Beautiful seaside cottage with access to the beach right across the road! Very accessible to go to Dunedin. Janet was very responsive and she was very thoughtful in leaving us breakfast and bread. The cottage had toys and beach amenities to enjoy! We had the most wonderful time :) will definitely be visiting again!

Tessa's space is STUNNING! You can feel the love and careful thought that has gone into the creation of it. All the little touches from the fresh flowers to the honey from Queen Victoria to the 'crocs' for use while taking in the gloriousness of the greenspace all added to the thoughtful gestures. Tessa is a great host and truly cares for her guests experiences. Tessa recommended the local Cafe Buster Greens which had AMAZING coffee and delicious breakfasts. It was a short stay but a magnificently sweet one! Thank you, Tessa for hosting us ❤️ xx

This was a last minute stay after our accommodation let us down at the last minute. The hosts could not have been more helpful or responded more quickly. The space is smallish but well thought out and the bathroom is large. Great shower though takes a while to heat up. Great views and privacy yet an easy hop to town. No cooker or hob but there is a microwave - meant we had to rethink our meal plan haha! Loved all the scenery and activities on the peninsula. This is a fab place to stay for a few days.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and well stocked and there is plenty of place for everyone. The location can't be beat! Walking just a few minutes gets you to St. Clair beach, the Esplanade with shops and restaurants, and the St. Clair Salt Water Pool. Sylvia communicates well and was flexible when we needed to modify our reservation. We've had a wonderful time here and hope to be back soon.

Amanda is an excellent host and provided excellent amenities including a beautiful and artistically designed space, comfortable beds, excellent coffee and fresh milk, laundry soap and more. We wish we could have stayed longer, highly recommend this home!

Angela's tiny house was absolutely stunning! such a peaceful location decided to stay an extra night! definitely felt right at home, the little touches made this place exceed expectations, eggs, washing machine, condiments. Will be back again on my next visit :)

Mike’s place was the perfect spot for our family getaway — brilliant location and very family-friendly. Our 2-year-old could easily walk to the Octagon, and everything was just as described. Communication was clear and smooth throughout. A great choice for a night away with the family!

Wonderful spot to stay - well appointed, comfortable, sunny and warm. Lovely outdoor area to catch the sun. Very peaceful and quiet. St Clair is a unique part of Dunedin and it was an easy flat walk down to the beach and its cafes and shops. Handy corner story five minutes walk away. Only a short drive to the inner city. Magic spot to relax.

This sweet holiday home did not disappoint - in true 'crib' style, it's a perfect place to sit under the stars, inhale the peacefulness of Waikouaiti and for my sister and I transport us back to our childhood memories of holidaying as kids here. The beach is stunning and safe and only a short walk from the property. As others have said the cosy beds and powerful shower were standouts with a modern interior that is spotlessly clean and good value for money. Thanks for having us - we'll be back!

WOW, this needs to be on your list of places to stay. It was serene, quiet, beautifully presented. Everything you could ask for in a get away. Adelle was extremely friendly and you can tell they have put a lot of thought into this tiny home. 10/10 loved our stay and will definitely be back soon. Loved our visits from Cara (their beautiful dog) too. ♥️

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Great modern space, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was great. A bit of a walk into the city centre but worth it as we had a parking space for our rental car. lovely out on the balcony also.

Marian’s place catered well for our family gathering of four adults, two young children and a dog. The secure section was fantastic and extras such as the BBQ, portacot, highchair, toys etc were very convenient. Marian was a great host and I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing family weekend near the beach.

By-folding doors create a seamless transition from the living area to the outdoor deck. The deck features wooden flooring and orange bean bag chairs, surrounded by a well-maintained lawn. Brick walls complement the entrance, with greenery and a privacy fence enhancing the space.
