Really beautiful spot. The home had many areas for groups to gather and a lot of fun things to do. Beds were comfortable & the kitchen was great.

My friends and I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our time very much. Close to Duluth and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Only downside for me was the beds. I personally didn't find them comfortable at all and didn't sleep well as a result. They felt thin and the beds wobbled and squeaked at every slight shift. That said, the rest of the people in my party didn't think the beds were anything to complain about 🤷‍♀️ so might be personal preference!

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie's cabins. We loved the location, which is close to Sax Zim Bog and the Wilbert Cafe. The main cabin and additional cabin were perfect for our group of three birders. The kitchen was big with lots of amenities and the heat worked great. We are all from Florida and were warm and toasty, even with temps below zero. The wood stove was a nice touch and added ambience. I would highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again on my next visit.

We had an amazing stay at Andrew and Tiffany’s. Their place is super cozy, squeaky clean, quiet, and the views are amazing! My sister and I had a wonderful time, and we loved all the details and the personal touches as well. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb‘s and this one is by far one of the best. I hope I can come back someday! Andrew and Tiffany gave us suggestions on things to do and places to go, and they were super responsive. I definitely recommend staying with them!

The house was beautiful and spacious for 4 adults, 1 teenager and 3 kids 10 and under. There was plenty to do for all the ages. The trails around the property were great and clear even with major snow drifts and wind covering footprints. There were sleds and snowshoes and a great sledding hill. The seating in the common areas was nice for a group and the fireplace was a nice feature we all enjoyed. The kitchen had everything needed, which was great! Brandon was a friendly and helpful host.

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Iver’s place very much! The house was very clean and we were so impressed with all the little extras. We took full advantage of the sauna, games, and guide books. This would be such an awesome spot in the summer with the wonderful patio and access to the fire pit. Also, it was a big plus that our dog could join us!

We visited the area for a college tour and didn't get to enjoy the lake but we will absolutely make sure we get that in next time, our schedules kept us busy. It was my families first time in the area and we didn't know what to expect. There is much in the area to explore! The fall colors were absolutely gorgeous! Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful and responsive!! The cabin was perfect! Larger than I was expecting and had everything we needed. Clean linens, plenty of fresh towels, dishes and cooking supplies etc., we couldn't have asked for more! We would definitely love to go back when we could spend more time at the cabin. With such gracious hosts we felt right at home. It was a great time to spend with the family!! Thank you so much for providing the perfect home away from home, we can't wait to go back!!
