Vacation rentals in Middlebury

This was my first stay in an Air bnb and just let me say if you want a place that is a feeling of coziness, and that wow factor the minute you walk in the door, this truly is it. Truly a picture from a magazine and the hosts truly thought of everything. It was my granddaughter’s 7th birthday and none of us wanted to leave, during the stay I was sending pictures back home saying we definitely will be coming back. Thank you for opening up your home.

Lovely little cottage by the lake. Very nicely renovated with lots of seating. Beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Gorgeous sunrise over the lake. Leah was very communicative and I appreciate that! Thanks for allowing pets 🐾

We had a fantastic stay at Jane and Matt's home from January 19th to 27th. We came for the snow and we definitely got it! Niles transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland, and downtown was absolutely beautiful. While we didn’t get a chance to use all the outdoor amenities, like the firepit and bikes, the home’s indoor comforts more than made up for it. One of our favorite moments was enjoying meals in the formal dining room, watching the snow fall it was so peaceful. If you're visiting in winter, you'll appreciate that the hosts have a snow shovel available, and they’ve also arranged for a snow removal service to clear the driveway and sidewalks. Also, a helpful tip— the upstairs bedrooms stay much warmer! We would 100% stay here again. The location is perfect just steps from the river and within walking distance of everything in town. For future travelers, just a quick reminder to log out of your apps on the TVs we noticed some were still signed in.

The property was clean and comfortable and allowed for easy access. It was as described and was very close to the worksite that our guys were working on. Elise was very easy to contact if you had any questions and was also very friendly and helpful!

Anna was quick to respond and accommodated our same day check-in which was much appreciated. The house was clean and as pictured, she even had a Christmas tree up for the holidays which made the place feel more like home. We stayed in December, but would have loved to use the screened in porch and enjoyed the lake view if the weather was nicer. The location was close to family which worked well for our stay. Would consider staying again when back for a visit.

Peaceful cottage on Long Lake. Our family shared quality time on Labor Day weekend. Had a peaceful relaxing time. Had a campfire, played in the water. Loved the screened in porch and deck looking over the lake!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

Joanna has got a great home here right in the heart of Shipshewana. We really liked this house and will give her a 5 star without hesitation.

Great host! Very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to get away and relax. Enjoyed our stay and Amanda and Tim made it perfect for our family.
