We were there with kids and grandkids. The place was great. Pl enty of room, just as advertised. Hot tub. was great. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The place was exactly as described and even better than the photos let on. The place was spotless and the views were fantastic. Lots of detailed instructions and recommendations for things to do in the area. The only mild criticism I would have is that for a $220 cleaning fee we were expected to do much of the cleaning ourselves. We had to wipe all counters/surfaces, strip bed linens, etc. Happy to do these things as I like to treat AirBnb homes as if they are mine, with the greatest respect. However, that was a bit surprising considering the fee amount. Please know, that criticism is BEYOND minor bc the home was absolutely stunning and let me and my friends have a wonderful time in gorgeous surroundings. HIGHLY recommend!

Cute little cabin with everything we needed for the weekend stay. Extremely clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and hot. Pay attention to reviews about interior spiral staircase. Overall this place exceeded our expectations!!!

I loved my stay at Sarah's Purple Cottage. Relaxing and Beautiful. The cottage was adorable and had everything I needed. The hot tub and private beach were both incredible.

We had an incredible stay at Nick’s cabin! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding nature provided a peaceful escape, and the privacy was outstanding—even with nearby properties, it truly felt like a secluded retreat in the woods. The amenities were top-notch; I especially enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Nick was an exceptional host—quick to respond and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic break from the hustle and bustle. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Hi Jim, Huge thanks for the early check-in! It gave my husband and me a chance to just crash and recharge. The bed and pillows were insanely comfortable—we slept so much! Breathing in the fresh forest air was pure magic, and I loved starting my mornings with coffee on the deck, just soaking in the quiet. This place is such a gem, and we’d absolutely stay again. Jim is an awesome host—responsive, accommodating, and super welcoming. Big thanks to both Jim and Chris!

This place was wonderful! The pictures did not do it justice. The view was spectacular. The house itself was very quaint and spacious. Though there was only one bathroom, it was large and spacious as well. Perfect for two guests. We had a wonderful time just sitting and enjoying the view. Thanks to Annette for making our Vashon Island visit more than we could have hoped for.

The cottage was the perfect getaway for the day after our wedding. It has perfect views from the kitchen and bedroom. It was a peaceful location with the water right off the back porch. The hot tub was also a great amenity.

Amaris is very responsive and helpful and her house is so spacious, clean and well maintained. My kids loved being able to take bubble baths in the oversized tubs and so did I🙂 We also loved the roof top deck and the view was so beautiful especially at night with all the city lights. The beds and comforters were so cozy I want to buy some like that for my own bed! Another thing we loved was after a busy day we could come back to a very quiet peaceful neighborhood home and rest. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. Lighthouse roasters made amazing coffees and have a really great vibe. We cannot recommend Amaris and her property highly enough. Will be staying there again.

Our stay began with a personal note and pastries from a local French bakery. The space was charming and homey. Renee was very responsive yet respected our space. We enjoyed the patio and garden area which was beautiful. Neighborhood was peaceful and walkable to nearby coffee shops. We left feeling like we made a friend.

A really nice little space to be cozy on a quick trip to the city! It was very private and the accommodation was very nice. Comfy beds, nice rooms, and fairly quiet. Would book again!

The Loft was lovely; it was a great getaway. It was clean, quiet, and cozy and the view is beautiful from the whole place. The kitchen was completely functional. The way the downstairs is set up made it east to travel with my dog. There is lots of bird life to watch too. Getting down to the beach is an easy walk from the Loft. The bed upstairs is very comfortable and the view of the sound from that perch was a treat. An added bonus was that it is just a walk down the beach to go see the Troll by the lighthouse! We had a lovely long weekend there.

Dog friendly is an understatement. You can tell Rene is a fan of dogs. She had many amenities for the pooches, from towels, wipes, dog treats galore, down to having water and food bowls too. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood where we were able to let the dogs out to play and go potty without any concerns. This is a peaceful home away from home. We spent lots of time relaxing and resting -- this place was exactly what we needed. We like to utilize the kitchen and cook while we are on getaways. Most kitchens have the bare bone minimal kitchen utensils and cookware. We had everything we needed, to include an abundance of different spices. And for those who are Pampered Chef lovers, she even has a few PC items. The bathrooms/bedrooms have plenty of supplies to include full-size shower needs. Tons of bedding and linens too. I love that, as lots of places give you only a couple of towels and such for your stay. It was nice not to rashon the linens. 2 thumbs up!

We've come back to Sunset Cottage many times, and relish the long walks on the beach. We used to only come in the summer, but have learned to love the cold weather and clear air in the winter as well. Walking on the beach and seeing the frost in the early morning light, with the Olympics clear and bold in the background, is awesome!

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

ashley & mike's place was very clean! we had enough room for everyone in my party to have their own bed, and most things were walkable! the neighbors in the condos around us were a bit loud, but nothing too much. wonderful place & wonderful hosts.

The host met me when I arrived to show me around and made me feel right at home. Also, the hosts had left croissants, fruit and yogurt for me as well as fresh flowers on the kitchen table. It's amazing how much difference those little touches can make - I felt welcomed. The property was just as advertised and fit my needs perfectly. The only drawback for me is that the bed has a Tempurpedic (or similar) mattress, which I don't find comfortable, although I know many others like them. Because of the mattress I probably would not stay again - but that is the only reason, everything else was wonderful.

Emma's place was perfect for our family. Loved that there was a box of toys and kids books to entertain our littles. The location is also perfect. Halfway between pike place and the Space Needle, everything was super walkable. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was AMAZING! House was fully stocked, super clean, beds were comfy and nice corner view of the water. A greeter was outside waiting when we arrived and helped us get all checked in. Location couldn’t get much better, walking distance to just about everything. Building itself felt very safe for being in downtown. On the note about downtown it is very loud, but that is to be expected. We had such a pleasant time. Gale was very responsive and helpful in every way. We would recommend to everyone!

This was my 3rd time staying at Kim’s place! This place is great, as it is very walkable to shopping and restaurants and it’s always super clean! Kim is very quick to respond to my questions.
