Waterfront vacation rentals in Morgan County

First, they responded almost immediately during my stay, which was nice to feel recognized I saw and visited with Brad a couple times, who was very friendly. Otherwise, they were two very different spaces at their home, and you can't hear what's taking place in their home. They have a book of recommendations of where to go in the city, a map of the university and a map of downtown, recommended local artists, Bulldogs postcards...Best of all and the reason I chose it, it was on the Northern Oconee River and absolutely beautiful. You can sit on the patio overlooking the trees and river, listening to the birds chirping and watching them swoop in to the bird feeder, and catching glimpses of all the wild daffodils signaling the first signs of spring. Absolutely amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful stay, Dorothy, Brad and your doggies!

The house was clean, quiet and exactly as described. We had a nice long weekend on the lake. This property is what you're looking for.

Other than some minor damages around the house, everything was as shown in the pictures. The only other thing to note is the barstools around the spool table are the same barstools shown outside, a minor thing, but we did have to move some stools outside if everyone wanted to sit on the porch. I wish it would have been clearer to us that we needed to take out trash when leaving before we reserved, but as the instructions are shown in the booking I will not make a big deal out of it. The view was amazing and Jeremy was very quick in responding to our questions. Overall a great stay and value!

Asia was a great host, with an absolutely beautiful property. The property was EXACTLY like what’s advertised and the check in process was such a breeze. The check out process was also so easy I feared I was forgetting to do something. Honestly the easiest check in and out process I’ve encountered . This place was everything that was advertised. It was easy to find, immaculate, had everything we could possibly need, even provided everything for s'mores by the fire pit (which we put to use!). We got there at night, and when we all got up the next morning and saw the view of the lake we were all stunned. It was just beautiful. There was parking for our three cars, and a ramp by the entrance if needed. Val checked on us several times to see if we needed anything, but we never did. I will definitely rebook here.

Had to evacuate from Florida because of Hurricane Milton. Thomas was very attentive to our needs and communicated very well and timely. Couldn’t have asked for a more attentive person. Very peaceful location. Watching Canadian geese on the water was beautiful! . The local Walmart, Zaxbys and Arby’s were our food locations that I believe only 8 miles away. Glad to be home now knowing our home was not damaged.

A fantastic 5 star stay at this house! The hot tub was AMAZING, super clean & beautiful views. The main king bed is ridiculously comfortable with a great mattress, sheets & duvet especially cozy with the fireplace which was easy to light with the flip of a switch. We caught a huge catfish from the dock & enjoyed the recommendation to hike at the Effigy. We did 5 miles. We also ate at the Bistro on Lake Oconee which was delish. We plan to return in the summer! Thank you!

Amy and Chris were incredibly responsive to any questions and needs. They provided an amazing Christmas stay for our family. They were helpful before, during, and after our stay. We will definitely stay in their home again.

Great place to stay along the lake. Lance was a responsive host. He was quick to answer any questions. Our only complaint was having to take the trash with us on the way out. It was an inconvience for us with younger children. We felt this should have been included as part of the cleaning fee.

We have stayed in these buildings before but have never stayed in one with such a great view! The place was cleaner than any we have stayed in too. Very easy to communicate with. We would certainly be back! Thank you for having us! The only downside was the cushions outside need to be replaced so it wasn't as comfy spending the afternoon on the porch as we hoped but it was a terrific spot! Highly recommend.

Great Athens stay! We came to bring Thanksgiving to our son who plays football for UGA and attend the game that weekend. Paul was a great host very responsive and friendly. Our son is a freshman so we definitely intend to visit Paul’s place again. We would definitely recommend you stay in this beautiful place!
