Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Mosfellsbær

I definitely recommend this beautiful and cozy cottage with a thermal pool, surrounded by beautiful Icelandic nature. The owners were always very friendly and helpful 😊

We loved our stay at this house! Spent two nights in Reykjavik and this was a great spot to walk to everything. Neighborhood felt safe, we let our teens walk home at night by themselves. House was adorable, everything as described and very comfortable. Loved the character and charm of an older home! Bjorn was responsive and I would stay here again. Thanks!

The luxury villa was all we could ask for and more. The location is fantastic right across from Kerid crater and easy access to all the hot spots. The villa is nicely appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was magnificent! My only advice would be to allow the outside motion light the ability to be shut off. We woke up at midnight both nights to see the northern lights but the lights out front kept coming on. Would be great if they could be shut off for optimal viewing. Otherwise everything was fantastic and I highly recommend this villa!!

Our stay at Larus’ accommodation was magical. Such a beautiful and restful setting, we felt relaxed instantaneously. The space was spotless with everything considered. The hot tubs and sauna were wonderful luxuries with the verandas thoughtfully sheltered from the breeze and the kayak’s in the lake which our boys enjoyed. The communication from start to when we left was proactive and clear with Kamil kindly meeting us at the cottages to guide us to the house and show us around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

The barn house was beautifully built and decorated with spectacular views. The skylight windows were perfect for watching for the northern lights. The kitchen had all the basics and some extras like a nespresso machine and pods. We enjoyed cooking there and using the hot tub. The washer and dryer were super helpful. It was a great launching place for the Golden Circle. Stokkseyri is a cute little town with a great local pool. The turf house across the street was fun to explore as was the beach on the other side of the turf wall. It is very near Bakkahestar for highly recommended Icelandic horse rides with a local couple on the beach in Eyrarbakki. Nearby Selfoss has anything you need including an amazing fish market Fiskbud Suderlands for great prices on fresh caught local fish. Kristinn was very responsive and we loved our stay!

Extremely well stocked with supplies and all sorts of gadgets and home comforts. Christmas decorations and a small gift for each of the children along with a bottle and chocolates were such a thoughtful and nice touch as we were staying over Christmas Day. Just bear in mind it’s a tourist attraction so if you don’t lock the door you may get an unexpected visitor. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of character and very homely.

Very nice vacation home and nice landlords. The house is a bit remote, so ideal for watching a night sky with northern lights.

What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

What a wonderful place and in the perfect location for exploring the Golden Circle. The house was plenty big for the eight adults in our group, and we were all able to spread out, but also come together for meals and games. Although we didn’t use it, the hot tub was a great amenity. Our host was wonderful and very responsive when I contacted her with a question before booking and also when I needed to turn off the security system. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had two unfortunate last minute cancellations from other host so didn’t find their place until the day before our stay. It was nicer than either and wish we would have just booked with them first. So, thankful to them for making our last few days in Iceland a perfect end to our trip!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. The host was super responsive and allowed us an early check in. The house itself is spacious, with super comfortable beds and it is gorgeous. The house fit 15 of us comfortably. The hot tub was so lovely and warm! It was only a short 15 minute drive to the centre with lots of bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was the best place we have ever stayed as a family. Sigurdurs place is beautiful with the most stunning view. The house is spacious and very warm and cosy. It is absolute heaven, the perfect escape to the countryside with a chance of seeing the northern lights over the lake. I would definitely recommend Sigurdur’s place to everyone. This is the most beautiful Airbnb I have stayed in. The pictures are exactly what you experience - and so much more. It is hard to describe the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding environment. We were fortunate enough to see the Northern lights each night! We had the most incredible time and recommend this location and home without reservation. Omar was an outstanding and responsive host and we cannot say enough positive things about this listing.

We had a fantastic stay at house! The apartment was perfectly located. The cozy setup with modern amenities made it feel like a home away from home. “The best air b&b we have stayed in”. The guesthouse we stayed in was perfect. The place is extremely clean and well thought out, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The personalised note inside upon check in was such a lovely touch. The hot tub is easy to use and the geothermal water is welcome after a long day of exploring Iceland. The views from the cabin are also breathtaking. Sabine is a great and responsive host, providing really detailed instructions before check in and getting back to queries quickly. We also both really enjoyed our walking tour with her wonderful horses today. Could not recommend this place enough, as my boyfriend said while staying there “I think this is the best air b&b we have ever stayed in”…I couldn’t agree more!!

Sandra was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and always available to answer any questions we had. Her place was very clean and cozy. The views were excellent with a nice, private space. We would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation!

Lovely cabin we saw the Northern lights from the hot tub. private and quiet Relatively close to Golden Circle attractions Selfoss and Hella.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 days in the cottage. The landscape was breathtaking, the photos do not do it justice! The cottage is equipped with everything we could possibly need, and very easy to get to by car. The outside hot tub with geothermal water was a lovely feature and fills up quickly. Within an hour or two from the biggest touristy places which was nice. We will definitely be back!
