pool to ourselves. We cannot wait to return and the house exceeds the pictures and description. The estuary is just down the road with friendly folks out for a walk and you feel safe exploring the area. This house is probably the BEST self catering place that I have ever stayed in and I miss our host's welcoming and hospitable service already. Do not hesitate to book this special place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It offers incredible value for money. The unit is spacious, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The private braai was very nice to use at night and the children enjoyed the estate swimming pool a lot. We enjoyed being walking distance from the beach and right next to a grocery store, making it so convenient. Our kids had a wonderful time, and the safe, welcoming environment gave us peace of mind. Thank you Carel for hosting us. You were amazing—helpful, friendly, and always available to assist, which made our stay even better. We highly recommend this.

Our stay was incredible! This property is hands down the best holiday accommodation that we have found on Airbnb. The house exceeded all our expectations and offers exceptional value for money. Every detail is carefully considered to provide a truly high-end experience. The location is peaceful and private, with beautiful views and useful outdoor spaces. Our highlights were the heated pool with loungers for those days you don’t feel like sightseeing, and the golf cart that can be hired to easily explore the estate. George was also an unexpected and very welcome addition to the experience. He was always available to assist and carefully took care of everything in the background. This home is perfect for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would love to return in the future!

Loved all the luxury like hand creams, linen, decor and attention to detail. The youngsters enjoyed the jacuzzi and games room alot. Fast wifi speed. Relaxing holiday.

Our second visit to Firewings, just as good as last time with a much improved golf course on-site, fabulous views, large rooms and an efficient and unobtrusive housemaid.

This is one of favorite Air BnBs. Communication was smooth from the start. Kelvin is a gracious host - polite, friendly and respectful at all times. The house is equipped for a comfortable stay and even has beach chairs and an umbrella to use during the stay. Thank you for making this a memorable visit. We would’ve loved to stay longer!

We were very impressed with our friendly and accommodating host and the house we stayed in. It was perfect for our family and the kids loved it. We would definitely like to stay there again in future!

Our family of 7 adults stayed here for the weekend, and it was wonderful! We loved the beautiful view from the balconies, and appreciated each room’s ansuite bathroom - really a nice comfy and quiet setting, and we felt right at home. Because of the cold and rainy weather we had to use the portable space heaters all the time while inside (but we are used to central heating in the USA.) Since there is no clothes dryer, some of our clothes took 2 days to dry - probably because of the weather at the time.) Glad we washed a few loads as soon as we checked in on Friday. We enjoyed building a puzzle at night, (found on top of the fridge) but unfortunately we were not able to finish it, so next time we should stay longer and relax more!

The place looks better than the pictures, it is absolutely stunning! You have a 180° view of the ocean! Each room has its own view to enjoy. You can watch your kids play on the beach from the balcony, the beach access is right next to the house. It has everything you need for the perfect holiday. We enjoyed every moment. The host is also so friendly and willing to assist and responds to messages very quickly.

Exceeded our expectations. Will definitely go back. Beautiful house, exactly what is expected from a sea view holiday house. Felt like a home, it had everything that you would have had in your normal family house. You can see that a high level of maintenance are being kept on the property. I would definitely recommend.

We had such a lovely time staying at Christa‘s and Joseph‘s beach house. The house is spacious and cozy with lots of outdoor space. The proximity to the most amazing beach is a big plus, it’s a 5 min walk and you’re on the beach. The house is equipped with everything you need and just perfect for a family or group. Both Colette and Wendy were very responsive. The property offered so much more than the expected basics which really added to a comfortable stay.

Great location, the house is spacious, clean, very well equipped- everything you need!!

It’s a really great place to stay, with great view, too. It’s a classic and cozy house, it makes you feel comfortable and it’s like a home for you. The kitchen is amazing, and have all what you need to cook for a big group, the bathrooms are clean and works in perfect condition. Check in is so easy, also check out is easier. The neighbourhood is so quiet and nice and beautiful. What is really amazing though; is Zanelle, she is so nice and responds very quick, we face a little problem and she immediately respond and send some help, thank you Zanelle ❤️ definitely if I came back here I’ll go to the same place

Absolutely brilliant - we felt at home from arrival and enjoyed the ambiance of the property. The view to the bay was stunning, and sounds of the wave's breaking on the pebble beach were wonderful. We would without a doubt book again.
