Family-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Gordo

We had a really pleasant stay of 2 weeks. The accommodation is very clean and very functional. The neighborhood is peaceful. The owners are very friendly. There are many exceptional beaches in this part of the algarve and beautiful cities to visit (Tavira, Loulé etc). We will be happy to come back and enjoy this region whose sweetness of life perfectly coincided with the services of this accommodation.

It was my first Airbnb, I think what I find in others will never live up to what I was able to discover here. I don't even have the words to describe the welcome, the cleanliness, the place, all the amenities brought, etc,.. it was so amazing. A 5 out of 5 stars well deserved.

We had a great holiday with the family in the Vila. The children enjoyed themselves in the pool and jacuzzi. In the area you can do everything within walking distance. We recommend it to everyone!

Loved everything about Liliana and Telmo's place. Just a short walk down the hill to the waterfront and lots of restaurants. Easy to get around. the place was very tastefully appointed, clean and comfortable. The directions for entry were clear and there were tons and tons of recommendations. When I needed help on something, Telmo came within minutes to help me get access to the streaming channels and it was fixed in no time. He also offered to drive us to a favorite restaurant of his. There wasn't anything they wouldn't do to help. Thanks Liliana and Telmo for a wonderful stay. I will recommend to other friends visiting Albufeira for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leonel Martin's lovely place in Tavira. We all had our privacy during our stay and the space to prepare meals, dine together and socialize. We left our car parked in the free parking nearby and did not use the car for our time in Tavira as the whole town is very walkable. It was just a short walk to the market, and the supermarket and there were many nice restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Would highly recommend staying here !!!

Our stay at João's villa was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, with breathtaking views overlooking the beaches and easy access to scenic walks and fantastic restaurants. The villa itself was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the wine and food waiting for us upon arrival. João was a great host—responsive, welcoming, and ensuring we had a great experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Manuel has a great place, he takes care of his hosts and he truly goes out of his way to make sure that you feel at home.

Leanor's place was amazing and the photos do not do it justice. It was like a holiday on a filmset. There were so many activities for the children as well as plenty of spaces and nooks for the adults. The kitchen was well supplied with appliances and crockery and it was only a 5 minute drive to the supermarket and shops. We highly recommend the home. Janice

Norbert is a super friendly and super helpfull Person! The House looks in Reality the Same, like on the Fotos! I used the Grill/BBQ on the Rooftop 5 Times in 7 Days! Hot Water is super, in the Shower and in the Kitchen! The TV was super! I watched Youtube all the Week! (in the Evenings) The Bed downstairs is super comfortable, 'bout the one upstairs, I can't say anything, 'cause I didn't used it! Check In and Out, was very easy! Norbert explained everything in the House, made a smal Walk with me, trough the Neighborhood, and showed me a exelent almoço Restaurant, near by! After that, he brought me with his car to the Supermarket, what is 20 Minutes on Foot away. He didn't had to do this, but he did it! A very Fine Person! IF YOU COME TO OLHÃO, THIS HOUSE IS TOP!

The space is fantastic. Nice and family atmosphere. Dona Isabel and her husband are spectacular hosts, we feel at home! The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we did not lack any household utensils. The pictures don't do the pool justice, it's better in person. Cleaning very well done. The location is also a very positive point for the stay. Recommend 100%

We have just spent a month at this villa and had an amazing stay. The villa is situated in an ideal position within walking distance of the beach and with some lovely restaurants/supermarkets in close proximity. Everything is provided within the villa for cooking , plenty of cutlery, plates , glasses, washing machine and coffee machine . The villa is very airy but when we had our grandchildren out for a week we found it very noisy and echoey only due to the high ceiling within the living area . The noise from the outside road can be heard quite a lot too and we were out of season. The outdoor area is lovely ,the pool great with plenty of sun beds . Ana was amazing as a host and always responded to our texts quickly . Check in /out was simple and quick. The only negative we had about the villa was the next door dog which loudly barked a lot when the owners were out and sometimes at night . This could be anytime during the day from 7.30am onwards, otherwise an amazing stay .

Truly paradise, it is a wonderful place with a lovely homelike feel. João is very kind!

Perfect place to slow down and enjoy! We had a family reunion and there was space for everyone to feel comfortable. Kids had a blast with animals and all the equipment available to them. We will definitely come back and will recommend to anyone planning a stay with friends or family.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our time at Helenas place und would definitely recommend it, if you're looking for a quiet place, but still not far from the tourist spots.

Tiago's place far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful house, with many possibilities, very comfortable, clean and cared for, and with everything you need to make our stay fantastic. 100% recommended

Lovely Villa, well located... 5 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins walk to the Strip, 20 mins walk along the beach to the old town. Clean, well stocked with kitchen equipment etc.. pool (albeit a little cold) and surrounding were well maintained. Transport company arranged by Jay, was seconded to none, lovely people very kind. Communication at the villa to the representative that checked us in was brilliant, any queries were sort and responded to immediately. We would definitively return :)

A wonderful villa, located in a quiet and peaceful area. Fernando was helpful and responsive to all our needs. An ideal place to stay nearby to the marina in Vilamoura.

We had a great stay. It’s a beautiful view house both inside and outside. It has all kinds of amenities including automatic black out shades and comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Large windows and great light. Fabio was fantastic always helpful and very responsive. The location was great for visiting the coast. 15 -20 minutes to the beaches, 10 to the grocery store and restaurants. We were two couples and the house has 2 bedrooms on either side so it felt we each had our own wing of the house.

Just had a 3 night stay in this property. Close to the marina and all local bars / restaurant. Maria was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out. Responds to e mails etc very quickly. Quite a quiet street with no disturbances, there is a large garden and communal pool to use. Property itself is a little dated but had plenty of amenities and was clean on arrival.

Nice spacious house on three floors with loads of room and a great pool for kids, you will need a car as the nearest supermarkets are a drive away, but is convenient to the aqua park and equidistant to Villamoura and Quarteria

The house is spacious, very nice, with all the necessary amenities. Calm condominium, quiet environment. The condominium pool was a little dirty but not yet high season and there was rain. Still we were able to take advantage of the space. We really enjoyed!

We absolutely loved Sergio’s villa, it had everything we needed, with magnificent views across the valley. It was sooo peasant and pleasant. The kids loved the heated pool and the garden. We will be back!!!!

The apartment is very nice and comfortably equipped (everything you need). The complex is in a beautiful area and is pleasantly quiet. We had a rental car but you can easily walk to the port or beach. We had a good time and saw a lot. João is a great host, always helpful. Thank you.
