Cottage vacation rentals in Moira Lake

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much space, with my group of 6 we didn't even get to spend time everywhere because of how much they have. There's two separate patio sets on the deck, sun room, two separate living rooms, gorgeous spacious kitchen all open concept, all right in front of a body of water with kayaks, sail boats, etc. The dock is a beautiful spot to also spend time and gaze at the stars at night. I can't recommend this spot enough.

Cottage was the perfect size for our group of 12 (6 adults/6 kids). We had plenty of rain during our stay and we did not feel cramped inside at all! Plenty of board games available and the big comfy family room was great for watching movies. The kitchen was ideal for prepping and enjoying our big family meals. Kids had so much fun on the available kayaks and paddle boards! Dock was great for swimming from and for our annual cannonball competition :) The decks overlooking the lake gave amazing views of the sunsets and the nightly loon calls! The fire pit is perfectly placed lakeside which gave beautiful full moon reflections off of the lake!! Our group had an amazing holiday with many memories made!! We would definitely plan another vacation at this spot. Thank you Laurie!!

We had a great stay at the cabin. The property was beautiful and there was plenty to do inside and out. The cabin was very comfortable and warm despite cooler temps outside. The availability of EV charging was a bonus. We would definitely return again!

Jonah & Caleb’s Airbnb is great! We stayed over New Year’s and really enjoyed our time there. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while it was snowing. The space was perfect for our group of 8, with plenty of room and even board games to keep us entertained. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

What a perfect little piece of paradise! Hubby and I were looking for a place to just do nothing for a few days. This place fits the bill. It has a beautiful lakefront where we could watch the sunrise and a long cottage road where we could hike. We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to come back to the real world.

The cottage was perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). The kids had a blast fishing off the dock. We caught a lot of sunfish and some largemouth bass! We also had fun using the paddle boat (just make sure to bring your own life jackets). Olti is a great host and was very responsive to our questions.

The cottage was very accommodating and beautiful to stay for the weekend for 13 adults. It matched the pictures perfectly. The outdoor space was great and very peaceful. There are neighbour’s next to the property but they were quiet and friendly. Asanaga was a very friendly and responsive host.

Fantastic place to stay for our annual winter getaway with friends! Haoxu's place was comfortable and cozy for 4 couples (3 stayed in the main cottage, and 1 in the bunkie). The open kitchen/dining/living room space was spacious for us to spread out or gather around as we felt like it. We enjoyed the sauna, and it was so peaceful to look outside and see the ducks swimming on the lake. Kitchen was well equipped. Would stay here again; amazing value for a 3 night stay.

We had a great stay at The Red Haus. It is very private, lots of space for larger groups, expansive property. Well stocked kitchen. We travel often air bnb in Ontario with friends, and our group said this was the best stay thusfar. Thank you Victoria and Rohan. We would like to return in future if you would have us. Geoff

The cottage was perfect for a winter weekend away! It has a cozy modern feel and an incredible view of the lake. It was very clean, well organized and beautifully decorated inside and out. The lighting down the path to the water was magical! It is clear there was a lot of thought and care put into this cottage. Also, Nick was very responsive and friendly. Great host! Highly recommended!

This is our second trip to Greg’s cottage and once again, we are blown away by how incredible everything was. The cottage is cozy and has all basic amenities, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is modern with a wonderful shower, and the kitchen is well stocked. When we weren’t enjoying the hot tub or taking advantage of the new sauna (what a fantastic edition!), we enjoyed lazing around on the couch watching movies. We love Greg’s cottage and will absolutely be back! Don’t hesitate to book this stay!

Aaron was extremely helpful, responsive, and very accommodating with some last minute items that came up on our end. Very family friendly cottage with a wonderful view, awesome basement den, and great bedroom. I think there’s an instant hot water heater so we never had hot water issues which is a big plus in the area. Awesome place and host!

This lakehouse is such a special place, with a view that will make you say “wow” every time you look out the window - and there’s lots of windows so you’ll be saying it a lot! Benita was the perfect host, friendly, thoughtful, and organized. I can’t wait to come back to enjoy the lakehouse again. I especially loved the kitchen, fireplace, cathedral ceilings, and impeccable design. It felt like home. The setting is so relaxing, surrounded by mature trees and landscaping, and the house is so close to the water it almost feels like you’re on a boat house. We loved having the fireplace going and looking out to the lake. Thank you for the beautiful stay, Benita. We can’t recommend your place enough ❤️

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Our stay at Mike’s cottage on Rice Lake was wonderful! The location was beautiful, and Mike was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and attentive to every detail, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable experience. Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

Jessica and Faruk’s place was perfect for a getaway with our friends. It was really cozy and matched the photos and descriptions from the listing exactly! Waking up in the morning and walking into the living room area was such a great - the view onto the lake is stunning! The hosts were very responsive and got back to us quickly about any questions we had about the place. There were also tons of great recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible time, the place was absolutely stunning and matched all the details perfectly. It's the perfect spot to get away, while still being close enough to Lakefield to enjoy the little town. Jacqui was always so fast to respond and communicate, and was so friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome thanks to Casey and Moose who went out of their way to create a warm, inviting vibe. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was peaceful and private, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The little touches, like cozy blankets, fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful amenities such as multiple streaming options and games, really made the stay easy and enjoyable.

Mike was very welcoming and understanding of our party size during the check-in. He had also explained all special instructions clearly. Nawar and Mike were very very responsive and very helpful with our requests during the stay. 10/10 would stay again!

This is an enchanted cottage! Spent Christmas with my family at Pineview Cottage and we fell in love! From the fresh flowers and candy canes that greeted us when we walked in the door, to the very well equiped kitchen that is stocked with everything! The Christmas tree was stunning and the decorations were beautiful and made us all feel at home! The beds were so comfortable and sheets super soft! Everything was shovelled so you could easily access any point around the cottage. The hot tub was perfect on those cold nights, very easy access. The views of the lake from the cottage are spetacular and we were greeted every afternoon with swans and ducks! Love all the windows which let in so much light. The cottage is spacious and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you step in the door! Thank you Cassey for your quick responses! You made our family Christmas wonderful, cannot thank you enough! Highly recommend Pineview Cottage, we all can't wait to come back!

A great find - stunning lake views and a clean, beautiful cottage. We had lots of fun, really enjoying the scenery. Fabulous patio and dock seating options for hanging out with your group outside or inside. Would book again!
