Comfortable 5-bedroom villa by the Golden Circle
Perfect house for a group of friends. We spent New Years Eve there and loved it. We even had the luck to see a massive aurora on New Years Eve which made the place even more magical :-) We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet location and the great kitchen and living room. Beds were comfy, too. Only thing was that the instructions for the hot tub werent up to date and it took a little until we solved it. Other than that everything was perfect :-)

Northern lights cosy
The cabin was thoughtfully decorated. Also, a private and peaceful place close to bigger town and outdoor attractions.

Efri-Torfa Premium Boutique Chalet
Very peaceful & private location, Loved the smooth check in & communication. Exactly what I needed for this trip. Highly recommended

Luxury Lakefront villa, infinity hot tub and sauna
This property is unique. Amazing and tranquil setting off the Golden Circle. The view of the lake over the course of the day with the clouds rolling in and out is what postcards use to be made of. The house itself is guest ready, plenty of fresh towels, sheets, linens and a fully workable kitchen. The coffee maker will give you plenty of gas to get up but honestly we enjoyed the property so much we spent days watching the weather change, listening to the wind in the trees and just relaxing in a beautiful Icelandic setting. The hot tub and sauna did not disappoint either. We have stayed at many properties around the globe, but this one felt most like home.

Valley guesthouse - Cottage 2
We loved our stay! It was super cozy and felt like a home. Peaceful, privat, warm, perfect. The location was perfect to visit other sightseeing spots and discover hidden gems on your own. The people were super friendly and had always a smile on their face. Every morning we had 2 dogs waiting in front of the cabin to get a good belly rub. My personal highlight. ;) We even saw the northern lights from the cabin. The view with the mountains was amazing!! Would definitely recommend and come back for a second time. Thank you for the memorable stay at your cabin.

A log cabin at the river bank!
Johanna & her sisters were great hosts & the log cabin is really amazing! We received very detailed information how to find & check-in & also some helpful information regarding the area (supermarkets, rental cars etc.). So, we felt like home just when we arrived. The cabin is equipped with really everything you need, e.g. the fireplace & the clothes horse were very helpul when coming back from hiking on a stormy & rainy day. Worth mentioning is also the hot tub from which you can look towards the river. Overall, we can absolutely recommend the log cabin & we will definitely come back. Selfoss (grocery), the Golden Circle, Thingvellir & Reykjavik are within a max. 1.5 hour drive.

Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub
This little cabin is the perfect location for exploring the south of Iceland. It's tucked away enough to feel private and secluded but quick to hop onto the main road. Cabin was clean, with plenty of space for 3 adults and a teenager. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora two nights in a row over the cabin. The lack of light pollution meant perfect viewing spots. We loved our week here and would definitely use again.

Barn house by the sea
The house is as beautiful as the surroundings. The furniture and finishings were beautifully crafted and very comfortable. You had the convenience of being in a small town to grab a bite to eat or run down to the store for a few groceries, but you also the breathtaking landscape views Iceland is known for. This was a wonderful place to stay and when we go back, we will be checking this listing first to see if it's available!
