Guesthouse vacation rentals in Michigan

We had a great stay here, nice environment around. The backyard was nice and gave plenty of room for our pets to have fun. Chad was very accommodating.

We stayed at the Cozy Green Cottage over the Thanksgiving holiday week. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin to get away to and this spot was perfect. I worked remote for the first half of the week and had no problem with her internet connection. We were able to do Zoom calls as well as stream movies. The cottage is super charming. It's over 100 years old and has many hand crafted details. Kitchen is small but totally functional for 2 people. Bathroom has a claw-foot tub with hand-held shower head. The grounds around the cabin are serene. This cabin is behind private homes but since this was off-season, no one was around. It is a short walk to the stairs that take you to Lake Michigan. We opted to drive down the road to a public access area right on the lake. Also very convenient. If you are looking to get away from the everyday buzz of life or need a no-distractions, quiet space to get a project finished, I recommend this cottage!

This is challenging…Michigan has a vibe & an energy that is indescribable…This Airbnb exceeds all expectations! Love this place! As a disabled veteran… I yearn to move to Michigan…I honestly do not want to leave this review because I do not want tourist to find out about this lil private secret place! Over the top amazing place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and adorable! Seth and Kelsey were outstanding hosts and my husband and I were so impressed, these two should give lessons on how to be the perfect hosts!!! The food was amazing and they also slipped in a little birthday surprise for me. The property was so well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were a welcome surprise and we enjoyed meeting other guests fixing s’mores!! I forgot to sign the guest book so will be back soon!!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with thoughtful extras that made traveling even easier. The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the fenced-in yard, which was perfect for our dog. We truly appreciated all the little details that made this stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We were visiting family in Ann Arbor and we had a great, cozy stay at Davy's. The space was just what we needed. We had enough space for our things and to move around. The heat was cozy and we could self adjust for warming up and for turning it down to sleep. The shower was hot with plenty of water pressure. Everything was clean and the mattress was firm and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Very kind and responsive host! House was close to downtown area which was walkable and had great restaurants. Loved the bath and had all that you could need when out of town (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, kitchen supplies, fridge, microwave). Comfortable bed and pillows too :)

It felt great staying at this place. I think the water boiler was not quite functional during our stay, but they immediately offered a solution. We personally felt that we were okay with semi warm shower and did not want the owner to come in to fix the issue, but that's just us. Can't blame the owner for a broken water boiler. Overall, a great place for a great price.

This was a beautiful place! About 30 minutes from downtown Detroit. Plenty to eat near by of a good variety! They offered local recommendations for food and places to go. The place was stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the location and still only 25 minutes from TC. Inside was very clean and more than enough space for two people. Would definitely stay here again.

Linda and Doug were exceptional hosts. Very warm and welcoming, gave great suggestions for to-do’s/food in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfy! We hiked through the woods and had a fire - perfect overnight getaway. The place felt isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely revisit! Thank you both so much for such a warm welcome.

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had in Ann Arbor. Martin was proactive, helpful, and on the day of arrival took the time to show me around the unit. The unit was spotless, and the accommodations were thoughtful.

The cutest little cabin you could ask for. It was cozy and easy to find and well taken care of! Loved the location, the peaceful surrounding and the distance from L’Anse. The host had everything laid out on laminated sheets inside the cabin, which made it so easy to know how to take care of the space and use it! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy get away!

Mimi’s guest house on Mission Peninsula was 10/10 stars! What a beautiful find - perfect location amongst local wineries- close to great restaurants and beautiful beaches. The property was peaceful and the guest house was just as perfect as pictured. We were lucky to get a chance to stay - can’t wait to go back!

Second time staying at this Airbnb in Berrien Springs, and it was a great escape from the city! Clean interior and king size bed were fantastic. It rained, so we didn't get to kayak, but it's great that we had the option. Would return again for a third time some day!

We loved Detroit and our accommodations made our stay special. We loved the convenience of the location, the abundance of amenities that came with the place, as well as the layout and furnishings. Becky and Michelle were great communicators and made check-in and out a breeze. We highly recommend this place for those looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to have a home-cooked meal and a restful sleep at the end of a busy day of visiting the many sights Detroit has to offer.

Julia’s stay made our first trip with the dogs so easy and peaceful!! It was great having the stake already for them for potty time! Very cozy, nice stay :)

Wonderful place, one of our top stays ever. Clean, peaceful, comfortable, easy. Chris was a perfect host, balancing clear communication and warmth with quiet and space. Bed was firm and comfortable, whole place was spotlessly clean, and it was fresh without a lot of fragrance. Wonderful to relax and listen to the birds, and enjoy staying outside the city while still being minutes away from Ann Arbor. Road was in great condition too. Also, Chris is an excellent baker and shared treats with us - her cinnamon loaf and cowboy cookies were delicious! Thanks Chris - hope to stay with you again soon.

This place is ideal for our stay in Sparta. We come to visit family and it is not far from downtown. This place is great for just my wife and I and already booked another stay.

Our stay here was amazing!! The location was great; a quiet neighborhood located just off the freeway. The amenities were as listed, with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. Having a full kitchen to cook in was amazing! Amy and Chris were wonderful hosts, readily available to answer any questions we had. They were happy to bring us any extra amenities that were needed during the stay (kitchen items, blankets, etc). They even cared to check in on us during an unexpected tornado siren, wanting to make sure that we had a safe place to wait out the storm. Overall, I highly recommend booking their tiny home! It is the perfect place for a get-away near Grand Rapids, as it is only 15 minutes or so from downtown. It was lovely to be able to come back and relax after having a busy day in the city.
