This was a beautiful and peaceful stay! The views are out of a magazine and the apartment itself was beautifully rustic. If you want a true countryside experience and to be out of the hustle and bustle, this is for you. The place was perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. In addition Sara and Marcelo, the ‘local contacts’ were extremely nice and helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and the two were immediately responsive and helped save the day haha. Great place, would recommend if you are looking to have a peaceful countryside experience.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Alex is an amazing host. She made us feel so welcome. The apartment was very Tuscan quaint and the location was wonderful for driving around Tuscany.

I recently stayed at this B&B and the experience was really positive. The property is cozy and well cared for, with clean and comfortable rooms. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxing, ideal for both a short stay and a longer vacation. Lovely historical city within walking distance and plenty of outside space for the small ones to go on adventure. The communication was smooth, friendly and professional. We will come back for sure😊

A truly stunning place with incredibly welcoming hosts. The villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The interior is filled with beautiful historic furniture, details, paintings, and books. The cozy fireplace in the living room added a special charm. We loved making pizza in our very own wood-fired oven, using the outdoor BBQ, and dining al fresco surrounded by breathtaking views. Every moment at Poggio del Fattore felt special, offering the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in style!

This was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and private with beautiful views. Lots of wonderful villages to visit and explore within a 30 minute drive. Norma made some great reservations for our anniversary dinner as well as a couple of great wine tours. She also gave us recommendations of which villages were best to visit and what to do there. We highly recommend doing the cooking lessons with her family. They are such a nice family and were very eager to show us how to cook a traditional Tuscan meal. Grandma really is an amazing cook. They even sat with us as a family to share what we had cooked. We have been to many AirBnB’s and Norma has been our best host by far. We would go back the next time we visit Tuscany. Dave and Liz

A wonderful location. Flavia is an exceptional host: welcome with a tourist introduction to the Val d'Orcia and tasting of the excellent lotus wine (to be bought absolutely, with excellent prices). For every need, Flavia is super helpful and quick to solve problems. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need to immerse yourself in country life! Highly recommended.

This is one of those rare places that’s even more beautiful in person than in photos. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, thanks to the warm and welcoming hosts. The landscape is stunning, with breathtaking views, especially at sunrise. Thank you Ian for the nice time. We definitely would love to come back.

La Bulletta has remained in our hearts! The place is enchanting, you are immersed in nature and the location is always well ventilated in the afternoon and night. The pool is an added value,after all our laps a nice bathroom to regenerate was appreciated by everyone. Daniele, with her sister Emanuela and little Lucia, dad and mom are really wonderful, they gave us tips about the surroundings and more. We will definitely be back!!!

Had the best weekend in Giovanni's apartment. Red wine and Toscana's sun set made thus journey unforgettable. Highly recommend for all who are seeking for a quiet, relaxing weekend in the countryside.

We had a lovely holiday in Tuscany. The villa is surrounded by beautiful scenery with lots of day trip options nearby. We added on a cooking class with Raimondo and Viola (Nada's daughter) and learnt so much. We will definitely be making fresh pasta from now on! The villa is well equipped, and nicely furnished.

This Airbnb was an absolute dream. Perfectly located in the countryside, it offered incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills—sunrises and sunsets were simply unforgettable. The property was charming, spotless, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm and helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel right at home. It was the ideal spot to unwind and experience the beauty of Tuscany. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This was our second time at Il Vichiaccio and I hope it's not the last. In fact, this Airbnb is the entire reason we had Tuscany on our trip itinerary. Beatrice and Massimo are the most wonderful hosts in the world. Besides simply being great people to chat with, they are hospitable in providing some of their homemade wine and eggs. There's nothing more special than relaxing in the hot tub with the vineyard views and walking up the hill to dinner at Il Cavaliere in the castle. Our only complaint is that we did not see the kitty cat this time! She was our favorite host when we visited 3 years ago. Oh well, I guess we'll have to book again soon and try once more :)

We really enjoyed it there. Unfortunately, we could not use the beautiful swimming pool and the barbecue area due to our tight schedule - we will probably have to come again ;)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.

Super happy night, the whole family is very satisfied ~ slept very well!After getting up in the morning, the breakfast at the door with a view was impressive ~ Anyway, highly recommended!

We throughly enjoyed our stay! It was so quiet with beautiful views of Tuscany. The wine tour was so interesting followed by several tastings and a delicious lunch! A must!! Would certainly stay again and recommend to friends as well.
