Hotel vacation rentals in Mid-Coast, Maine

This is a lovely inn with old school charm. Our room on the third floor was not sumptuous, but it was sweet, absolutely immaculate, and complete with comfortable bed, crisp linens and AC. Megan is a friendly and helpful host. The Northeast Harbor area is beautiful and a refreshing change from the crowded, tourist filled Bar Harbor and the main trails of Acadia. There are hiking trails that begin right behind the inn or at a three minute drive to Thuya or Asticou gardens - a plus to also be able to explore the immaculately tended blooms. The in town restaurant, Copita, only a short walk, is not to be missed.

The stay here was beautiful! We only stayed one night but definitely would’ve loved to stay longer. It was such a peaceful, clean, and charming experience!

Our room was much bigger than expected and was immaculate as was the entire lodge. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxed feel to the place and had great conversations with staff members who were all very attentive and helpful. Nice breakfast with homemade bread, muffins, etc. It’s located on a quiet dirt road which was a great early morning spot to walk our dog. So many great trails to hike very close by.

This is a wonderful place to explore the southern part of MDI. Close to Jordan Pond, 20 mins to Bar Harbor. Northeast harbor is a beautiful little town with good eating and shopping options. The staff was super friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Justin and Melanie’s hostel is beautiful and very clean. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. It was a very comfortable stay and I felt right at home. It was perfect to rest after long days of hiking, and kudos to the shuttle services they provided. That was amazing! I will certainly stay at their hostel again!

The house was the perfect amount of space for our family (a newborn baby) and our in-laws. We never felt cramped. The location to the beach was perfect for a walk on the beach with a coffee each morning. Only thing to note is that the washer and dryer are not in the unit, they are next door and they require an additional fee.

Meeting Leslie and staying/ dining in her Ironbound Restaurant & Inn was a highlight of our trip to Maine. We arrived a few hours before the dinner and Leslie introduced us a nice walk nearby to the ocean side before we had dinner at the restaurant. The room was clean and well decorated, full of Leslie’s personal touch that shows her great art taste. In the room we also found a print out of her great tips about exploring the Acadia area that you can hardly get elsewhere. Super great experience and I highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for the weekend. Daughter and I had gone up to do some Christmas activities in the area and this was close to all of them! Place was clean and owner was very responsive on how to get in.

I always love staying at the beautiful Bethel Inn! The food at the Tavern was great but the portions were on the smaller side. The room was nice but I don't think the bathrooms have been decades. But overall a good stay. Great ski weekend!

We were in a tight spot with another rental that fell through and were really happy to find this with just a few hours notice. The apartment is nice and the hot tub, pool, and other amenities were great. I think the price is out of line with other two-bedroom options but we were desperate due to the last-minute situation. Note the kitchen has good tools, pots, pans, etc. for meal prep but there are no spices, oils, plastic wrap, etc. as with other AirBNB rentals. Maybe because this rental isn’t booked very often? The massage chair was a HUGE hit with all of us after hiking around all day. The location is perfect for walking to the waterfront or downtown and the bus pick up is very close.

Great location, property is clean and super cute. Pool was nice and the breakfast spread was good. All in all, 5 stars and would definitely stay here again.

Just go to the property to check in. Very new and warm place to stay. Around 20-30mins drive from the Acadia National Park. They provided some coffee and pastries on the first floor. Apartment has all the things you need when traveling, good value!

Great spot, simple and clean with a cool lounge room with games and the like. 10 minutes or so to Sugarloaf. Van was helpful and friendly.

Despite the late check-in, the process was smooth and great. After several nights camping in the wild, the room had everything we needed and felt like a great deal. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We hope to be able to come back soon since the area has lots to explore!

The place was perfect for our needs. The kitchenette was practical. The host was welcoming We would'nt hesitate to stay there again in the futur

I was looking for an inexpensive local overnight stay and this fit perfectly.

We loved this cottage! It had everything we needed, was clean and bright, styled beautifully. We enjoyed borrowing records from the office to listen to. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. An easy drive to downtown and other points of interest. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
