Great location! Beach was only a few minutes walk. Neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet, with exception of the daily national anthem coming from the nearby naval base. The house is stocking with everything you would need to make big family meals and anything you might want for beach play. Our grown kids LOVED the ping pong table in the garage!

This house was very clean, private, beds were comfy and plenty of bath towels for our party of 6, great coffee and the yard was so nice!!

My husband and I did a five day stay here and it was well worth it. We wanted to stay somewhere serene while still being able to explore Santa Barbara and Ojai. Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes away and Ojai is about 30 minutes. We bounced around between those two towns and also got to see what Carpinteria was all about. Steven's place is 7 minutes to the Carpinteria Bluffs where heaven meets earth. The locals are friendly and high in consciousness, they are one with the environment and take pride in their role in keeping it safe. The home itself is spacious with great views, the kitchen was fully stocked with the all the cooking essentials. Instacart delivers to this location if you need anything last minute. During the stay you will hear different sounds of farm animals in the distance which I found relaxing. The living room is comfortable with tons of lounge furniture and space. The outdoor decks have plenty of seating and is surrounded by wildlife. If you want peace come here!

This is a wonderful location for Santa Barbara. We spent most of our time focused on the beach we had midday low tides and it was perfect for long strolls up and down the coast. But it is also a short car ride to the Botanical Garden, Montecito, and downtown for the farmers' market. The layout is comfortable and amenities are plentiful and more than we were able to take advantage of. The backyard is not done justice in the description or photos - it is a little slice of peaceful nature, shaded by a majestic oak tree. We found everything we needed very easily, all instructions were clear, and we definitely would return in a heartbeat.

This lovely home was perfect for our trip conveniently located between Downtown Santa Barbara and UCSB where we were visiting our niece. It was cozy, clean, and tucked away in a beautiful nature-filled neighborhood and had everything we needed. Thank you Steve & Michelle for a wonderful stay and your excellent hospitality!
