Villa vacation rentals in Messina

This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

The house and the garden are absolutely beautiful. The garden and house are already from an older date, but very well kept and unique in their design! Really everything is available (an abundance of crockery with a lot of charm). Paul responds immediately and that's very nice! The dishwasher didn't work, and Paul was already with us an hour later to fix this: absolutely great!

What a villa… and what incredible hosts! We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful estate, it’s MASSIVE with spectacular spaces to relax & enjoy the views of Etna. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, with breakfast treats, restaurant recommendations etc. Would 100% recommend.

The villa is beautiful and even more beautiful than in the photos. Very large, spaces for everyone's privacy (we were 3 couples and 1 solo adult + 4 teenagers), a beautiful pool, well equipped. Maria Louisa and Carlo are very proactive, always attentive and available. The villa is quiet, 10 minutes walk to the black sand beach and 20 minutes to the port. Carlo picked us up and helped us down the suitcases. Vulcano is very pleasant and unspoiled.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with amazing views over the sea-stunning. There are lovely terraces to relax on and to enjoy the peace and tranquillity and views.The house is very comfortable with plenty of space for our group of five adults. All the bedrooms were comfortable with lovely crisp cotton bedding and the kitchen was well equipped.The beach is a 15 minute quite steep walk away and is very secluded with good swimming. Mariagrazia was there to welcome us and our luggage was transported down quite a steep track to the house. She was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and always very quick to respond-thank you! She was especially helpful on the last day when our ferry transport was disrupted by bad weather. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay-it was hard to leave!

Carla’s place is a gem in paradise.

We traveled as a family of four with a 6 year old and 1 year old. This place was perfect and beyond. Louisa had baby chair, toys, cleaning and laundry service, and even helped us get a baby carrier! Literally, look no further and book this place.

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Everything was extremely lovely, we had the best time (maybe too good) at the villa. Our cell signal was not always good, but that was kind of a plus for this vacation. Our group of eleven Americans was very comfortable and Cristina and the team at the property were so accommodating and understanding. I can’t rate this place high enough, you will not regret your stay here.

Maurizio and his sister Barbra was very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoy the stay at their magnificent Villa. We were 14 of us and the tennis court and pool were popular among both the young and adults. The highway is right behind the facilities but the nice garden and area around the house compensate for that. We got a lot of nice tips of what to see and what to do and they arrange a great Pizza evening for us! So happy for the stay - our warmest recommendations! Ciao!

Excellent stay in a peaceful village close to Mount Etna and wine country

Amazing place - probably one of the best air bnbs I've stayed at. Very well equipped, spacious, modern, clean apartment with very comfortable beds. Sadly it rained a lot whilst we were there so we didn't get to use the pool but the garage gym was great. Alberto was super helpful and kind, providing recommendations and advice - very easily to contact throughout our stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice trip to Sicily and Salvo's house. Salvo organized airport pickup and gave us great tips for a week with Mascali as a base. Mascali is not a tourist trap, and is a bit away from major sights, so a rental car I would say is a must. The house accommodates many and it is easy to be social or retreat a bit if one will be left alone. We traveled as an extended family of 11 people, aged 11 to 70. Everyone has had a fantastic time, with everything from day trip to Palermo for football game to mountain hike on Etna, Syracusa and nice Taormina. Tip: Buy mosquito repellent if you want to be out late in the evenings or have the window upstairs in the bedroom at night :-)

Amazing stay in a perfect villa with the BEST hosts! Isabella was so communicative, very helpful with recommendations ( including local arancini festival) and flexible with check in/out. Villa was great and she also arranged for a pizza chef to come in one night and cook some amazing pizzas. We did have 2 cars and used them every day as not much is walking distance, but Villa is very well located for trips to beach, Taormina, suracuse & Etna … and in such a lovely Villa we had little reason to leave! Thanks again and hope to stay again soon 😀

Amazing Views, Spacious Home, Great Host! We recently spent a month at Concetto's place, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Concetto was incredibly responsive and professional, always available when needed. The home itself was very clean and spacious, offering more than enough room for our family. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the pool was sparkling clean with a perfect water temperature — great for both relaxing and swimming. However, there are a few things future guests might want to know. There is no dryer, just a drying rack, which worked fine for us but may require planning for longer stays. Additionally, there’s no outdoor grill or usable outdoor kitchen, which would have been nice to have. Also, keep in mind that walking to the main streets can be tricky. The driveway is very steep and windy, and even after reaching the bottom, there’s another steep hill to tackle. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had an amazing stay!

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

We got a little lost finding the place, but that was in part due to the fact that someone had messed with one of the street signs. We really loved the place once we got there, and Carmelo and Rosaria were so helpful in getting us to the Villa. Would stay there again for sure!

The house located in a truly peaceful and relaxing place, with lemon trees and olive trees around; the house is very beautiful and lovely, with lovely flowers around the garden, and smell really good. Vanessa and her family are very kind and nice, provided us everything we need. It's easy to drive to so many nice restaurants nearby, and very close to several towns and cities. We had a wonderful week here!

We spent a wonderful week in Giuseppe's apartment. We were two people with a puppy. The house is in a very quiet area of Mascali and to reach nearby towns such as Taormina, Catania, Syracuse is perfect. You can reach the beach on foot. The house was very clean and equipped. So thanks to Giuseppe and his mom Graziella, very helpful.

Very welcoming . Available any hour in case of request or if there is a very responsive problem. We were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities and pool , the stay was really nice. The beach is close , good proximity to restaurants, bars and shops . Once again, thank you for your flexibility and availability.

Warmly recommended . Confirm what many have written. 5 minute walk to little town has everything for your basic needs. Fabulous cafe on Main Street. Cheese shop that has fresh bursts and mozzarella. House has all the facilities anyone could need on a vacation whether young or old, including a basil plan for salads!! Everything is clean and has been thought of and taken care of. Plenty of space for 9 people. Beautiful gardens and pool. We were sorry we could not take more advantage of pool as weather was not great. The bbq area is unbelievable. Good value if you go with 9 people. Close to Giardini a holiday town and Taormina, which is pretty but full of tourists. Need a car to get around but close to Giardini which has access to all buses and trains. Finally as has been said the owners are helpful and kind and available at all times to help.

Probably one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. The place is beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos, super spacious, has everything we needed and more, and had stunning views of Etna. We felt right at home and did not even want to leave the place to explore. Daniella was a superstar, she was very friendly, proactive, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us, we had a wonderful time.

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%
