Great spot near the ocean. A short walk to the beach. Beautiful house that was well kept. A wonderful place to stay.

We felt right at home. We loved walking across the street to the walking path along the ocean. Pacific Grove is very quaint and relaxing. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4! We would love to come back another time!

The location was perfect! Ocean views and sounds were so peaceful. Beds and pillows were so comfortable.

Conveniently located in close proximity to Salinas Airport. Spacious room as advertised. the temperature in the room and house felt just right throughout the stay. the duvet and pillows are light and comfortable. Thanks for letting me use some of your hairstyling gel!!!!

An incredible place to stay. The scenery and surroundings of the ocean are beautiful. The beach is right in front of the rooms just steps away. The rooms are clean and modern. Everyone in the staff from front desk to restaurant service were always friendly and helpful. I could not recommend this hotel enough. It’s honestly better than staying in downtown or anywhere in the wharf or cannery row area. A+

We had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s beautiful place. The guest house and garden are stunning and well maintained, and the amenities were exactly as described and more. Philippe and his wife are true hosts and created a traditional “B&B experience” for us, stocking the kitchen and bathroom with snacks, breakfast items and bathroom essentials. They even offered us some homemade cake, which was delicious. 5 stars through and through.

Our host Marco was great, with pro active communications, and clear answers to questions. House was in great shape, Very clean throughout. Modern furniture, and very livable space.

Loved the location as it was quiet, peaceful, walk to beach and close to Monterey and Santa Cruz. Warm and welcoming home. Danka was very responsive during our stay.

Blue Diamond was just what we needed for this special trip. Super peaceful location, beautiful scenery, and the house was great. Deb was obviously thoughtful about everything in the house. It was the most completely livable and comfortable place we’ve rented. We had every kitchen tool, plenty of games, comfy and clean beds and bathrooms. We hope to be back!

This property is located in a secluded and quiet and very magical and moody place with seagrass, sand, fog and waves. I loved it. There's a great coffee house up the street and an endless beach for walking or running. Just what I was looking for. My only complaint has to do with the wi-fi, it was intermittent and often didn't work. I'm not sure that is anything to do with the property owner it might simply be the location. I didn't mind it too much and neither did my family because this is a place where you put away your electronic devices.

Super cozy and comfortable place! (Beds were very comfy) Janice even had a few snacks and drinks for us when we arrived which was much appreciated with kids. The patio view was amazing. Monterey is a beautiful city and would stay here again!

Beautiful location, house was clean and comfortable, check in and out were easy and the host responded right away when we forgot something and needed to go back after checkout to retrieve.

We stayed at Biff’s place for one week in the beginning of August. As the beach house in the Monterey Dunes Colony is administrated centrally, the communication with the host was kept to a minimum. All the information needed were given in advance online and in a packet at the gate. That was absolutely okay for us. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the colourful sand dunes and the feeling of having a private beach directly in our backyard (10 seconds walking distance). The beach is wide and at no time too busy – ideal for playing with kids. However, there are some restrictions, e.g. flying a kite is forbidden due to the protection of squeakers. This Airbnb is really nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped, however some more tableware and cutlery would have been great. The whole interior design is made with love (e.g. the huge and cute teddy bears in the children’s room), so that everyone can feel like being at home. The view from the living room/one bedroom is stunning.

This Airbnb was awesome! We took day trips to Monterey & Big Sur from here and loved coming back to walk the beach in the evenings and watch the sunset. There are so many birds here constantly flying around and enjoying the river habitat. Watching them out the windows was a highlight!

If you are looking for a relaxing and secluded time this place is amazing. We had the beach mainly to ourselves. Beautiful view for sunset and sunrise from the living room and deck.

Honestly the only awful thing about this stay was having to leave it. So incredibly peaceful. I loved not having a tv, that was such a nice surprise. Everything was so warm and inviting. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a crib board. lol. But honestly, such a peaceful, stunningly beautiful location. 10 min into Carmel and views that were breathtaking. Extremely clean place with such thoughtful little extras thrown in. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had an amazing trip with our daughters family! We all absolutely loved the house and the area, and can't wait to come back and stay again!!! Janet was more than willing to do anything to make our stay perfect! It was my 50th birthday and she even hung up Happy Birthday banner for me :-) Thank you, Janet for everything! We really enjoyed your home and can't wait to stay again!!!!!

Just have to say this stay was fabulous. We enjoyed the wonderful view every morning while we where there and the evening walks with the family. The beach chair and toys where provided and that was such a great help. House was great from the entering of the house to the point we had to check out. I would highly recommend it for any family that wants to get away for a weekend. My family and I where very much appreciate the ladies at the office and security at night everyone was always very friendly and helpful..

A group of 4 of us stayed at Luke's place—we had a blast! A lot of our exploring was done in Big Sur and Pinnacles, and it was just so convenient to come back and jump in the hot tub for a couple hours. This place is perfect for a tight knit group, the beds were super comfy and Luke would always make sure we had what we neeeded. We would definitely go back :)

We spent a week- very comfortable with a wonderful kitchen, a flat walk from the car into the front door. This AirBnB is surrounded by dunes- not only the back patio, other upper units overlook a courtyard sand-dune-garden, -ramps, decks & staircases everywhere- beneath Monterey Cypress trees! A door leads out the back of this garden to the beach… explore north to Sunset State Beach, and south to the Pajaro River- without a car! We drove to: 1. Hike at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (~$10). 2. Hike Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Reserve- free & terrific Slough info. 3. Kayak or paddle board from the North Harbor of Moss Landing (parking)- the $$$ Kayak rental shops are here- best way to see otters, pelicans, etc. -don’t get TOO close! 4. Kirby Park- a free/grungy place for parking/launching in the Slough- NO boat traffic… or PM Winds! 5. Hike Fort Ord National Monument- trail #28 at Creekside Terrace TH- off Reservation Rd from RT 68. Get paper trail maps near the restrooms.
