Beachfront vacation rentals in Moonstone Beach

Cynthia has decorated her home with comfort in mind. Her home was very cozy and comfortable. We walked to the beach every day. My older children walked to a near by Mexican restaurant. Downtown Morro Bay was a short car ride. We had a wonderful time and would stay again!

Hate to give this place a great review as I want to keep it all to my self. Zed and Ana are great with communication and assistance with the location. I had so many questions and they were both prompt in response and had great ideas. The "shack" as they call it is a fun place to crash and relax and fits right into the "feel" of Morro Bay. The owners have done a great job with photos and description of their place. While it is small, l it feels great. Clean, everything provided and accessible. Your own little space to enjoy such a beautiful area. So much to do in this beach town. People are friendly, sights are amazing, plenty of restaurants to choose from and things to do. I will go back as this was one of the most "Cali Feel" areas on my trip. Thanks to Zed and Ana for have a place to share with others.

We had 6 sleep comfortably using the air mattress. We did host dinner for 13 comfortably. Shower pressure was good. Hot water was always present. Had good laundry and dryer machines. Clean place. Convenient location. Can walk downtown in 10 minutes and to the beach in 5 minutes. Check in was easy. I think there was a hiccup because we didn’t receive the door code prior to check in. However, I was able to text Newell, and he called me back with the code. Newell was quick to help us with other minor things to help make our stay enjoyable. One thing to add on is easier access to netflix and amazon prime. The Smart TV only works with Samsung phones. We had to do a hack to connect a laptop to the TV and then use the internet wifi to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. However, this was a minor issue. We loved using the fireplace! We left items behind accidentally, but Newell allowed us to get them. Overall we had a 5 star stay, and we had a memorable and warm time.

Beautiful single family 3br house right by the beach. Very dog friendly yard (fences and gates). Lovely little town with shops and restaurants. Easy check in and check out - highly recommend.

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

We are in Morro Bay at least 2-3 times a year, and almost always stay in the center of town, off the Embarcadero. We are so happy that we found this place last minute! It literally has changed our minds about where to stay when visiting Morro Bay. Staying in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach was really nice, and everything we like was only minutes away by car. This place was a great find and is comfortable, spacious, clean and pet-friendly! The host was very responsive, and keeps the rental in great condition and fully-stocked. Overall just a great stay.

Kit was a wonderful hostess. Fast to respond to questions, suggested things to do. The place was very comfortable, small which was nice as it was easy to move around. Would definitely stay with Kit again.

Unpretentious, cozy and comfortable beach cottage. Our grandkids loved the dinosaur caves park. Daily walks along the bluffs provided good exercise along with spectacular views. Short drive into Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande Village and Grover Beach for great eateries. The Avila Valley Farm was a huge hit with all the kids and a good source of super fresh produce and farm baked goodies. All in all, a wonderful stay!

This was full service location, not a typical airbnb within a Hilton Vacation location, this was a fun shift to our typical home stay bookings. You would have access to a pool, hot tub, fire pit at night, small onsite honor bar, concierge, 24 hour staffing with elevators and restaurants walking distance and an amazing view of the beach at this location. A huge plus is this stay is right on Avila Beach so it felt very much like a vacation for the family even though we were there to move our daughter into Cal Poly adding a special ambiance to our stay.

Kimberly’s RV was clean, fully stocked and ready to go… she had everything set up for us (BBQ, fire pit and chairs) all we did was show up! It was perfect for us. Kimberly was very quick to respond to whatever we needed. We will definitely be using her services again!

An absolutely stunning and serene view from the living room where you can see the ocean, deer, and even a whooping crane! The home is beautifully decorated and clean. There are numerous hiking trails that lead to the ocean. The nearby city of Cambria is quaint. You’ll enjoy your stay.

Exceptionally friendly staff that will absolutely go above and beyond for you! The stay was in a fantastic location, directly on the beach. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing place with breathtaking views of the ocean and overlooking the pool. Host was perfect….communicative but not over bearing, helpful, and very kind. Definitely a steal for the price and you’re guaranteed to leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!

This was our 6th visit to the Hummingbird House! So obviously we love staying there. Everything about it is perfect - the location, the home, the views, the very comfortable beds with nice linens, the art throughout the home, etc! It's a lovely home in a beautiful spot. Patricia is always responsive and very helpful. We plan to be back many more times!!

It was our 61st wedding Anniversary and the Green Cottage was the perfect place to stay for a fine rest. Host provided beautiful fragrant roses and a bottle of wine and stocked the fridge and cabinets with useful items in a very large and complete kitchen. View from the deck was spectacular, a 180 degree view of a bay and sand dunes and countryside behind the bay. We enjoyed watching the countless birds that changed as the tide went in and out. Shops and restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away, but the location was always quiet and peaceful; parking was easy and there were no steps involved, and it was well lit at night. All in all a terrific place to stay and we look forward to returning soon.

We came to California 49 years ago and have been coming to Cayucos many times. We were lucky enough to secure this rental home on the beach again. The November weather was spectacular, the moon was full, our daughter drove over from Las Vegas and as retirees we had a wonderful relaxing fun 7 day visit. We will visit again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night on our road trip up the California Coast. It was such a cozy and cute spot, exactly what we were looking for! The bed was especially comfy and we loved enjoying a wine at the outdoor fire pit in the evening. Could not recommend this spot more.

Thanks for having us back. This time around we had a bit of an inconvenience with previous guest leaving the house a mess, and no maintenance crew sent before our check in, BUT this property's team was quick to send a maintenance crew to the house, and within less than 2 hours the house was clean as it can be. Great maintenance crew, great communication, prompt action, great location. Will definitely come back. Thanks for everything!
