Villa vacation rentals in Moratuwa

I was visiting Sri Lanka and wanted to stay in Colombo for about a week. First Chathura was responsive and explain in detail about accommodation and then on the day we arrived, he was kind enough to arrange one of his team member to walk us through the property. The place was clean and had a nice architecture. We had access to uber , Uber eats and all other services. Chathura and his team was always responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended and will book again if I visit Sri Lanka in future.

We had a lovely stay at the TWB and our host and his manager were attentive and looked after us very well. The property was beautifully maintained and the rooms were spacious and air conditioned. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the gorgeous view of the Bolgoda lake. We would love to come here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sri Lanka.

I had requested for an early checkin since I had an early morning flight and Dinelka was kind enough to agree to it and keep everything ready when we arrived. Since we had 2 extremely sleepy kids, it was a blessing that we could just check in and get rested. Overall wonderful experience and pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet neighborhood but still close to great restaurants and public transportation. The host was very hospitable and responsive, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great place to stay as a group or family in Wadduwa, the spaces and huge with a big pool and direct beach access. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home, the food prepared for us was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate during our stay!

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. Villa has a magnificent view and just views the serene water beneath the lovely sunset. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon. Thanks Ayesha for consistently checking on us! ❤️🤩

Laura and her team were amazing. They were always at hand when we needed to speak to someone, they were super flexible and they gave us clear instructions on how to find things, where to do stuff etc. They were very flexible with our arrival time and when we were there, they showed us local restaurants and other facilities. We were a big group of friends from different nationalities, getting ready for a wedding and they were just happy for us and enjoyed the time with us. whenever there was a language issue as English wasn't everyone's first language, it was quickly overcome. The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Salgado Manore, as the name suggests would carry you back a couple of Century as you live like an aristocratic guest in this heritage home that has been preserved and tastefully decorated by those who have inherited it from their ancestors. You would almost feel that you are moving around in a living museum. Every nook and corner of the mansion and every black and white photo has a story to tell and it will make you aware of how the aristocrats lived in that era. To top it all, the hosts exceed all expectations in terms of hospitality. The guest room is impeccable just like the rest of the mansion, the morning breakfast is wholesome and delicious, morning and afternoon tea served in Bone China along with cake and ginger biscuit is legendary... While the lady of the house goes out to teach and influence young minds, the "young" Priya takes minute care of this mansion and all those who live in it, including you who are just there for a short while as their "AirBnB" guest. It is really hard to believe when Priya announces that he has already celebrated his 75th birthday, because he will put many youth to shame by the daily hectic schedule of activities he maintains from dawn to dusk through his "one-man show", taking care of the villa, cleaning up the place, doing laundry, getting provisions from the market, tending to the sprawling garden around the villa with fruiting trees and thousands of orchids, remnant of the hay days when he used to supply white and violet flowers for weddings and funerals in Colombo and surrounding towns. Priya will remind you that all that he is today is mainly because of the training he got as a planter in his youth. Being a former planter, he is well trained and disciplined, bubbling with ideas to keep himself busy, and that indeed is the secret of his youthfulness. Not to forget the manner in which tea is prepared and served, rivaling the often-talked of "tea ceremony" that the Japanese are famous for. Do not book your room at this place if you are in a hurry and are just looking for an accommodation. Decide to stay there if you want to rediscover the old-world charm, take time to visit the nearby church and temples where long-time dwellers of Moratuwa go to offer their prayers, walk in the lovely pathways recently created around the cleaned-up lagoons that attract variety of birds, sit on the seafront to witness the breaking of the dawn with splendid sunrise and listen to the waves breaking on the sandy beach. And do not feel guilty when you get pampered by the inheritors of this charming mansion who would do their best to humor you and make your stay very memorable.
