Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Mission Bay, San Diego

Jeff’s place was perfect for work trip to San Diego. I was looking for an upscale hotel with a kitchen (suite) and a nice gym and couldn’t find anything that fit the bill. Their unit met all of my needs while giving me access to Balboa park for early morning running. Will definitely return when I’m in San Diego next. Thanks to both of you!

John was a great host with fantastic communication. The unit was as advertised, clean, and in a great location for anyone looking to explore the Gaslamp District or attend a convention.

This is a beautiful apartment, situated down a quiet street but close to all the action. It's a short walk to get to the beach or the bay, and Mission Boulevard has some great cool shops, bars, restaurants and overall a very chill vibe. The apartment is really excellent, very comfortable and smart, everything worked well. Angela was an extremely responsive host. We were 5 adults with some golf bags, so we rented a VW Atlas and parked it in the garage every night - it's a bit fiddly because it is relatively narrow, but we managed it in a couple of minutes, no problem.

My husband and I loved our stay in San Diego! Would love to return in the future! The view from Clayton’s listing allowed us to watch the Rodeo live on the big screen from Petco Park. We initially were visiting for the Rodeo but only got tickets for the final day however, we were able to watch the previous days from the living room.

Great location in the lively Gaslamp Quarter. KK’s home was gorgeous and looks just like the advertised photos. My boyfriend and I were very happy with the accommodation. The only heads up I would give people is it gets very loud at night, if you are a light sleeper this may be a challenge. Overall I would recommend this accommodation for people who love to be close to the action!

This property was comfortable and had all the amenities for us to enjoy our time in the home and at the beach! The location was perfect for accessing the beach, restaurants, and shops. We would happily stay here again.

Great apartment, well stocked kitchen with spices, pots, pans and nice coffeemaker. Very comfortable bed! Easy access to highway and easy to drive everywhere. Further from La Jolla village than I anticipated (but I hadn’t looked at map closely) but easy to get to. Jacuzzi and gym were a plus, it was too cold for the pool but that would be awesome in the summer. Loved out visit and appreciated late checkout.

Judith made the whole process seamless, from check-in to check-out. The space was perfect for our needs and centrally located for all of our planned activities. We would definitely book this space again when we visit San Diego. An added bonus was early check-in. The only recommendation would be a small trash container in the bathroom. Otherwise, the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed with everything we might need.

Had a lovely romantic weekend here. It was peaceful and quiet and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast in the mornings. There were extra linens for the pullout sofa and the heater and air conditioner both worked great. Torrey Pines Stare beach was close by, as well as many lovely restaurants at La Jolla. The hosts were great at communicating instructions and there were amenities likes body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. I’m a light sleeper and the space was very quiet. Overall very happy and would stay again.

A really wonderful place to stay! Accommodated our party of 6 perfectly. The staff was attentive and friendly and hosted some fun festive activities in the lobby. We really enjoyed walking to dinner and seeing the sites near by. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Mat and Heather provided an absolutely wonderful experience. I felt welcomed and well taken care of from beginning to end. Clean and comfortable, had everything we needed to stay for several days over the holidays. Location is very convenient to the freeway, walkable to nearby restaurants. The yard is just awesome and our dogs loved it. Nice parking space for our car. Checking in and out was easy and the hosts provided clear communication. Would stay again!

Selected this beautiful home to enjoy my 60th birthday celebration with friends and family. The home is gorgeous and very comfortable, pictures are very accurate and it shows better in person. Dara is a delight to work with. Always on point and responsive. We will visit again soon.
