House vacation rentals in Montville

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

Arno and Susan were excellent hosts and incredibly responsive. We had a few glitches due to last minute requests that I made with the rental, and host was responsive and kind. The location is remote and private, right in the heart of nature.

This house is exactly as described and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We could tell that Tracy and Patrick have clearly been doing this for a long time because they thought of everything. There were detailed instructions for everything, the kitchen had everything needed for our brunch and late night snacks. Downstairs is perfect to gather together- but everyone had enough space upstairs for privacy. We had 8 adults (4 couples) and to be honest, the only concern was the 10pm noise ordinance. We are 8 professional adults but we love to have fun- and we are all late night people. On our first night we sat outside, used the hot-tub and had cocktails till 12am and there wasn’t a problem at all. I feel that as long as you are respectful and don’t make excessive noise a you should be fine. The worst part of the trip was leaving because we all loved it so much. We all would come back and I would definitely recommend this home to everyone.

This house was fantastic! We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner here! The house was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to paper products. The layout of the house was great. Jane was very accommodating and made things easy for us! The house was immaculate and met all of our needs. I hope it’s available next Thanksgiving! Perfect location! Close to town, yet quiet and private! It was my granddaughter’s first Thanksgiving and I’m so glad we had this house to celebrate in!

We spent a winter weekend at Mk's place...my husband and I, our teen daughters, and our two dogs. It was a perfect getaway that allowed us to bond as a family but also let my husband and I go to the casino close by for some grown up fun. The game room is awesome - we played some foosball and arcade games but the board game selection was my favorite. The outdoor jacuzzi is well maintained and great for relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and the people we ran into while walking the dogs were very friendly. It's about a 10-minute drive to Mohegan which was key for us since we were in town for an event at the arena. Mk was a great host...clear communication and helpful binders about the home and the area. Amenities were as promised and the house was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was my second stay here with my family and just like last time, we had an amazing time. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We felt right at home and got to experience the beauty of Exeter. It would be my pleasure to make this my yearly stay for me and my family.

Carlos and Sara are wonderful hosts and communicators. Their family friendly home was perfect for our needs. The beds are super comfy and linens and quilts extra clean. We didn’t cook in but if we did the kitchen was well stocked. The waiting basket of treats was a big hit with the kiddos. Thank you Carlos and Sara!

I don’t say this often but the house was even more perfect in person. So cute with great amenities. The hosts were amazing. The area has so much to do and all so close ! Can’t say enough good things!

My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Chet’s home in Greenport. Perfect location, close enough to walk into town but also removed enough for privacy. Highly recommended!

We were coming to Block Island to celebrate my daughter's wedding. I was in contact with Sara prior to. She was always so helpful and quickly responded to any questions I had. Her home was beautifully decorated and very spacious. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your next visit to Block Island. We will definitely be back!

I lost count of how many times I had booked Chana's place. My family and I are always satisfied with the hospitality of Chana and team! The place is as described on the listing and is the same as in the pictures. The house is clean and has every basic thing that you need. The host quickly response to our questions. We will definitely book again when we come back!

Kait was super helpful! She texted me a few days prior mentioning we could check in early! I have never had that happen before! The house was stunning, comfortable beds, well maintained and great location. We forgot a jewelry bag at the house and she sent a photo and arranged for our family members near by to pick it up. Highly recommend!!!

We'd been looking forward to coming back to The Recycle House since we first stayed there in 2022. Safe to say it was just as we remembered it...great house, great location, wonderful community. Looking forwarded to returning.

We loved our stay at Jimbo's. All the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The whole family enjoyed chilling out in the comfy sofas with a nice library in the living area. We all and in particular our dog loved the huge, green and well maintained lawn. He had so much fun with all the space to run and play! For us the greenery was very relaxing. The location is good - a 5 minute walk from the ice cream store, 12 minute walk from Crescent Beach (with the happening Sunset Beach Club), a 5 minute drive from the IGA, and a 5 minute drive from North Ferry. The furthest we had to drive was a 12 minute drive to Rams Head Point. The outdoor shower was lovely! Jimbo was very friendly and very responsive including providing some very efficient "tech support" on the dryer even though he was out of town. The issue was a confusing light on the dryer and some user error and was easily resolved on the phone. Additional towels were dropped off upon request. A pretty comprehensive set of silverware, plate settings, and kitchen utensils made it a fun and easy stay. Thank you Mary and Jimbo for sharing your house, we had precious moments there and we highly recommend it !

Carrie’s house is better than in the pics. The yard makes the place private and quiet (a small refuge near the beach). The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped! The outdoor shower actually had both cold and hot water. It is a great place. Carrie responds almost immediately to any inquiries or questions! The home is a seven minute walk from the beach and is a great place to spend the week or weekend!! Remember: Bring your own towels and sheets (not provided: Carrie sends reminders about this as well).

We had zero issues. Which was perfect because I was very overwhelmed and busy preparing for my husband’s surprise birthday dinner at my house, while he was away at the Airbnb.

Cozy cottage near beach and within artistic community of Charlestown. Rooms were comfortable. House had all of the amenities required to settle in and enjoy our stay. Liz was friendly and quick to communicate.

We all loved it. The home had lots of room, clean and inviting. The casinos were close and lots of restaurants there. We didn't venture out to do much else but had a blast. Wish we could have seen more of the outside but had snow the night we arrived. But everything was gorgeous covered in snow. There was small restaurant/bar with a pool table and darts right around the corner. It was quiet and serene. Will definitely look forward to going back.
