Beautiful Hidden Gem in Leipzig's quiet neighborhood Katarina's place is more than what is described on the website. The house is located in a secluded quiet woody area, and it is a more than 100-year-old, pretty large cottage that they remodeled in their basement for guests with a modern design. This AirBnB includes a large living room with two beds, a kitchen with an extra living room surrounded by plenty of green, and a modern bathroom with a large shower space. I love their floor heating system. Once you set the temperature, you enjoy the warm room even when it is stormy outside. I experienced life in Germany, cooking, composing garbage (it was my first time!), and chatting with Katharina about our families and the two countries. Katharina is very caring, and sincere, and she never forgets the hospitality. It is rare to meet such an honest good person on earth these days. We missed an opportunity to walk to a lake nearby together, so I will return to her home again.

We had a very nice stay at this historic house. We've wanted to spend a weekend here for a long time, and staying in such an old building was a special experience. The house is cozily furnished, and especially the fireplace was our highlight – its warmth and the crackling of the fire made the evenings special. The hosts were very friendly and gave us valuable tips for excursions in the area. A great place for history lovers – highly recommended!

The place was very nicely decorated and easy to find. For the price we had a large apartment just for us and Daniel was always available in case there were any problems. The two were very nice and recommended us activities for the area.

We spent three days/two nights in Joanna's beautiful apartment. The location between Halberstadt and Quedlinburg was ideal for us to explore these two cities. The apartment was great and fully equipped, clean, very tidy and we didn't lack anything. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, internet, TV, parking ... everything is great. Everything was great! 😊 The place is really good and you can reach everything you need on foot. The nearest tram stop was also not far away. Attractions within walking distance, restaurants and shopping as well. The place is actually even prettier than it looks in the photos and the value for money is more than right. Thank you, I'd love to come back!

We fell in love with this beautiful place right from the start! The cottage is very quiet and was extremely clean. In the evening we sat comfortably in front of the fireplace and in the morning we could enjoy delicious cappuccino from the coffee machine. On the actual departure day, we spontaneously decided to stay one night longer - everything is great!!!

The accommodation has a very special charm and reminds you of what Leipzig's apartments used to look like. Before everything was renovated and modernized. She really is a little treasure about it. The apartment is really big, there are 4 bedrooms and a large cozy living room. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped, a balcony invites you to look into the green backyard. The location is great, you have direct access to public transport. There are many pubs and subcultural life nearby. So a wonderful base to arrive and get to know the flair of this wonderful city! The only small criticism: The beds looked a little saggy. Nevertheless or therefore: Would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay on the 3rd Advent weekend. The place was very clean and lovingly decorated - there was even some Christmas decor. At check-in, we had help from the host's partner - very patient when opening the key safe. A working TV or wifi would be the cherry on the weekend. We are happy to recommend.
