Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mondello Beach

we really enjoyed our 9 day stay at Don Ciccio Seahouse. We were a family group of 10 ranging in age from 23 to 86 years old. There are plenty of different areas and rooms both indoors and outdoors for everyone to have their own space as well as be all together for meals for example. The garden is very pleasant and the pool area beautifully maintained as well as spacious, with great views. We had 2 hire cars and it would be difficult without. I'd definitely recommend a car to go to the shops, restaurants, station etc... Going into Palermo was easy using the train, the station is 5min drive away and has a free carpark. Mattro was a really great host, very responsive and really helpful with everything. He gave us a great introduction to an amazing local bakery/deli which we visited every day! Definitely recommend the house 😀

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

Staying at the villa of Roberto was an amazing experience. We were able to use the bbq and the pizza oven to get the real Sicilian feeling. Roberto was very warm and welcome and always available to anwer our questions. Thanks Roberto!

Simply the most beautiful and charming Airbnb I’ve ever been, the stunning private outdoor terrace was a plus on top of an exquisite design and incredible attention to the details and comfort Each room with very high ceilings is the best combo of history and modern comforts, The are can’t be any better, because very quite and yet just in the city center Host always very responsive Superb!

My family of 12 had a great stay at Giovanni’s villa. It has plenty of space and common areas. The location is unbeatable. Once you walk outside of the villa, it’s 10 steps to the beach. Two things to note, which didn’t bother us but may for others….bed are not comfortable at all and the kitchen is quite small for such a large house. Like I said, it wasn’t an issue for us! Overall, we had such a great week and would come back in a heartbeat!

Elena’s house was an oasis of style, beaty and tranquility. We were a bit worried of staying on Sicily in winter, but the house was very warm and cosy! We enjoyed staying there a lot!

David is a very good host. He and Donatella waited for us at the apartment on our arrival. On request, he had arranged an airport pickup for us. When we were sharing our interests, he shared a long list of restaurants he recommends as well as places to visit. He even shared the link to a local conservation group and we were able to hook up with a birding guide. He also put us in touch with Francesco who drove us to many day trips! David is very responsive. The apartment is ideally located to walk to all the historical sites in Palermo as well as excellent restaurants. The unit is very compact and small, but with all the amenities one needs. Just one floor to climb. The building has an elevator that we used only to carry our luggage during checkin and checkout.

We loved the location of the apartment which is right in the center, although the street can be quite noisy at night. The accommodation is well equipped especially the kitchen and Sabrina is very attentive!

The apartment, although small, is equipped with everything you need, it was clean and comfortable. The center was easily accessible on foot. The stay was pleasant!

Michelangelo gave us a very good welcome, including getting into the limited traffic zone. The apartment is very close to the center with private parking and there is really everything you need. You can get everywhere on foot. This city of Palermo full of contrasts and richness really seduced us. Very nice stay.

Honestly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Gracious host who couldn’t have done more to help us. Very quiet location in the middle of busy Palermo, you won’t find better anywhere else.

We had a great week at Leanne’s apartment in wonderful Palermo. It’s the perfect base to explore the city from and a calm setting to start and end the day. Leanne was really helpful with any questions we had, responding instantly and gave us local recommendations when we arrived. We were visiting with our toddler and Leanne left some toys for him to play with, really making a home from home! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Palermo and want a memorable time ✨

We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Very clean and well renovated apartment. Spacious and comfortable bedroom. There was everything you needed at check-in, including much appreciated little touches. The apartment is in a neighborhood that seems a little average.. a little dirty but we had no worries in the neighborhood , when we were only 3 girls. It is close to all the things to see. In short, if you don't mind the environment, I recommend the place!

Very helpful check in with Simonas father. Allowed us to drop and leave luggage. Spacious and very well equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. No issues again. Would highly recommend. Great central location. Walkable to train station.

Such a lovely place and great hosts. The apartment is clean, close to main sights and restaurants, and has everything you need. Felt right at home. The hosts were accommodating for an early check in and late check out. They’re great. The area can be quite loud since bars surround it. For the average/light sleeper, I’d recommend earplugs. Manageable if you bring them. Would absolutely return here and recommend to anyone.

We, a family with four children aged 6 to 17, had a wonderful week in Palermo in October. The area was pleasant, with relatively few other tourists, as well as plenty of nice restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and supermarkets. Based on various articles, we had low expectations for public transport, but bus lines like 101 and 806 were frequent and reliable.

The location was in the city center, the only downside was finding parking but that is not unique to this Airbnb! The rooms were spacious!
